Yay for the back up blankie, I have a small Teddy from my babyhood but he's 42 and has had new eyes, and ears (childhood dog went nomming) but he lives in my dining room for safety! 😂
I have a stuffed bear with a pumpkin outfit that I won from a claw machine when I was 8 (named him 'Pumpkin' lol. I was such a creative child lol). He has been with me every step literally even college and I'm the same lol. I don't think I want kids so he is unlikely to get passed on to anyone. He is stuck with me (unless a possible niece or nephew begs for him in the future or something lol). And omg I've been meaning to watch In the Mood for Love omg, omg. I would drive three hours for Wings (1927) on the big screen with someone live playing the piano for it. I would literally lose my mind if I ever saw a theater showing it.
hahaha all my stuffed animals had super creative names like that, too 😅 OOO I've never seen Wings (isn't that awful), but it'd be amazing to see it (or any other silent film) in a theater with live accompaniment. Check out The Anvil Orchestra (previously Alloy Orchestra). They're a group that does live music with silent films and they're amazing. I got to see them perform music for Metropolis several years ago--SO GOOD. Definitely check out In the Mood for Love! It's a rich experience.

I loved this video! I would totally drive 3 hours to see The Titanic or The Shawshank Redemption. Loved the fact that the room had black out curtains. Glad you got to enjoy some alone time and had a night to yourself! Can't wait for the next video! Take care! Oh came back to add another movie I would drive 3 hours to see... Little Women, but not just any version, the only version of Little Women that I will watch is the one with Winona Ryder and Susan Surandan (sp). Yep I would drive 3 hours for that movie too! Lol
I can't believe you actually found Back-up Blankie and it was still being sold! What are the odds?? Well, whoever gave it to you as a baby gift picked a good one, since it's still available 38 years later. For sure, not many baby things last that long. (Although: I saved Boy's Batmobile and all the Zords, because those dang toys were AMAZING!)
Loved your getaway summary and seeing the cool hotel room! What movie would I drive 3 hours to see?? Ah, well, "Children of Paradise" (1945/French) probably. I'll have a chance for "Lawrence of Arabia" and "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" this summer, so that would have to be my next choice.

Doesn’t Austin have a big tech center? If so, a lot of those jobs work from home either full time or part time. If part time - no one picks Monday as their in office day if they can help it.
They're showing that one, too, later this summer! It's on my list to watch, but probably at home. I can't keep road tripping to Austin for the next three months lol

It's Tennessee Woolen Mills. The blankets even have the same tag. They closed in 1998, but people still resell their stuff online.
