Always a gamble in a long distance race. If I could change anything for that race I would have picked a bigger fin for a bit more drive and less spinout. Yes your right about Nico, I think he was on his Isonic 67cm and 6.6 sail.
For me the FF is faster to plane and has the faster top end if the water is flatter to moderate chop. Once there is more chop or cross chop the Fox stars to catch up. Both gybe nice with the Fox holding the gybe a bit better in the really rough stuff due to a narrower tail.

How would you indicate the differences between the FF and the Fox?
