Dr. Simon saying "Come here often?" at the end gave me a chuckle.
Kinda awesome how storm chasing brings friends together in the middle of nowhere. Hope you all had a good chase!
I'm somewhat of a newbie. Who is Dr. Simon? I've heard of him before.

Hank, “imagine that”
😂😂😂
Lost the burrito as well.. 🎉
If it was scripted (and I know it wasn't) I would have said it was beautifully written.
Love watching you, no yelling, screaming, or swearing. Just the facts with music. Experiencing storms with you is an honor. Stay safe and thank you for all you do.
I know the people who love to compliment Pecos Hank for how relaxed he is during chases (and even dangerous situations) also like to criticize Reed Timmer for how boisterous he gets during chases at times..
But I don't think y'all understand how long and grueling some chases can get, especially if it busts and nothing happens. The fact that Hank is able to be as laid-back as he is with _barely_ any hint lf excitement..
I'm telling y'all that is a a sheer level of *patience* most couldn't even begin to comprehend. I dare say most take Pecos Hank for granted, when he is of an extremely rare breed.
Can’t miss a Pecos Hank video release! Quality not quantity.
I think you have one of ten good comments here
And no one screaming Tornado at the top of their lungs repeatedly 😊
You are so right.
Shots like 6:03 are one of the main things that attract me to Pecos Hank. A beautiful, big red barn out in a field, a nice-looking sky, breaking up to let some sunshine out, a long, tree-covered hill in the distance with homes scattered on its side, and just over that hill a large tornado is tearing up this natural beauty. Pecos Hank is a gifted, talented and hard-working artist, who's ability to see, choose, compose and frame an attractive scene in nature is over-the-top! Like the tornado.

Hank excells at deciding on what he wants to share in a given video and then choosing his video footage and his incidental music to make everything come together in a compelling story. . . Over and over again!
The classic Pecos cinematic eery music is always the icing on the cake.
It's the eerie music, the cinematic shots of the Great Plains and the calm voice that make Pecos Hank one of the greats for me!
And never so loud as to interfere with the narration.
And he makes the music too!
All of you are preaching to the choir. . . Never mind his skill with weaving together his own footage with footage shared by other chasers (and cameo appearances by the likes of Skip Talbott) into storm chasing masterpieces.
Absolutely!
“Cause that thunder just told us to.” - Glad to know you’re hearing the same thing I am, and that you’re willing to heed that warning. 🤗
We need more, man! The 2024 tornado chasing world needs you. I'm not really trying to rip on the live stream chase crowds of today, but not very many of them know how to tell a story like you.
This year has not been very good for tornados. The next five days in Kansas will likely change that though
💯 agree
@@SK_weatherand it did. Massive ef4 over half a mile wide hit Omaha Nebraska and another big tornado prolly an ef3 hit Lincoln Nebraska
@@jacksongentry2431 yup and Oklahoma might do that all over again today sadly
Got tornado cupcakes.
I’m feeling horribly sick right now- and what do I see but a Pecos Hank notification? My day is made again!
You're not alone. I'm sick as well, and this lifted my mood too.
Feel lots better real soon! 💐🎈

i’m now realizing that pecos hank literally risks his life to show us these beautiful forces of nature. i appreciate him and his content a lot. thank you! safety! 🙏🙌
An unexpected treat! My TH-cam algorithm is gonna be switching from cars to weather events until about October. Gotta love a Pecos Hank upload!
Lol my kinda guy! Respec!
This video really captured the green shift that happens just before the tornado strikes. It's so funny how apparent it is, it almost feels like something from a movie, but it really does get that green.
Hank I’ve always been in awe and equally terrified of tornadoes… I’m 37 years old… I’ve read books and watched hundreds of videos…. I still get chills from your footage just about every time I see them… Your work is art sir! Unique in every way!
Even behind a screen they can be terrifying. Loud, dark...so massive, that our minds go "that cant be real...nothing that big can move that fast". I think humans innately always had a fear of something big and loud chasing us..
Hank is everywhere, you just don't see him because the tornado he is chasing is obscuring your view! Like, I swear bro gets every tornado! Great video and stafe safe out there!
Yessir
I was just passig by New London off of Amtrak back in January this year. I've watched your videos for years now but when you know or have seen the local towns these tornadoes impact. It brings a whole new level of awe, fear, and respect for nature at once.
I was chasing this storm since I live near there. Followed it from Salem to Yarmouth and accidentally intercepted the outer edge of the tornado in New London. It's crazy to see how many chasers unite in a group like this. Seeing Reeds dominator and other chasers near my hometown is a wonderful experience. Unfortunately I'm left here with the damage to houses with people I know, but glad some of you guys came to show support to those who were affected.
Pecos Hank is first to predict the path and first to the damage so often. You can tell his sense of direction, speed and danger are dialed. Lovely craft that tornado chasing.
I hope he's getting great footage of the Aurora borealis tonight! It's a magical thing! It'll be visible all over the Midwest, Great Lakes and some Southeast states. Between 10 pm and 2 AM tonight!!
Again, one of the most incredible channels on TH-cam
1) I was wondering if you were in Iowa for that!
2) I don't know how you manage to make spooky music sound simultaneously calming and intriguing, but keep working all your magic.
Finally a new video. I don't need the craziest footage. It's the way you tell stories that make me wanna watch the videos.
This is exactly how I feel.
One of the calmest chasers out there with awesome equipment! Thanks for sharing!
My whole family farmed there in the '60s. Wild country, flat, with nothing to stop the wind. The best view of that country is with a screen. Lol Thank you, Hank...🇺🇸 👍☕
My sister & family lived in Mt Pleasant for a little while... I spent a lot of time in that area in the early 2000's, one of my favorite parts of the state!
I bragged about your channel to my family in Oklahoma. My Mom now watches your channel
The rotation in that storm was absolutely crazy
There's always something eerie about a tornado showing up near your home town.
I’m a simple man. I see Pecos Hank upload, I click and watch intently. Be safe out there, my friend, and happy trails!
Really good footage Hank! One of my friends who is a storm chaser was chasing the exact same storm and captured this tornado on a call with all of us. I've been following you since I was in elementary school and you've always been one of my main inspirations and soon in about a year or two, I can go storm chasing myself which feels really bizarre to me that I've been interested in weather for this long. Keep chasing Hank and know that you have inspired so many people around the world.
You know Severe Weather season is in full effect when Pecos starts uploading again
Love the music, Hank. It always fits what's going on in the video. It definately gives everything that ominous feeling. I'm from New England. We can get hurricanes and "nor-easter" winter storms and I'm ok with those, but I would never want to face a tornado!
Tornados have happened here, but they are extremely rare.
I was about to hit the sack then I saw the Pecos Hank video and I watched it! Mesmerizing as usual!!
Pecos hank has a way of makeing time disappear when watching his videos, could watch him endlessly
Big love from FW to the greatest tornado videographer ever!
Hank!
Followed by CLICK! 😀
Absolutely gorgeous footage
I’ve heard some wise people say “If the tornado doesn’t look like it’s moving, it coming at you”
Living in East Iowa, that was a spooky day! Had Reed Timmer's stream on all day to see where the activity was. The one near Vinton was the closest to me, but this one was about an hour away. Thanks for the video! Super cool to see when it is not happening at the moment!
You know it's a great day when Mr. Hank uploads
My favorite storm chaser no doubt! Been a storm nut and weather geek my whole life and I enjoy vids from Hank more than any of the others.
I chased this tornado clear down near Houghton and up to just North of New London and almost drove straight into it due to it being rain wrapped at peak intensity. Love seeing how all us chasers end up on the same storm, its like we all have a third eye for the weather lol. Got great footage and photos as well, and being my first multi-vortex tornado ever! Gotta admire your style in chasing, keep up the good work!
Starting off my Sunday morning with some Pecos Hank Tornado goodness! 👌🏻
I literally just finished Tornadoes of 2021, and here you are, holy jeez
Another amazing tornado video. Best storm chaser on the platform!

Pecos, I don't know what it is that you do to your video's either in post processing or the type of equipment you use, but your video's always look absolutely amazing and the quality of the video is always so crisp and clean. Keep up the awesome work, it's greatly appreciated! Stay safe brother!
With all the storm chasing videos out there, Hanks are the most exciting and entertaining. The narration, the music, the map and radar cutaways make each release like a mini movie. I could watch him all day and have. Thanks Hank.
Great work! Always good to see you around my neck of the woods in SE IA, haha!
To have Pecos Hank chasing in any area that you're also chasing would be frigging amazing!
Bro, I love your videos, man. Your videos got me to know more about tornadoes and tornado chasing. Every time there's a tornado warning in my area, I will always wait for something or watch the news, lol.
Woohoo!!!!!!
Hank, listening to your music i just wanna be out there with ya outside drinking a beer and just watchin the storms rumble by.

Man I love what you do, you make me want to chase storms because it's so beautiful to see,but nobody see's the downtime and waiting around you may or may not have to do just to get these shots, you seem to always be in the right spot. Great job Mr Hank

Its never a bad day when you upload Hank
There’s never enough of Pecos Hank. The best.
Makes me so happy to see Pecos Hank has a new interesting video to see
thank you for sharing with us Hank! Feeling a bit ill and your videos cheer me up as well as educate me
I love that you vocalize your getaway planning, the hazards nearby, and the tornado movement.
This is why the cameraman seems invincible. He films cautiously and is willing to keep distance between him and an unpredictable tornado.
Another gorgeously filmed and produced masterpiece.
Always good to see a posting from Pecos Hank!
Pecos Hank I love all your content. Amazing stuff!
Dude you are so lucky to have this job. I have always wanted to do something like this but it is dangerous. I am glad I get to experience this alongside you in video form.
Ever grateful
I'm just amazed by your whole work and effort put in filming tornados and chasing them. It's wonderful how something, perceived only as a danger, can transform into someone's passion. You are truly an artist and a brave man.
Keep going ❤❤️❤️
Seeing your hands shaking while you waited at the intersection at @3:05 was maybe scarier than any tornado footage I've ever seen. You're such a cool-headed person, and to see you shaking is like "ok there's REAL danger here". ((I can also relate to that anxiety, I feel it way too often for much less danger HA))
Thank you once again for your AMAZING videos! It's always a joy when you have something new! I'm glad you're safe!
The goat is back 💯
Sitting back and enjoying... Love your vids mate.
Yay! I just got here! So excited for another Hank upload!
Been missing these! Beautiful footage as always ✌️

Pecos Hanks' videos & Information NEVER fail to impress! Miss you PH!

It’s Pecos Hank, we should see nothing less than absolutely stunning from his Time-lapses :)
Once again, minimal commentary, educational, intriguing, and outstanding production value. Thanks, again, big guy.

I can't wait for more! This 2024 storm season has already been crazy!
Hank is by far the best and most entertaining storm chaser. So informative and expert videography!
Love the math! The nerd side of my brain wondered if a better word was "speed" rather than "velocity". Obviously the velocity changed, given that direction changed. However, even if the velocity changed in terms of direction, it was never "reduced" in terms of magnitude (speed).
Obviously it doesn't matter but this is just how my brain works I guess lol. Definitely doesn't take away from another quality video!

Love how your brain works. I did the math late at night. Can you spot my error?
I will jump into 1 Tornado for Every like this comment gets (EF5)
Pecos Hank is the most entertaining and skilled stormchaser.❤
I’ve been watching this dude for 10 plus years and he is easily the best storm chaser to exist.
Same here! Nearly ten anyways. I've followed him since the Pilger twins. I can't remember what year that was.
The very first time I'd heard of you, Hank, was just after El Reno. You have never disappointed me. Your work has a cinematic quality no one comes close to.
I know you’re a very humble man and I highly respect that but I just want to say that you are one of the best storm chasers and nature videographers ever to live
For me, being from Germany, it's always particularly interesting to watch Tornado Videos. We do have some here from time to time, but we lack the open landscape to observe them relatively well. It would be great, Pecos Hank, to occasionally see the weather in it's original sound and speed in the video, to get an even better impression. I am a big fan and look forward to every publication on this YT channel. Best regards from Germany."
had to go into a tornado warning because of this tornado and I knew Pecos Hank would be following
You are a living legend Pecos Hank.
Hank's voice is so clear and documentary-esque, that the closed captions actually do a very good job of relaying what he is saying. With that being said, it loves to call the tornadoes burritos...
BURRITO WARNING
So cool meeting up with your chaser buddies. I was surprised that debris was an EF2.
