So I see how you doing yours that's really nice but I knew it would take long so I did a two strand twist because I was curious to see how long it would take my hair to lock and within 6 months my hair was really locking and it's been doing wonderful ever since I just love it I really do
So I started my journey in January with micro twists, but I'm feeling like a take down and restart is in order, especially after getting in that scalp and seeing that grid 🤔😂 and my twists are very frizzy, I need root to tip interlocking to combat the frizz. Beautiful work 👏💛
I took my locs out after three months, because I realized I want mines smaller. Hers look so bomb! I was feeling bad about restarting, but your comment let’s me know I’m not alone. Yay! Good luck with yours!

Wow I'm so happy that was a long time 7 days I know your arm was tired I actually did my hair and one day with two strand twists but it took me about 2 hours maybe three cuz I tend to flatten twist really fast so yeah about 3 hours I was watching some Lifetime on TV

I have been having slippage in the front so I'm going to try your idea to put the rubber bands on just that section during wash day and see what happens. Thanks so much for sharing with us. I eyeballed it mostly but still used my tool to verify here and there.
So you basically have 1 inch by 1 inch squares and have 16 1/4 inch locks in each square, correct?
