  • After 6 months of fixing problems, I finally used the Bentley Arnage T like a regular car. I thought I would treat it to a new pair of shoes, in the form of four new Michelin Cup Sport 3 tyres.
But my celebrations were short-lived, and I ended up breaking down again! This time with the most random of faults.

Glad that the gearbox issue wasn’t too bad!
I would definitely go for the T alloy wheels, the wheels of an Arnage T are the most noticeable T elements of the car after all… maybe you can source some locally or in the region?
And also would love watching a video of that car getting cleaned/detailed/waxed.
+1 for the Azure on T wheels, maybe it’s an Azure T? These are real unicorns.
    Enjoying it all 👌🏼💯

Thanks very much! I think the Arnage T alloys are a must, but I want to make sure the car is mechanically reliable before spending on alloys. Unfortunately I dont think i can source locally. I've been looking for a while but have never seen a set come up. Might have to pick them up from the UK.
I will do a detailing video in the future. Its way too hot in Saudi right now to do anything outside. 45 degrees!

I have a 2005 T (with those Azure wheels). Nice to get your feedback on your car issues - keep us updated...thanks.

Keep up the good work! I really liked seeing the Azure next to the Arnage. I prefer a sedan, but think they more elegantly resolved the rear design on the Azure. I would skip the rims for now until you get everything up to snuff. As a tip, when you do the suspension, just bite the bullet on all the bushings, etc. I regret doing mine piecemeal and now it's going in for its 3rd session to complete everything. There's some good cross referenced parts where you can save some money, including the wheel sensors which I think may be your ABS and traction control issues.

Thanks for the comments and encouragement! I think you are right about the bushings. Problem is everything on this car is so expensive! I thought Ferraris were expensive but Bentley takes the p***!

I recommend getting the car reliable, fully serviiced with all functions working - then spend on the pretty bits. Keep it oem+ next owner will pay more if kept original.

100% agree. Im not a fan of modifying cars. Subtle upgrades is one thing, but otherwise I like them stock.

I missed out on a set of T alloys on ebay. I should have bid higher.
Mulsannes are indeed great value for money, and look good with the 5 spoke alloys.

Unfortunately you have a jinxed car. I wouldn't waste anymore money or time. Sell and buy a good one. There are lots.
