I think leftie is a good choice. I feel like he really needs you. I don't know how bird rescues work, but his agression would probably keep him from ever getting adopted. I hope you can make a video about wing clipping, tho. It is also a very important topic.
Lefty, because I think it will be a really beneficial process for people who are maybe in a similar situation as his previous family and just don't know what to do. I also really like that you encourage the outlook that birds should be raised with the mentality of 'I want my bird to be able to flourish no matter what happens or where he/she ends up'. Your videos are amazing and you do a wonderful job, keep up the great work!

I have a male Quaker that just turned 1yo in May 2019. He is adorable but very territorial with his cage. He is a good talker. Beware of the mood swings! One second he is kissing me and 2 seconds later biting me. He's just a little guy with the biggest personality! So glad you are going to help Lefty so he can get a new home. Quakers are terrific companion birds!
I think over time it would be best to work with the Indian ring neck in addition to the quicker. You’ve shown many examples of working with a bird that is aggressive but I think it would be interesting to show you working with a bird that was damaged so drastically physically by humans. I think the story of this Indian ring neck or a bird with a similar physical condition caused by ignorant humans would be a really good story for the internet to have. It might bring some awareness to the harm we can do by being misinformed. Thanks and love you as always. You guys are the best.
Yes, I wish she could take both on. I think the ringneck will be a much less challenging subject and might not be as time consuming. Also, the Quaker will need a lot of down time I would think, as too much interaction would be overwhelming for him and might stunt his growth, so it might be good to have the little ringneck to work with in the quaker's downtime. I know that youtubers have to constantly keep grinding with the videos, so that might be a good way to stay fully stocked up. :p (Basically me making excuses as to why she needs two and not one :p)
I'm happy the Patrons chose Lefty. I have a Quaker and he is sweet and loving and I think Lefty needs love. I'm really looking forward to seeing you work with him. Would be great if you could help the Ringneck too.
I totally agree! Lefty is dealing with a heartache..That needs special care. The other bird needs help too, once it wings grow back you can take him on!!!
Thank you for working with the rescue organization to find Lefty a wonderful forever home. There aren't many (or any) legitimate training videos that address serious parrot aggression issues so it's great that you can provide this to your viewers. (Hopefully you can work with the Ringneck later down the line.)
I’m so glad you will be working with lefty. So happy you will be showing him some love. Sounds like he’s never been given a true opportunity to have a fun loving life with an owner who adores him! How sad. My 9 yr. old parrotlet just passed and I’m devastated. He was my world and I was his. Please show lefty what love is all about- good luck and you could use some prayer-you got it!!! Gail
Yes Leftie! I wanted him because I too believe that every bird can be helped. My first bird was a Quaker and I think they are so underrated. They talk about as well as African Grays and use language and tools. Super smart birds with a huge personality. Mine was named Smarty Pants because of his mischievousness. They truly are little green dragons. I'm so excited!!!
I so agree with you 💯. I have a Quaker and he thinks of new stuff and comes out with noises and words almost perfectly mimicked. He brings me joy every day.
Allen Earnest's answer was perfect. I, too feel the pull for Lefty, because, quite desperately, he needs you and your experience. Touche, what a doll, has a problem that will molt out (I would think) and as long as he gets supportive care from anyone knowledgeable, he'll be his gorgeous self and a great bird. Just my thought. Good Luck...glad you got Lefty. Looking forward to the process with you!
YES! They chose the right bird. I am Soooooo flipping happy your ppl are supporting you and you can stay home and DO THIS! LOVE IT! So excited for both you and lefty.
Yes, Lefty would be the one since he has some aggression. They are wonderful birds, to have. They can be funny, very talkative and talented. They love to fly and be with their person. They do have personality in which you will see this in him ! Glad that you are able to help him. Jaime you are a great blessing to birds and thank you and Dave for what you do to help them. Can't wait to see updates on him when you start work with the little guy!
Great choice in lefty. I have a demanding little 2 year old Quaker hen . She is an angel one minute and demon the next . You will have lots of fun and your heart will melt . Ange & Birdo x
Wow, guys! SO MANY of you want me to take on both and my patrons agreed so they gave me the idea of a new SPONSOR BIRD TIER on my patreon. You can support me there so that I am hopefully able to take on BOTH BIRDS by May 19 with enough support! Here is the link; www.patreon.com/birdtricks with all the details about what is in store for you for helping me achieve this amazing goal! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! A new video update will go up this weekend about how this works.
Go The quacker Jamie🌸I think he needs a more intense kinda learning where as the ring neck is a growth and health issues due to wing clipping. I think you could do a segment on the right way to clip birds and the ring neck is one good example. 🌸🌸
I'm picking up a swainsons lorikeet in February his wings are clipped he's only 3 and a half months old will his wings grow back normally as he ages so he can fly around my home normally?
I have 2 Quaker parrots and I would love to see you work with a quaker as both quakers I have are tough cases. One is extremely aggressive and is a one person lover and the other just wants to be left alone and was so emaciated when we rescued him. We've worked so hard with them and we still have a long way to go and I believe you will help us through your journey. So glad you chose Lefty.
I think both birds are very good choices, for different reasons. Lefty, because he needs love and care for himself, and the other because people NEED TO understand how to care for a parrot and not maim them for their own selfish reasons.
What I love most about you is that you make real differences in the lives of parrots and love your birds while still being a good example of how a human/animal relationship should look. All of those "bird mom" and "dog mom" people are insane and their animals aren't as happy as yours. They has no concept of boundaries. Keep it up. Also did you know we have a large population of Quakers here in central Texas?
There was no right and wrong choosing. Both parrots need support and I am very excited for Lefty. An online acquaintance dropped off two Quakers at my house and I was able to gain the trust of the one Quaker, but the female came from an abusive home, had a bad wing clip, and lost two of her toes and is very aggressive. I have both of them for almost 2 months and she is still aggressive towards everyone and anything. So I am very excited to see your journey with Lefty and learn more about how I can gain her trust
Absolutely the right choice. Helping Touche may change perceptions about clipping - but working with Lefty will change a birds life. From the explanation he sounds like he's battling his way through an unending tide of grief without anyone to listen or help. If anyone is able to understand, listen and communicate love back into his life it is you, Dave and Capri. I'm really looking forward to seeing the transformation you'll inspire in the little guy.
I'm so glad that you picked Lefty because, you have so much love to give him. I rescued a female Quaker approximately 15 years ago. She was 22 years when I took her in. I couldn't believe the woman gave her up because, her husband was I'll and said the bird was too loud! She passed away recently and I miss her so much. She was a joy to have and got along with all but, my African Gray so was not in the same room. My Umbrella Beau loved to spend time with her preening her so gently. The day that I knew it was her time to pass Beau spent her last hours with her. Must go for my tears are coming. Lefty's gonna be fine for you have the love for him. Just let him settle in for awhile and all will be fine. 🐦
Congratulation jamie for another good intention.. Patreons chose correctly for you left touch aggressive your love will make him feel normal... But somewhat in my mind felt that you should also adopted indian ring neck bird... This is my experience.. My friends mom raised indian ring neck bird some 15yrs ago, at that time ring necked birds are not banned to raise in home.. That bird name was chika he use to talk nice and follow his owner and they never clipped his feathers.. And he use sit on my lap and loves me too.. He is not aggressive but soft natured.. Every thing went fine.. Then our goverment banned indian ring neck bird to raise in home or to captivate and only exotic birds are allowed... Forest department came and seized chikka.. He talked to officers that he wont come he wont come... But nothing to do.. They put him in a sanctuary... Because of worries and despair not able to see his beloved owner... He died two days later... Still i cant digest it.. Then my friend mom died after six months because she slipped from balcony while thinking about chikka.. I love them but cant raise them... This is my first bird connection.. Then i started raising roosters.. Please adopt touche some time later. People need to educate about bird clipping... Excited to see lefty.. Is he a left legged bird? How is morgan now? Thanks for informing us..🙏
Personally, i would love you to take on both birds since they both had a special need that would be great to help them with. I’m very excited for this journey and hope after Lefty, you are able to take on The Indian Ringneck as your next project. The experience I had with Quaker parrots was my Aunt’s male quaker named TRIX, who was very aggressive and would bite due to my uncle inhibiting the behavior of biting by always poking him and such, thus Trix believed this was play. With my aunt and her daughter, Trix was very loving and playful. He was super talkive and learned to say “TE PICO!” (Spanish for “I’ll bite u!”) and “AL QUE TE PICO (i’m gonna bite you) before he would lunge to bite. Trix would bot let anyone but my aunt and her daughter pet and touch him. I used the Birdtricks Power Pause tactic on him in a span of 2-3 days and I was able to pet his head and interact with him without him wanting to bite me. They are smart birds Unfortunately my aunt and uncle didnt follow through with the training to train the aggressiveness out of Trix and Trix continued his aggression to the point he was rehomed =,( But quakers are very amazing birds and when trained right, very loving and playful. Amazing talkers and look so cute and pudgy when they puff up in happiness.
Jamieleigh, both birds would benefit from your rare talent, to really understand birds. I have learned so much from bird tricks videos. Still struggling with my irn but she has all the love in the world & how ever long it takes, she's here for life xx
I personally would have liked to see the IRN because while it's great that you are going to transform the confidence of lefty, it's a very common case. Every time I tell people I have birds people always respond with "oh they're meeeeeean" birds being aggressive and hating everyone is unfortunately very common and I think taking on a rarer case such as a butchered clip would have been more educationally valuable.
I'm really glad to know you'll be working with Lefty because my husband's family just recently fell into the possession of two Quaker parrots from other family and neither of them have ever been socialized, handled or properly cared for. I feel like we can all learn a lot on what to do with these new birds through your journey with Lefty
I think it’s a good choice and your proven patience and soft touch is exactly what Lefty needs to learn to love and trust again! So excited to see this series Jamie!
I'm so glad you decided to work with lefty :) Quaker parrots are a soft spot for me. I'm sure you know this, but something to note (about males in particular) is that they tend to be EXTREMELY cage territorial. Most Quaker owners will get their birds to step up onto a stick to get out of their cage in order to avoid provoking aggression. I personally never had that issue with my Quaker, but she appears to be the exception 😂
Elizabeth McCullum ooo interesting! I have heard they can be extremely nesty and territorial moreso than other species so that’ll be of interest to me! 💚🦜
I work at a shelter and we had a blue Quaker in that was very cage territorial. She absolutely refused to step up out of her cage unless you scooped her and she felt that she had all around support. Probably not the best, but it was enough to get her adopted and into a really good home. And HOLY CRAP ARE THEY SMART!! They pick things up soooo quickly
OMG, I am so HAPPY Lefty was the one picked. Although the Indian Ringneck would have been great too and what was done to his wings was horrible. I feel Lefty really need you and your loving attention.
If you want to clip a birds wings, you have the wrong pet. Birds have wings, it’s the only thing going for them. If you are getting a bird just to clip their wing, get a dog or any other animal for crying out loud.
Why get a dog of it's going to be on a leash... that comment is so stupid! It's being a responsible owner. If the house isn't big enough, it'll keep the bird from injury and possibility of flying away. People leave doors open when getting groceries etc.
@@latinmarineBeing on a leash in public doesn’t stunt a dog’s development, they can still use their muscles and nose on a leash, and they can be let loose in dog safe areas.
@@nathd1400Having clipped wings sounds like it’d be more detrimental in escaping dogs in that situation. I think multi-species households just don’t work for parrots though.
Clipping a bird is just cruel period! Just cause you wanna make a bird a pet doesn't not make it a bird! They fly and people wonder why they'd pull their feathers out and be pissed off cause they can't freaking fly right. That's so sad they butchered that poor baby! I agree don't get a bird if your gonna cut off parts of their dang body! I don't even own a bird but I'd love to have one but I hate to see them clipped! Don't they have bones in their wings and such I mean I just don't get why anyone would do that to an animal.
I just came across your channel, yesterday. So much love to you, your family, and all the birds. I miss our Quaker parrot soooo much! She was our first (and only) bird. We adopted her from our young, raver kid, neighbor, who was getting a divorce and moving, and felt like moving a cute bird in a large cage, a long distance, was too difficult. He just gave her away. It took a couple days for her to trust us, but afterwards, my father and I had both built a great relationship with her. When we first adopted her we were told she was a male. We had no idea what shock awaited us. One day after having her for quite a while, she started acting really grouchy. She's been so sweet before, and I couldn't figure out what was going on. Shortly thereafter, she'd laid an egg in her cage! Surprise - not a male! Hah The next time her egg cycle came around, she flew out the front door! We were devistated. A couple months later, I was pumping fuel at the gas station near our home... Guess who flew down from a palm tree?! Yep! It was her! She saw me pumping gas, and flew up to say hello, and to let me know why she left. It turns out, she was nesting in the palm tree by the street corner where the gas station was located. We lived on an island where there were a small number of Quakers. On a rare occasion, one could see a few flying around the island. She'd left to start a new season of her life, as a momma. It would seem that she paired with one of the wild parrots, and they started a family. She flew back and forth between me and palm and showed me that was where she was nesting. Although I couldn't see that high, I could hear the precious chirps of babies coming from the palm tree. 🐣🌴 That was the last time I saw her. It was such a sweet, and beautiful moment. I'll never forget it. The flock on the island has since grown and flourished, their wild numbers are coming back, and I like to think she helped make that happen.💚 Before she came into our lives, I'd only ever had one previous experience with a bird...it was traumatizing! My mother had been dating a man who had a few birds. On the first day of meeting him at his home, we were casually sitting on the couch in the living room. His big white bird was hanging out, with us, on the back of the couch. Out of nowhere, this psycho bird ran down my arm and chomped a triangular (1cm) chunk out of my right leg! Great first experience, right?! 😱😭 It was a sulfur crested cockatoo...It's like the bird is extremely energetically sensitive, but reacts with the exact opposite of empathy. It was psycho! .. Truly traumatizing. Our Quaker helped me to heal from that traumatic experience, and showed me the beautiful relationships which can be possible with birds (even when they're grouchy). And we helped her heal and thrive dispite having come from a chaotic, smokey, loud, home where fighting happened almost daily. I'm so grateful for, "Bird" coming into our lives, and while I'm delighted to know she's made a fantastic life for herself, I miss her dearly. 😘🐦😢💚
Wife and I have Quaker and they are absolutely amazing and intelligent. I'm so happy that you picked the Quaker. I grew up with Cockatiels and budgies. I've had many birds but the Quaker and budgie are still my favorite.
Jamieleigh, I think I can speak on behalf of most of your fans when I say you are a wonderful person to do this, first of all, I agree with your patreon subscribers, that Lefty is the correct choice. He just wants love and a chance for a better life.. You can give him that. I just think you and Dave are the most wonderful people for what you do. Good luck
I adopted a neglected 12 year old Quaker 2 years ago. We're now best friends. Quakers are "builders" so I made an area where she can arrange foot toys and chopsticks. It keeps her very busy. Good luck with Lefty!
Yay! I am so excited to see you work with Lefty! My mother and I had a Quaker surrendered to us in my twenties. Neither of us had any experience with birds. This meant a lot of our interactions were through trial and error. Petey sadly passed away unexpectedly while I was away one weekend. I never knew why. My mother has never be able to talk to the event either. Knowing what I know now from your education on diet, I am sure that had something to do with his passing. During my short time with him, I found him to be one of my favorite companions. Petey was very smart and was very eager to play/learn new things. My favorite game with him was peek-a-boo. During our bonding times, we would play rounds of peek-a-boo where I would place a piece of fabric over him and remove it for him to say peek-a-boo. As adorable as he would be saying words and phrases, we quickly discovered how noisy this little bird can be. Quakers as a breed have a locator call similar to your sun conures. Not having him on a good schedule for his to be out of his cage, he would often start calling as soon as one of us came home. Some days were better than others. His noise level certainly increased when he started developing his sexual urges. Quakers are also very territorial. We were not able to reach into his space / cage without him becoming aggressive. I found ways around this when it came for him to be out of the cage. Just by allowing him to come out on his own, rather than reaching in was the preferred method. My experience with him developed my love for birds and quest to seek more knowledge on how to properly care for a bird for a companion. In my quest for knowledge, I came across your TH-cam channel and have been watching you ever since. You have been one of leading sources of information for Birds and bird care that I regularly go to. I have learned through you how to properly interact with birds and become an educated potential future bird caretaker. I now feel confident in making a thoughtful an educated decision if I were to choose to bring another bird into my home. Thank you for that! Best of luck with Lefty! I am looking forward to watching your interactions with this temperamental little guy. I am very excited to see work with Lefty
I think they made the right choice I cant wait to see the videos you make with him I used to have a quacker named romeo and he was the sweetest guy around and loved kisses from people he liked everyone but loved my dad the most
I agree that Lefty will benefit most from your knowledge. He needs someone like you to help him with his grief and anger. I look forward to seeing his journey!
Seeing this video AFTER seeing how close Lefty and Capri are youd never guess he ever had anger issues! They're 2 peas in a pod lol Its adorable. Now hes such a sweet boy.
Love that you are helping out a rescue so they can help these birds find loving homes such a great idea. I'm super glad you picked lefty. He sounds like one of my rescue dogs from years ago & watching him come out of his shell of hate he put up to protect himself was so cool I'd can't wait to watch you do the same thing with Lefty.
I agree with tank experiment. Work with one and then the other later. Lefty seemed more unhappy, but the ringneck needs needs help too and could help spread awareness that would benefit other birds/bird owners.
I’m so happy the Quaker was chosen. I just got a male Quaker! I feel there is not enough videos on working with Quaker’s, so looking forward to seeing your progress.
I just want to let you know you probably saved my baby's life! I saw your video on the African Grey that passed due to poor diet and I have now completely changed my baby's diet. I thought just a little snack here or there wont hurt but now i know the TRUTH! I also made a veterinarian appointment to get blood work done as a further precaution. Mazie is showing no signs of anything but I have to be safe rather than Sorry. Thank you for sharing all you do with us❤❤
Wish you could help them both, personally i just got a pair of ringnecks that have been neglected and abused. Love the channel cant wait to see this journey unfold. Keep up the great work.
Lefty is a good choice. I want to learn more about them and as a pet bird. I fell for one on a visit. Never wanted a bird until I discovered they can be trained to fly and don't have to be clipped. Good luck! 🐦
Leftie the Quaker is a good choice. Quakers are frequently abandoned...they can be super tough little birds, but they are my favorite! I have a rescue Quaker and have had a baby Quaker from a good breeder also. Can't wait to see how this goes and what I c a n learn from watching!
I think both! You’ll change Lefty’s life- which I’m totally for. I also feel like working through the wingclip video will reach more birds the world over.
Oh your the BEST!!! I want to foster birds! I'm a bird person. My little parakeet died new years day and I literally cry at least once a day.. I agree NEVER clip a birds wing!! They are meant to fly..
Yay! I can't wait to see Quaker videos! I have a 1yr old male Quaker. I have been hoping you would do some smaller parrot videos. I find that my Quaker is quite protective of his cage (particularly at meal times), and takes a while to warm up to other birds (he can be a bit of a bully towards my budgies and I have to supervise outside cage time closely). On the other hand he is a joker, a fantastic talker and loves to train. He was challenging to teach to wave as he is pretty springy and used to jump towards me so I found that a bit different to your videos with larger parrots. He is so much smarter then any other pet I have ever owned. I can't wait to see some of the things you do with Lefty!
Good choice, he looks like he needs the most help emotionly and mentally. I have a little Quaker, I've had him for 12 years and I love that little guy so much! I've taught him around 13 tricks and is pretty social, except not for children. He use to love everyone but awhile back some kids were over and got him out without my permission and supervision and he's never liked kids since.
I have an IRN and shes very sweet, smart as a whip but alittle territorial where her space is concerned. I do not clip her wings so I am happy you said something about that. Poor little Lefty needs your help now. He looks so upset.
I initially would have wanted you to select the Ringneck, until I heard each story and changed my mind to the Quaker. Good luck. Do us proud as we know you will. Cant wait to see.
Yes I'm so happy they chose lefty.. I feel he needs it so much and I'll be taking in 2 Quaker parrots who are in similar situations.. this lesson is goin to be huge for me.. so thank you!
I'm so pleased you chose lefty! I made a hasty decision to get a Quaker parrot when I was a teenager and still feel guilty about the inadequate environment I provided for her and the fact that I didn't consider her lifespan and the fact that there was going to be no way for me to keep her when I went away to college. She was such a character (and remains so! My aunt, an experienced "parrot person", took her in when I did go away to school, bless her). Quakers have a special place in my heart, and it will be a balm to my aching conscience to watch Lefty's journey in your excellent care.
Since the ring neck doesn't have aggression issues, I feel like someone else could work with it to help it along. Although an in depth video about wing clipping would be amazing. I'd love to have that info. But I think the Patreon ppl made a good choice. Your project bird videos are my favorite. Can't wait!!!!
I personally think no wrong choice is available here, I think at this moment Left needs you more then Touche does. I can't wait to watch another in depth series like Morgan, it was my favorite because you showed absolutely everything, bringing her to your home, letting her settling your success, failure, building blocks and successful completion, it was amazing.
Lefty was a great choice, and I’ll definitely follow your work closely! My IRN has similar problems and I’ve been working with her for a while, and would like to see what you do. I’m looking forward to it!!
I think they made the right choice. So looking forward to seeing your journey with Lefty. You Dave and Capri are awesome. One of my all time favorite Bird Tricks videos has got to be Capri "training" Chi Chi❤️. Thank you for all you do for the bird community. Can't wait to meet Lefty!!

I'm happy the Patrons chose Lefty. I have a Quaker and he is sweet and loving and I think Lefty needs love. I'm really looking forward to seeing you work with him. Would be great if you could help the Ringneck too.
Why not both ?!?!?! They are two poor souls that beed YOU !!!
I think Lefty needs your HELP more, just my opinion. Congratulations Jamie. Thank you for sharing. Can't wait to see the future Lefty videos.
Gail
I really want an Indian ringneck myself, so it would be cool to see one on your channel
Jasper_Tree - watch ring necks strange back leaning behavior before you get one... it’s really bizarre....
@@annalisa14 - Yeah, I've never seen any other kind of parrot do that weird lean. I think it's kinda funny, but I've only see it on videos.
Anna Lisa the leaning back makes me want one even more. It’s so stinking cute lol
Trust me they are extremely jealous when ever I am using my phone he starts stealing it and tries to hide it
I can't pick! Both deserve to be happy and well adjusted. All animals do. You're a great person for your love and compassion.
Not a bird owner, senior citizen, your channel is one of three I subscribe. Thank you
Ringneck .. no particular reason OTHER than we have them living wild around Windsor UK where I live and I LOVE them.
I think you should take on the Quaker Parrot, your such and awsome person!! I wish good health to your birds and family!!💙💙💛💛💚💚💜💜🧡🧡❤❤
THANK YOU FOR THE EXCELLENT MESSAGE ON WING CLIPPING!
Ringneck! Omg yes please 🙏 it’s be a great birthday present to see you work with a Bird like mine. His wings are clipped.
Thank you for what you do. I recently lost my rehab bird after 15 magical years. I'm never going to get over it. He was my greatest love.
Both birds are good I say get both of them ....
I love how u explain what to do in simple ways. Love your passion for birds.thankyou
Ringneck girl they're so good but noisy I don't really see and advice on ring necks
Ethan Brazier Ringnecks are absolutely crazy 🤣 very temperamental, especially if you aren't their "favourite"
Thanks for informing us..🙏
NAVEEN RAJ sorry for your losses💔🖤😢
Lefty. Yes. Don’t be nervous- you got this. Can’t wait.
They are smart birds
Unfortunately my aunt and uncle didnt follow through with the training to train the aggressiveness out of Trix and Trix continued his aggression to the point he was rehomed =,(
But quakers are very amazing birds and when trained right, very loving and playful.
So excited for this next series, y'all have seriously been killing the content game lately and what you do is so incredibly important and wonderful!
***THESE ARE BOTH SUCH HEARTBREAKING STORIES I WISH YOU COULD HELP THEM BOTH***
I'm really glad to know you'll be working with Lefty because my husband's family just recently fell into the possession of two Quaker parrots from other family and neither of them have ever been socialized, handled or properly cared for. I feel like we can all learn a lot on what to do with these new birds through your journey with Lefty
Lefty, because he sounds so pitiful, and I think you can really help him!
Quakers are amazing birds. They are SO crazy smart and full of personality - I can't wait to see the upcoming series with Lefty!
OMG, I am so HAPPY Lefty was the one picked. Although the Indian Ringneck would have been great too and what was done to his wings was horrible. I feel Lefty really need you and your loving attention.
Ringneck!!!!! We are bringing home a baby ringneck at the end of may ;-)
They chose correctly! No one better than BirdTricks to work with a severe behavior issue so this bird has a chance for a happy life!
I am not a patreon but I would love to see the case of the Indian Ringneck!
I am glad lefty is the one that was picked cause you will be able too show that any bird can be a good bird
People leave doors open when getting groceries etc.
my birds have their wings clipped because i have indoor pet dogs and i wouldnt want my dogs to try to injure my birds and for the birds to not escape
Hah
The next time her egg cycle came around, she flew out the front door!
That was the last time I saw her. It was such a sweet, and beautiful moment. I'll never forget it.
The flock on the island has since grown and flourished, their wild numbers are coming back, and I like to think she helped make that happen.💚
Before she came into our lives, I'd only ever had one previous experience with a bird...it was traumatizing!
If I was selfish I'd say they picked wrong, but he has a broken heart. He needs healing.
I was so shocked about the destiny of leftys owner 😥 I hope his family is healing as well.
You are amazing! Doing all of those for the birds! Wow! 👍👍👍❤❤❤
I agree with tank experiment. Work with one and then the other later. Lefty seemed more unhappy, but the ringneck needs needs help too and could help spread awareness that would benefit other birds/bird owners.
both. they both need you and need the amazing things u can do for them
I'm very happy that Leftie is the one! (I see them free so many places, in Spain!) 💞🐦
I'm planning to get a quaker, I've heard they're very smart birds and good talkers and very friendly with people with of course good training.
Those project birds are gold
I'm so glad you will be working with Lefty
I’m so happy the Quaker was chosen. I just got a male Quaker! I feel there is not enough videos on working with Quaker’s, so looking forward to seeing your progress.
I just want to let you know you probably saved my baby's life! I saw your video on the African Grey that passed due to poor diet and I have now completely changed my baby's diet. I thought just a little snack here or there wont hurt but now i know the TRUTH! I also made a veterinarian appointment to get blood work done as a further precaution. Mazie is showing no signs of anything but I have to be safe rather than Sorry. Thank you for sharing all you do with us❤❤
So happy Lefty is getting to work with you! Quakers are wonderful loving birds, and to see one so sad and devastated is heartbreaking.
I'm just really excited about your new project and am glad that you help another bird and so many people by simply showing how it's done correctly. :)
Good luck! 🐦
Indian ring neck...luvluvluv the way they sway they’re sooo cute to me!
So excited to hear your going to work with Lefty. It sounds like he really needs some help, and if anyone can do it, its you!!
The ringneck pictures brought tears to my eyes, I would go for him and then the Quaker cause they both deserves love.
I have Quakers, beautiful but sure can scream !!!! Take both at some time. You both do a wonderful job with all birds.
Ring neck. Such beautiful birds.
The bird you feel best with is the best one to chose. !
Lefty was a great choice, and I’ll definitely follow your work closely! My IRN has similar problems and I’ve been working with her for a while, and would like to see what you do. I’m looking forward to it!!
Riiiing neck !!!! They are sooo much fun!! So talketive!! But whatever one needs you most !!
Gamaw 52 I know she will be excited by Lefty’s size so hopefully I can bring him to a place to work with Capri someday 💚💚💚
