I was never on board with the Dame trade. Not that I didn't think Bucs shouldn't trade for Dame but I was hoping they'd trade Middleton instead of Jrue Holiday. I get that they're both guards but both are completely different type of players. If I were the GM I would've traded Middleton and kept Jrue. I would've started both of them. Jrue could easily slide to the 2 and cover Dames defensive deficiencies and vise versa on the offensive end for Dame. Then when they hired Doc the lead blower Rivers I was defnitely against that. With the way Milwaukee wants to play I think it would be best to hire Mike D'Antoni. Imagine Dame & Giannis pushing the pace! Under the D'Antoni system they'd both thrive. Dame plays very similar to James Harden. Look at Nash before and after playin for D'Antoni. I can see Milwaukee immulating the Suns system when he coached them. The thing is it's not too late. Fire Doc and hire D'Antoni. That simple. Easy fix.

I think there's multiple factors to this, but I would say the number one factor is there them not fulfilling the role players as required for that roster after they lost through holiday but of course the loss of holiday is very very impactful like they were supposed to get bug on Bogdanovic on the roster a couple free agencies before he went to Atlanta they let go of Dante Dicenzo too so those are two cute role players that they lost and also the roster has gotten older and they haven't been able to draft or replenish them with the young guys who can contribute to the team so at this point, they may actually be cooked unless they make a trade of letting go some staples in the roster.

What they described about defensive impact is exactly how Gobert won so many DPOYs. The game is extremely complex and small wins matter over 48 mins.

The problem with the star player playing high level on both ends is it's not gonna last long. You might get a few good seasons of it but 1 side will falter. This isn't when MJ was playing and there weren't any other great shooting guards to work him several nights a week.

Yea that’s stupid. Everyone gets cooked by stars who get hot. They were looking for someone to blame and it was Jrue. That’s why Jrue went to Boston out of spite. He won’t admit it but you can’t tell me he didn’t feel good winning a ring while Bucks are falling apart. 😂

They looked better as a team against the C's. They just need to do it for 48 mins to secure the W. They still don't spread the ball around enough, but I'm sure Glen and Ham got a plan. Hard to stop somebody on defense when your bigs aren't in the paint.

I said it before and I’ll say it again… not the right team for Dame! Why? Bc they traded Jrue to get him!
Jrue was a low maintenance defensive prototype PG. Initiate offense, play defense, and doesn’t need 10+ shots.
If you look at NBA history with most high volume scoring PGs. They never were good defenders or average at best, rarely. The team was coached/ built in a way to mask it.
Dame was never gonna be a good fit unless Jrue stayed. The Buck truly should’ve went for a Kyrie/ Curry type PG.
Someone who has just as high output off ball like they do on ball.

The question is, did bossing get better because of Drew or did bossing it better because of presenius? You also have to think that Derrick White essentially moves the ball. The offense goes through. Derrick White most of the time he gets Tatum and brown open. Whereas before Marcus Smart handled the ball the boss to get better. Yes defensively I would say Marcus Martin Drew holiday do the same thing. The only difference is Drew can hit a shot and create his offense at a more efficient rate than Marcus Smart
