Hello Krystle, I tried the mini video of which ones people like. It’s my first time doing it, and it looks like people are much more engaged! Thanks again!
Regarding repurposing, I’d like to suggest that you don’t always need to white wash the canvas (or whatever your medium) and start from scratch. I don’t necessarily mean give it a touch it up; Give yourself permission to completely rework the piece in a new bold way. Maybe try a new technique or deconstruct the original work, cut it up, set fire to it, take it off the stretcher and use it to bind a book or face a tote bag, it really doesn’t matter. Just use it as an opportunity to develop your art and try something creative outside your comfort zone.
I’ve done this for a couple of pieces, it’s fun sometimes to go back to them and just do something crazy and fun on there. You’re not worried about ruining it because it couldn’t sell anyway. And then if it doesn’t work out, just gesso go over it 🎨
One of the branches of my local library actually lets people borrow art just like the books. It's great for people who either can't afford to buy original art or for people who often change their styles. The artist gets some good exposure to their work, and if the library keeps a public ledger, the artist can even see how many times their art is rented. Thank you for sharing ❤
I’m just getting started (I did my first craft show earlier this year) and I’m already feeling like the pieces I made 6 months ago are not as high quality as what I’d like to do in the future.
That’s a great idea! I was also thinking maybe a goat related fundraiser for a nonprofit or something like that. I’m hoping that maybe I’ll sell it this year though. Keeping my fingers crossed!
you could sell it on ebay auction with no reserve theres an artist Jose Trujillo who sells like that churns out paintings daily 5 or 10 each day he does
Great idea! Never thought about selling it on eBay for no reserve. I have things on eBay and it takes a long time for them to sell, but my minimum bid is probably too high.
During this time of season, I usually use my unsold art pieces as a "gift-exchange" item at work or at parties.
That’s a great idea!
Very good tips. I am planning to do a studio clearance at my last in person even I have this year next month.

Yes shorts/vertical videos usually get a lot more views, especially for small or new channels :)

I like to paint directly over old paintings because i like the texture it gives.

That’s awesome! Never heard of a library doing that, wish ours did that :)

For the goat, see if any goat farmers or petting farm place would like it

This time of year just paint a Santa Claus hat or reindeer antlers on stuff and call it a Christmas painting. Just kidding
I love the billy goat!
Thanks 😊

Maybe gift your Mom an additional refrigerator so she has a new place to display more of your artwork.
