    Please listen to his song Nate, he shares more of his story even speaks on his dad for a minute, it is audio only but you won't be disappointed. Oh and yes he is singing, if you want to hear him singing more on a track check out his song/ video Happy.

    My 12yo stepdaughter showed me this song not long ago. She and her two sisters lost their mom to an overdose after years of addiction last January. It kills me. RIP to their beautiful mom, im so sorry you lost that battle. They love you so much. ❤

    This was the first song from NF I listened to years back. My friend told me about this song on our way to go see Andy Mineo concert. He shared this song cause I was sober for 4 or 5 years at that time. Now coming up on 12 years. Unfortunately no children but I 2 Nieces that are close to me and that relationship is special with them.

    Subbed to ya for being Real. In a world full of fakes being real is a rare sight and I pray you stay keep staying true to yourself homie. NF will change your life bro, no fucking lie. Listen to this mans words and you'll realize just how truly inspirational he is. I swear bro, it's like God has truly blessed us all with this mans music and it finds you when you need it most. Stay strong, but more importantly stay humble brother. God Bless you, and all that you hold dear to you. You said some wise words for a young man, it's important that we remember to be grateful for all that we have because there's so many who are less fortunate. You'd be wise to continue remembering that, especially when life gets tough. If I may recommend a track, I'd really be stoked if you checked out "Remember This", "I Miss The Days ", "Know", and "Only", Those are my absolute favorite tracks, I miss the days is probably my favorite. Something about it just hits home for me, the second favorite is remember this. Song gets me pumped up to tackle whatever lifes throwing at me. Looking forward to seeing another reaction to NF from you. Peace.

      I cried the first time I heard I Miss The Days I just happened to be going through something difficult and it became one of my favorites by NF. Another one I love by him is Running he is an amazing artist. ❤

      @@Brenda12911 I'm glad you truly listened to it and enjoyed it, hopefully they were tears of joy recognizing you're not alone. Don't feel bad that you cried, I did as well. Honestly that song tore me to shreds cause it resonated so deeply with every fiber of my being.

    • @Brenda12911
      @Brenda12911 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@TheRealMikeDrop they were both tears of sadness and of not feeling alone. Unfortunately it's been several years and I'm still in that difficult time haven't found resolution yet. It's not so much going back in time for me it's more when he says,"give me my mind back" that's what I want to get my mind back when it wasn't my enemy. It's obvious NF is very intentional on how and what he says it explains the human condition perfectly.

    • @MsBunnyDarko

      @Brenda12911 HI, u just wanted you to know I too cried when I heard that, especially the part you referenced. My heart felt like it was going to explode from the pain of loneliness. I too am still fighting my demons (mostly a combination of panic disorder, depression, ptsd, and agoraphobia), but we are still here and there is hope for you. You don't have to be alone in this. You just have to do a very brave thing and try accept that people can love you and care for you. I know it's hard to accept kindness but I want you to know i am proud of you and that you are not a failure in any way. You are worthy of love and joy, and that goes to anyone else who mthis.day read this. Have a beautiful day

    • @Brenda12911
      @Brenda12911 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @MsBunnyDarko thank you for your kind words. It's not an affliction of my mind it's more an affliction of someone else's doing. I feel love from others, and for the majority of it, I'm ok. You just control how others' actions affect you, and apparently, that person doesn't care what they do. When in a relationship where someone does that to you, especially one that has extended decades, it isn't easy to walk away. I personally can't when there has been more time where it wasn't like that, so for me, I've invested so much of myself and don't want to let go just yet. It can fuck with your mind from time to time you have to get your mental sorted all just to deal with it until they either realize and stop or until you've had enough. Life is hard we are all going through our own trials. Stay strong you can endure and will be just fine.

    NF addresses in his new album Hope a song called Mama where he is today about his Mama! He’s come a long way with healing❤This song is hard to listen to but an important NF song 🎶on his journey! Gotta do his song Nate to learn more about NF. He and his wife have a 2 year old son and in December had a baby girl.

    Left my mom's house at 12 because she was abusive. Tried to have a connection with her till I was 21 when she threatened my life. Lost my dad in the early 2000's when I was 19 to complications of pill addiction. This song always hits me so hard. 💔

      My biological father abandoned me before I was born, my stepfather came into the picture at 3 months old and abused the hell out of me and my older brother and my mom allowed it. Still married to him. Y'all can say whatever but no 10 year old should have to stand in a corner for 14 hours straight for days on end until they pass out and end up with a concussion. That was my reality. So I made myself homeless at 13 and it caused me to end up in so many other horrible situations it ruined my life. Found my bio dad when I was 23 just to have him tell me exact words " you"re not worth knowing after 23 years." I made the best out of myself with what I was given. That is just the tip of an iceberg bigger than what sunk the Titanic.I will say this. Want honesty? At 19 years old I became a hospice/ caregiver and did that for 15 years until I couldn't handle watching people die any longer. Now? I'm an alcoholic. I have no family, and that part of my life was gone before it even had a chance but I wasted the better part of my younger years trying to love them even though they didn't love me and never will. Look up the word Hiraeth. That is how I feel every day of my life. But I also am proud of what I made it through and never gave up. They say it is better to have loved and lost than to have never lived at all. That is not true, because everyday of my life I would rather wonder than feel the unbearable hurt that I feel. Perhaps both equal but different. Give me orphan at birth never knowing. I would have done better and more in life. 😪

    His mom passed away qhen he was 18. She was in and out of his life. He has 2 younger sisters. Their dad had to step in and take temporary custody for awhile because Nate's mom's boyfriend was beating on him (you'll hear about that in the song "Mansion"). His grandparents also helped to raise them.

    You got to do the song Mansion to understand what it's like in his mind in a way...but Nate does it like no body else can! And the videos are truly like mini movies 🎬...even though you don't really need them bc he is such an amazing storyteller and paints such a clear picture! He's unreal! #Outcasts
    Ps, he had everyone leave the studio so he could just cry it out and then finished it by himself 😢
    Yes, he sings and plays the piano too...unless there's a name, it's him singing. Yes he lost his mom to an od...you really need to do "All I Have"!!!! He explains why he does this and who he is...
