Boss RC-600 Single (Serial) Mode Fixed! - Firmware Update 1.21

Today Boss released firmware 1.21 fixing a number of things including Single Mode which had some quite wonky behavior prior to this. Been testing for a few hours and so far so good. There was a bit of weirdness at some point in the video but I think it was a misplaced pedal tap on my part. Thank you Boss for listening to the community and continuing support of the #rc600

Nice video! Well explained. How do you use your Morningstar MC6? I also use one with Boss RC-600 (for general volume and start/stop rhythm) but I would like to find more useful things to do with it...

Thank you! I’m only using the MC6 to change patches on my other pedals. I use ext foot switches to control some additional things in the RC-600 like start stop and a filter effect

Hello, Josh, can you please share the link to the old firmware for boss RC 600 (1.04) - I just saw Emily McVicker's video about "downgrading" and I hope it can work for me as well (her link is not available anymore). I just bought the loop station and upgrade it to 1.21 and it's total disaster :( I don't know what else to do...Thank you in advance

It is! I used it all summer. However I’m still very interested in using Loopy Pro because it’s so flexible

@@JoshElliottMusic Yeah .. i am in the same boat. I bought the RC600 again and it works very fine. And it is sooooo convenient. But Loopy is just sooo great. Wish the was a kind of "hardware" device that runs Loopy

@@SebastianBogensperger I’ve been doing so much thinking on this and I think I have to stick with hardware. Most of my gigs are in the summer here and it gets quite hot and humid. I don’t want to have to babysit an iPad to keep it from overheating. Loopy Pro is so great but I have to also think practically about the tools I use for gigging.
