I will admit, that antenna analyzer seems INCREDIBLY redundant for an IC-705 setup. The 705 already has an SWR meter and a simple sweep function, which is more than what the chameleon analyzer does. Save yourself the extra weight and use the built in swr meter on the 705. Now if it was something like a RigExpert that showed you an actual antenna sweep then things would change.
@@JonathanKayne I agree with you except for when I am building a quick antenna and do not to use the 705. It could be as easy as quickly checking SWR on a 2m antenna that I just fabricated. Thanks for your opinion 😎👍
Overpriced is an understatement. This would have been an opportunity to furnish hams with branded carriable merch, instead they made it unobtainable for any vaguely sensible price (AUD$350). Got a 5.11 Rush 72 backpack for AUD$100 less instead. Ging to have to look into that DUP50 !
Awesome! There's a few things there I might need to pick up for my 705.
ENJOY!
thanks Sr great job and fantastic icom 705 73 from kb2uew

WOW activated all states! That must’ve cost a fortune to do. I’m working towards it as well.
@@truckinguy92 I was doing vacation trips over the last 3 years so racked up some states
Thanks for showing the back of the cage. I’ve been wondering if the larger battery would be protected.
My pleasure. 73

@@virtual812 I like options and rather spend funds on actual radio equipment than bags.
Nice! I really must take the K2 out sometime 😀. Cheers from Jon, GW4LJW.
You should! KX2 is an awesome rig
@@W1SRR I would like to get a KX2 or 3. I’ve got the much older K2 😀.
@@jonathanjenkins8630 If I were a CW operator I’d get the KX radios. I owned both the 2&3 and decided to go with the IC-705
