If we want to find the truth, we must look at the teachings objectively, without prejudice.
"the problem of the christians is that they are believe and quote scripture which is already known to be filled with various insertions and fabricated texts by Greek monks around the 4th century... If you study the matter, you will discover that in early discovered Christian manuscripts such as the Codex Sinaiticus, Codex Vaticanus, Alexandrian Codex, and Armenian Codex, there is no mention of the same Trinity in the book of John 5:7.
This verse in the modern Bible reads as follows (5:7): "For there are three that testify: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one."
But in the original texts of all ancient manuscripts until the 4th century, it reads as follows (5:8): "And there are three that testify on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three are in agreement."
Also absent in all ancient manuscripts is the story of Jesus saving the adulteress from being stoned with the words "let he who is without sin cast the first stone"... In other words, this story is entirely fabricated.
There are so many such insertions and distortions that even the most important prayer of modern Christianity, the Lord's Prayer, sounds different in the original...
Therefore, it is not surprising that in some places Jesus asserts that he is the Son of Man, a servant of God, and a messenger, while in others, suddenly, it is claimed that he is almost God himself... Through the example of these manuscripts, we see that the text underwent distortions towards Trinitarianism and the affirmation of the Trinity..."

Jesus was in no way claiming to be God when he wrote the commandment against adultery on the ground, followed by the names of the men who committed adultery with this woman. Many of whom were standing right there holding stones against her when they were just as guilty.
Jesus was functioning in his capacity as judge. God gave Jesus all authority in heaven and earth to judge men and angels. Jesus is judging just as these men requested that he do when they brought him this woman. They thought he was going to judge her harshly, well letting them off. He showed mercy to her and to them because he allowed them to drop their stones and walk away.

    • @timhaley3459

Jesus is NOT God Almighty, but "a god" in the spirit realm, as John 1:1, 2 shows in the Codex Vaticanus of about 350 C.E. (predating the King James Bible by some 1,260 years): "In a beginning was the Word, and the Word was with the God, and a god was the Word. This was in a beginning with the God."(Note: the Codex Sinaiticus of about 375 C.E., reads the same as the Codex Vaticanus)
At Galatians 4:13, 14, the apostle Paul wrote: "But you know that it was because of a physical illness that I had my first opportunity to declare the good news to you. And though my physical condition was a trial for you, you did not treat me with contempt or disgust; but you received me like an angel of God, like Christ Jesus."
So, Jesus Christ is an angel, "a god", that is Jehovah's "Word" or chief spokesman, and is called "the arm of Jehovah" at Isaiah 51:9; 53:1, 2, his channel for dispensing Bible truths, such as Revelation 1:1 shows and and the apostle John quoted Isaiah 53:1, stating:
"Although he (Jesus Christ) had performed so many signs before them, they (the nation of fleshly Israel) were not putting faith in him, so that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, who said: “Jehovah, who has put faith in the thing heard from us ? And as for the arm of Jehovah, to whom has it been revealed ?”(John 12:37, 38)
At 1 Corinthians 10:1-4, the apostle Paul shows Jesus as the angel that released the nation of Israel from Egyptian slavery and then guided them through their 40 year trek through the wilderness until they reached the land of Canaan (see also Num 20:16), saying:
"Now I want you to know, brothers, that our forefathers were all under the cloud and all passed through the (Red) sea and all got baptized (or immersed) into Moses by means of the cloud and of the sea, and all ate the same spiritual food and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they used to drink from the spiritual rock that followed them, and that rock (or angel) meant the Christ."(see Ex 3:1-4; 14:19; Acts 7:53)
When Jesus was about to expel a demon from a man (who actually was filled with many demons, and was called Legion, that means "a Roman regiment" of between 3,000 to 6,000 soldiers, see Mark 5:9) in the region of the Gerasenes, the most outspoken demon cried out: "What have I to do with you, Jesus, Son of the Most High God ? I beg you, do not torment me."(Luke 8:28)
This demon clearly knew that Jesus is "Son of the Most High God" (see John 3:16) and was Jesus former "brother" as an angel in the heavenly spirit realm before this demon rebelled and abandoned his "original position" in heaven to materialize as a man and have sex relations with women, as Jude 6, 7 explains.(see also Gen 6:1-4)
The person of Jesus Christ was transferred to the womb of Mary by Jehovah God (see Luke 1:26-35), so that Jesus was truly a man of flesh and blood and NOT "God incarnate". John 1:14 says: "So the Word (Jesus Christ as Jehovah's chief spokesman, his "messenger of the covenant", Mal 3:1, "the arm of Jehovah") became flesh and resided among us, and we had a view of his glory, a glory such as belongs to an only-begotten son from a father; and he was full of divine favor and truth."
Jesus replaced the rebel Adam as obedient mankind's "father" (see Isa 9:6), who lost this right when he joined with "the serpent" and his wife Eve in their rebellion against Jehovah's sovereignty.(Gen 3:1-6) The apostle Paul made note of this at 1 Corinthians 15:45: "So it is written (at Gen 2:7): “The first man Adam became a living person.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit."
And of the holy spirit, it is Jehovah's life force that he uses to create with, as Psalms 104:30 shows, and empowers his loyal servants to accomplish his will, that at times, goes beyond human capability. At Luke 4:1, it says that ' Jesus was full of holy spirit ', so that he was able to go forth to fulfill all that Jehovah wanted him to do (John 17:4; 19:30), and with the holy spirit, Jesus was able to heal sick ones and resurrect people who had died.(Matt 9:18-38; Luke 7:11-17; John 11:43, 44)
At Isaiah 44:3, it says: "For I (Jehovah) will pour out water on the thirsty one and flowing streams on the dry ground. I will pour out my spirit on your offspring and my blessing on your descendants." Just as water is not a person, but that which can be poured on a person, so likewise the holy spirit is NOT a person, but a force from Jehovah that can be "poured out" on a person to empower him or her to fulfill an assignment, as Samson did when he killed 1,000 Philistines with the fresh jawbone of a donkey.(Judges 15:9-16)
At Acts 6:5, it says that Stephen was "a man full of faith and holy spirit", so that just as faith is not a person, but a quality or characteristic, so likewise the holy spirit is NOT a person, but is an impersonal force from Jehovah that moves his loyal servants to do his will.
It can accurately be stated that the word "spirit" (Hebrew ruach; Greek pneuma) is an invisible force that produces visible results, and is same word used in the Bible for wind, as can be seen at John 3:8: "The wind (Greek pneuma) blows where it wants to,"
"and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know where it comes from and where it is going. So it is with everyone who has been born from the spirit (Greek pneuma)."(see also Gen 6:3; 8:1, where at Genesis 6:3, "spirit" is the Hebrew ruach and at Genesis 8:1, where "wind" is the Hebrew ruach)

I was brought up in a working class British household - more Methodist thinking than strictly Christian. Late in life I am studying the gospels and realise what a hard path it is to follow the teachings of Jesus and I realise that for a greater part of my life I have failed. I do not think ritual is what God asks of us but something far more; love and outward focus on peace and fellowship rather than strict adherence to cultish doctrine. I fear for the souls of those who have been brainwashed to think this way. Any religion that brings hate into your heart for your fellow man has not originated from the Divine I am sure of that. Jesus is without doubt the only way, the only truth and the only light.

The way of Christ is hard without the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is here to help us navigate successfully. Also John's epistle tells us that His commandments aren't burdensome our sins are. I hope we can tap all the help the Holy Spirit is here to give us before we depart this world so we don't make it to heaven and be shown all the greatness we missed while on earth.

@@Mercyme57 I believe He was writing the Law of God which would have convicted all those condemning the woman of their own sin and thus they slunk away, but also He wrote with the Finger of God, just as at Mount Sinai, on the ground of the Temple Court in Jerusalem, which would have been made of solid stone, not "sand" as many people say.
Sand only make Yeshua's task very human and normal, but writing on rock would prove Him to be God in the flesh, thus there was no doubt among the onlookers of Who He was.
It is only a tradition the concept of sand (almost in unbelief by human logic), when in fact the Scriptures only use the word "ground" which is the rock surface Jerusalem is built on.

Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." 1 Corinthians 13 4-7
I think Sam here needs a refresher in the attributes of God and what love is. I've watched quite a few videos of Sam's and I don't see much of any of what is listed. No patience, irritable, rude, doesn't bear much, doesn't sound very hopeful, insulting, and certainly insists on his own way. All that scripture in your head and you still lack love. What a sad thing to see. I know you probably will block me but I hope you take this to heart. I'm from Detroit and it took 20 years of salvation for God to bring that revelation to me. They were also going to kill Paul on the temple mount, but the Romans intervened and stoped them, otherwise they would have killed Paul, they also lay in wait for Paul to kill him but the governor provided an escort for Paul who took him to Ceaserea. They stoned Stephen to death in a mad frenzy regardless of Roman law and the Romans did nothing about it.
So to answer your question, this was a mob out of control spurred on by satanic influence who cared nothing for Roman law.

    • @dajw7540

There’s a good commentary on this based in the historical dealings with Rome and Jewish uprisings. The Jews deferred to Rome where Jesus was concerned, and even declared allegiance to Caesar, because he was a very controversial figure and he had Rome’s attention. If they broke the law and executed him themselves and started an uprising, they would have upset the apple cart and Tome would have enforced the law on them. But with Stephen, he was a somewhat low key figure without fame and Rome was not in the habit of caring or enforcing the law when the Sanhedrin or rabble of Jews killed another Jew that didn’t cause an upside. They usually looked the other way as long as the peace status quo was maintained.

In Judaic justice system it was also not lawful for the jury to have been guilty of a crime they were about to judge a defendant on. By writing on the ground , it was said that Jesus wrote the names of the men in the audience already guilty of same sin. This is why they also walked away in disgrace leaving the woman only. The "account" of an "adulteress woman" at John 7:53-8:11, whereby supposedly concerning an adulteress woman brought to Jesus by the scribes and Pharisees and Jesus told them that whoever was sinless cast the first stone, is FALSE. The verses of John 7:53-8:11 are NOT in the most ancient Greek manuscripts, such as the Codex Vaticanus of about 350 C.E., the Codex Sinaiticus of about 375 C.E., and the Syriac codex of the 4th and 5th centuries C.E. These verses are spurious additions by an unscrupulous hand (as well as Mark 16:9-20), and NOT "inspired of God".(2 Tim 3:16)
Only from the 6th century onward are these verses found in Greek manuscripts, and whereby some place them at the end of the "book" of John, while another group places them after Luke 21:38 (or in three different places in Bibles), supporting the evidence that they are spurious and uninspired.
In its center notes, the New King James Bible says of John 7:53-8:11: "NU brackets (or Nestle-Aland; United Bible Societies) 7:53 through 8:11 as not in the original text. They are present in over 900 mss. of John", 900 manuscripts that are spurious, in which the spurious addition was never verified for accuracy, just passed along without question.
In the Emphatic Diaglott of 1864, that has Codex Vaticanus with the Greek interlinear into English, it says in the bottom notes on John 7:53-8:11, as "omit" in the Codex Vaticanus, so the words that Jesus was told of an adulterous women standing next to him who should be stoned and then Jesus telling these men that the man that is sinless throw the first stone, so that all of them left, is nothing but a "fairy tale", NOT Bible "truth".
So, how vitally important it is to have an ACCURATE Bible, as well as access to accurate Bible information, for without both of these, a person remains in "darkness", CANNOT gain life everlasting in such a state. At Luke 4, Jesus stands up and come to the front of the synagogue in Nazareth, and is handed the scroll of Isaiah, with him turning to Isaiah 61, and saying:
"Jehovah’s (God's name, see Isa 12:2; 26:4, KJV) spirit is upon me, because he anointed me to declare good news to the poor. He sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and a recovery of sight to the blind (or those in spiritual "darkness"), to send the crushed ones away free, to preach Jehovah’s acceptable year.”(Luke 4:18, 19)
Only if a person makes a serious, sincere, solemn study of the Bible, coming to know Jehovah God through an ACCURATE Bible, can they do as Jesus said in prayer at Matthew 11:25: "I publicly praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intellectual ones and have revealed them to young children (or humble ones)."
At John 17:3, Jesus succinctly prayed to Jehovah: "This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ." A person CANNOT know Jehovah by being mislead with spurious or lying texts.

Let those who have ears, hear. The bible says that it is given unto us to understand the hidden meanings of the Kingdom of God.

I've been wondering about that passage for decades. I've heard many sermons and theologians touch on it, but none gave satisfactory answers as to why he wrote and what he wrote.

Lord, you are the hope of Israel; all who forsake you will be put to shame. Those who turn away from you will be written in the dust because they have forsaken the Lord, the spring of living water. (Jer 17:13)

Brother you're one of the few that actually take the time to understand this and unpack it in an expository fashion, most pastors that teach on the subject don't do that...
That is 1,000 percent correct, Jesus dispatched the crowd, because under the law the witness.... had culpability

Going about how Sam explain the scripture he is a teacher to be revered and to those that would oppose scripture tells us give honour where honour is due so then who has authority a teaching save what he is given by God and when you examine the teachings of this man they remain inspired i hope he gets recognized by official institutions.

One of my school teachers taught us that there are no stupid questions.... Can you imagine how this made shy or un-confident students not afraid to ask questions? She was a real gem.

Question: how can the bible be the foundation of Christian truth when there was no bible in Christianity?
      Answer: it can't historically & theoretically .....
Unless you have a heretical brainwashed protestant mind
