I've just done these awesome little ballet slippers .I have to do the teddy faces yet thou but there done . Made 1 and for some reason I ended up with more stitches, and of course the shoe is bigger, Taking into account I used 8 ply yarn and a 4mm hook. As long as the next one I make is the same size I will be Happy!!! Had to add a few more rows of sc around to make them fit better!
Yes, they'll end up bigger with the heavier weight yarn and larger hook but they will still look sweet 👍 Here's hoping you get the stitch count the same on the second shoe as the first! 😅
I am using 4medium yarn 4mm hook and I also ended up with extra stitches on the round where u put in 18 single crochets after the 2 together double crochets. I have done it twice same problem. All stitch counts are correct till that point. Weird
