- I do a rereview of the Nubia Z50S Pro now that the global version is out this might be a very good phone to get. Sleeperphone or underdog of 2023 for sure.
I walk you through the highlight of this device which is the camera system and share my experience with you with its software.

The metal thing in the 🌴, its for drying wine bottles after rinsing, you stick the bottle necks on the spikes and excess rinsing water runs out. I just hope that they will release at least two major Android Updates. So much potential here but one update is just not enough today imo.

Hello.. and congratulations as always for the video.. Knowing that you have tried the Huawei p40 pro plus vs huawei p60 pro again. consider the Nubia or the Huawei p40 pro plus to be better on the photographic? Thank
The Nubia has the better main camera and unique 35mm perspective that the Huawei cannot give you. As for Zoom and ultrawide however the Huawei is a beast. But see my ranking here: llelectronics.neptuneos.com:8080
I have been using Z50Ultra for almost 1 year (a great experience) and decided to give a chance to Z50s pro (purchased at a pretty nice price) - and I can tell you that I was positively surprised with Z50s pro :
- screen seems to be higher quality, white color is "whiter";
- stereo speakers are much better: louder and richer sound;
- 35 mm is much better at white balance, especially at warm light at home (when z50Ultra was producing yellowish pictures);
- selfie is much better of course (especially video using mcpro 24fps);
- 8 mp telephoto surprised me with quality of the photos (considering resolution and sensor size), it has faster autofocus and shorter minimum focusing distance;
- UW and telephoto lenses produce better colors (closer to natural) in most of the cases;
Brother, I'm currently using Pixel 7 Pro, I'm satisfied with the camera but I do product photography, that's why I have a plan to buy Z50S Pro, what do you think ?
@@tisat07 I have no experience with pixel 7 pro... I would think Ultrawide and Telephoto cameras in z50s pro will be weaker in stock vs. Pixel, however gcam mode is improving photis on these 2 modules significantly.

Does your Z50S Pro have the audio progressbar in the audio notifications and on the lockscreen? It seems to be lacking on the global rom (only the play fwd pause buttons appear) no matter which music app is active and no matter whether the notification widget is expanded or not
Chinese ROM also does not have it. Just play pause button aswell as the rew ffwd buttons
@@lltechview Thanks for checking! 🙏 They should fix this imo. I thought this was a basic feature since android 10 and it got quite essential for me. Is there a way to request bugfixes/features from ZTE, or are you by any chance in contact with them for review purposes? Apart from that and some android 13 quirks (e.g. not copying filedate to usb anymore) aswell as the missing features/apps (e.g. gallery) from chinese rom on the global rom and no manual charging limit, it's an amazing device!

I actually do not know its global price range. So it depends how much it costs. Otherwise for the price of 600€ roughly (what I paid) its a bargain.
Camera quality is comparable these days. I have used devices so far. Camera is not far different. Just the matter the way you want.
599 on ebay for 12gb ram 1tb version i have it ... its around 629+ for the 16gb ram 1 tb version an like 550+ for the 12gb ram 256gb version ... hard to beat that price
So conclusion, that 35 MM main shooter is amazing, simply amazing and you probably won't get the sort of look it provides with any other phone, everything else is a bit um underwhelming I would say. However for the price I think this might be a great deal.
That's a contradictory statement. For the price, I would expect many of the features to be 'underwhelming' but it depends what you mean by that as that's quite subjective.
@@milpatel83 Well they are, the selfie cam, build, ultra wide, and more are underwhelming. The selfie cam is pretty bad, the build is not premium since it's not ip68 or even 67, the ultra wide is bad and the tele is probably worse than digital zoom from the main sensor. So yea it's bad. I wouldn't buy this phone.
With Nubia's Redmagic 9 Pro launching in just over a week, with a bigger battery and better processor, would you say the camera's here still make it the more appealing option?
What's the SOT of this one, too? I had the Redmagic 8S Pro (briefly!) and was getting about 10//11 hours of SOT.
Oh, and can you manually trigger the high megapixel mode? You couldn't do this on the Redmagic - it had an auto mode and you couldn't manually choose the higher megapixel mode
Do you (or anyone reading this) have any bugs with battery %? Mine sometimes freezes and a quick restart it goes down 2-3%.
No issues with that. Only turns itself off during Wild Life Extreme Test :P

Hast Du schon das Update auf MyOS 14 erhalten? Mein Stand der Google Sicherheitspatches ist Stand September 2023. Sehr enttäuschend.
Ich habe Oktober 2023 und auch noch MyOS 13 bei meiner chinesischen Variante. Ich hoffe die legen da bald nach. Sind aktuell busy mit dem Nubia Z60 Ultra und dem Nubia Flip. Ich erwarte aber MyOS 14 im Frühjahr noch. Vielleicht gibts zwischenzeitlich noch ein Update.
Nubia macht das beim Z60 Ultra momentan deutlich besser mit den Updates. Ich weiß nicht warum das Z60S Pro stiefmütterlich behandelt wird.

I considered Z60 Ultra (have been using Z50Ultra for 1 year) but display quality in Z60Ultra (degraded from z50U, it is calibrated in too warm white balance and too oversaturated colors) "killed" my willingness to purchase it @@lltechview

Mine arrived yesterday. i have to say the maincam is impressive.
It matched my mate60pro+ main camera quality😮 but only the main camera😅
UPDATE: after a deep test against the ma60pro+. picture quality flagship grade but, still lack behind the mate.
I feel like its on par with the iphone 5pro. sometimes better and viceversa. I think Nubia should work the software to make it more consistent.
there is gcam as well if you google it. the multi exposure shot also comes handy.
for me its the axon 30 ultra minus 1 zoom lens.. even has ALL the same issues like not being able to save a slow motion video so 5 seconds turns into 44 seconds when you put it on your pc or share to social media, because there is no PHYSICAL way to save it no matter how many times you move the bars around an thats just 1 issue... starting to get buyers remorse
ma60pro+ sharpened everything too much and sometimes things that don't exist, sharpness isn't everything. The 35 mm takes very good pictures, even better than Mate, but not always. Other sensors are clearly not worth mentioning.

Definitely the chinese variant. I am not sure about the global one.

No. I don't see any need for it.

@@lltechview from my point of view, watching the videos on a bigger screen, it looks as it has a much better quality than the zenfones do.... Although, I don't really know which phone would be fair to use to test against the selfie camera on the zenfones, as they have one of the worst image qualitie I have ever tried :-D I think it is possible that my old Sony Xperia X Performance, or maybe even one of my older Xperia Compact phones, might have better selfie cams than the zenfones

to me its the axon 30 ultra... minus a zoom lens. it has all the same issues including not being able to save slow motion videos. 3 generations of phones after axon 30 ultra an still cant save a slow motion video at all... you can move the sliders all day long but no PHYSICAL option to save it when done so a 5 second vid gets put on your pc an is now 44 seconds long ... no one wants that . im getting buyers remorse an thats not its only issue... like i said axon 30 ultra but missing 1 camera
Nah the Axon 30 Ultra has a way smaller main sensor.
@@lltechview 16mp though had more detail an both have ALOT of the same issues like the no save on slow motion videos. z50s pro is an upgraded version of axon 30 ultra minus 1 cam in every way. same issues same having to turn off 1 cam to use the other . an anything after 80mm in night mode so far cant focus properly at all. this is after the 1 update it got

Nubia Z-series are for Photography (35 MM is something unbelievable)
