@@dezpotizmOFheavenstarfield runs on an old af frame rate bound engine, as are all other modern bethesda titles. The game can only max out at 60 fps regardless of hardware, but there ate very good mods to fix this. Give it a shot. You won’t regret it

It's the same for 3090 ti but for 2k, I could play 95% of the games on 1080p ultra settings with 3070(exceptions were alan wake and the last of us part 1)

if you have a SFF build i highly recommend saving a bit more for an RX 6400, its cheap compared to its counter part from nvidia with a minor difference in performance, i have it and i can run most games 1080P with decent fps if not +60 with mix of low/med (God of war, Elden ring, Red dead 2, Witcher 3, CS 2, Valo...)

it was not fully user error as nividia messed up with the connecter and it could literraly work while not connected all the way leading to burning but from what i've heard newer models of the connector have this fixed@@Alpine_flo92002

Have an EVFA GTX 1080 FTW 2 in my kid's build paired with a 3600X. Still surprises me seeing it run a 3440x1440 monitor so much of the time at or above 60fps. I have a 5800X3D/3080Ti and put an 5800X/RX 6750XT in the wife's machine. Hand me downs sttill work well!

it's only 2 years away from being 10 years ago. a lot changes in that time. for another comparison you can look at xbox 360 and ps3 gameplay compared to current gen console's gameplay
