It’s still making that static noise I’ve tried everything. I’ve changed hz sounds, updated/uninstalled driver etc. for some reason when I open up my settings then go to audio the static just stops and when I close out of settings it starts again, it just starts randomly. Please someone help.

What he also needs to add is when it's not driver related if you right-click your speaker icon in the bottom right hand corner of the screen and then click on Sounds. A small window should open up showing the following tabs from left to right Playback, Recording, Sounds, Communications. Click the Playback tab and choose your speakers that are having the issue (mine was listed as SPDIF Interface) and then the name of the speakers under that. You right click on that device, and then another window shows with 4 more tabs, one of them being "Supported Formats". Uncheck DTS and Dolby because that is what is causing the issues with certain videos being played causing static, popping and whatever else you can describe that god awful noise as sounding like. Hope this comment helps someone out, took me a minute to figure it out, so hopefully it saves someone some time!

Thanks bro, that static noise was driving me crazy !!!

So my audio issues actually stopped while I was watching this video. I think the issue has to do with max audio output power.? I noticed if I have the volume too high it picks up that horrible screeching static sound. So I set my max volume to 50% and now if I hit the max volume it won't give me the static! (I tried all of the driver updates and that still didn't help). Either way, thanks for the video!!

Oh ok. That means your cpu needs either more RAM or more storage space. Both affects cpu performance. Thanks for the update!
