ignore that "I did not mean to die there" shows up like 4 seconds before it's supposed to I'm not gonna bother reuploading this to fix that tiny of a mistake
Reaching the summit is the bad ending because you reach the only place of escape, only to realize there is nothing left for you. You come to the realization that you're stuck on the island until you die (or your battery runs out, like the first robot in the first room.). Defeating the core is the good ending because you stopped the quaking on the island. Even though you get stuck in the cave, you at least die knowing you accomplished what the others couldn't. Either way, you do end up dying in the long run, but at least in the good ending, there is some satisfaction.
this is so cool, why is it so underrated??? the map and weapon is so well-made, especially the audio design for the caves and rain, along with the awesome music! on a side-note, do you have sheet music for any of the music? it would be cool to see how the drums were written :D
Thank you so much for the kind words!! All music was composed using FL Studio so there's no sheet music, though I'm demaking the soundtrack in Organya format (MIDI-like) so if you're interested in that, a download link to the Haze recreation is in the description of this soundcloud.com/eprecyclebin/haze
The soundtrack takes up the majority of the download size, I used ogg files for the ambiance and music that are around ~1-2 mb each iirc, I might look into finding a way to compress them because the download is quite big for a cave story mod

Interesting. I haven't seen any cave story content in many years. Perhaps it was my fate to fall back into this game and it's modding scene again.
I like how there are still people making mods on this game
Still making mods from time to time, I've released two since but I haven't edited and published the playthrough of one of them yet
@@AquaDoukutsu keep it up bro I'm supporting this content
I must say your music taste is a 10/10
godlike ost , and simple and interesting mod,
Oh...wow. This looks amazing!
I really like cave story and I am looking forward to new mods
great music, weapon design, and level design. the dialogue is a bit exposition-heavy but other than that id say this is a really good mod.
So you're telling me your still working on the game that would be very amazing and fun I want this to keep on going
This mod have so much good songs
Why is the summit the bad ending and the "being trapped in a cave" the good ending?

I wonder if there exists a cave story-like game with UNDERTALE'S
morality system?

Sir where can i plqy it
Thanks to you i want to make a mod now, unfortunately I don't have a computer to do it :/
Quick question if you don't mind but do you know how I can add mods to the game?
mods are distributed standalone, you just download and run them
