Read Lock every door last month and really enjoyed it. I couldn´t decide which Sager book to read next, but after watching this I will definitely go for Last time I lied.

A video of the Disney books and maybe like their true back stories would be an interesting video! Could you provide the name and author of the ones you read? I didn't know they had books like that, I thought they just kid version books existed!

Love your videos, I've finally gotten back into reading after a 5 year slump, and it's thanks to you 🖤

If you liked The Little Mermaid, I would recommend you check out the horror movie The Lure. It’s basically a Polish musical that borrows heavily from the original story.

I’ve only recently discovered your channel, and it’s great. I think I came across it a few weeks ago. I’m a major literary bookworm, but my taste lie more in classical literature and modern classics. Although our tastes may vary, I love your passion for the horror genre. Because I love horror in general, I just don’t read very many books in the genre.
I can see your channel really blowing up, tbh, you’d deserve the subscribers. Since you can tell how much effort you put into your content.

I can hear you so much better, whatever you did keep doing it!
I've been really into riley sager recently, i just read The House Across the Lake and loved it! That one is also a great summer read.

Your video got me envious and excited about reading again. I've been out of the loop, but your review of "The Last Time I Lied" by Riley Sager makes me want to jump back in. You're so right about how one book can impact your view of others; it's a perspective I'll consider when I start reading again. Also, I love that you're exploring the darker, original versions of fairy tales like "The Little Mermaid." It's amazing how different they are from the Disney adaptations. Thanks for the nudge to get back into reading!

Hi Anda, loving the videos, I would like to recommend a few books to you, firstly 33-AD by David McAffee, think days of the crucifixion blended with vampire assasins ! Next is The Silent patient by Alex Michaelides, a quick read thriller with an ending I really did not see coming and finally The One by John Marrs which is also a thriller with many twists and turns. Netflix made The One into a series which was totally rubbish but the book had me hooked !!! Ps sound is fine here in UK 🇬🇧 xx

I’m loving your channel and recommendations. I preferred Lucy Foley’s previous books to The Paris Apartment. I liked the Paris one but I didn’t enjoy it as much as The Guest List.

I wanted to say I love your channel and it’s inspiring me to read more often (and thanks for not being a horror prude like many on Reddit). I just finished Last House on Needless Street. I loved it and miss the characters. I’m starting my first Darcy Coates book. Lots of people seem to love her so I figured why not.

If you enjoy well written emotionally engaging psychological horror thrillers I recommend the novella Blue World by Bob Mcammon about a dark love triangle between an adult actress, a priest & her stalking serial killer...

Greetings from north of the white wall.. I just wanted to thank you for your excellent and entraining videos. What I love about book tube is you guys are always bringing to light books I never heard of an also keep me away from books I would not like. I am glad you took the bullet and read some of these extreme horror books, so I do not have to. I was wondering about your trademark greeting at the beginning of your vids. Is that a nod to Bewitched ? Lastly I just wanted to give you a heads up about this months Rue Morgue magazine, probably in my humble opinion, the best horror mag out there. I thought you may enjoy a few articles. The first one is about novels that should be made into movies. The second is about movies made from novel that should be remade. Lastly there is an article about Chuck Palahiuk's new novel. Maybe some ideas for future vids. Take care and keep on reading

I'm listening to The Ruins on audiobook for the first time and I'm reading the 3rd Dark Tower book by Stephen King. 'Playground' by Aron Beauregard just came in the mail and I might save that one for my October read. You should read Pinocchio! I've read some of the old fairy tale and it's so messed up.

Thank you! I think any Darcy Coates book is a good place to start. They're mostly really mild, fast paced and just fun. Voices in the Snow was the first one I've read from her and I've been addicted ever since.

In August I have read just very few books, most of them anthologies with very short horror stories... But usually when I'm working on a new book, I happen to avoid reading all that much, unless when I get books from different genres.
But August itself was not really the best of the months, and probably September will be pretty much the same. 😕
