One of the best Pokémon figures I own! And it’s my favourite Pokémon ( sucks it can barely stand without the stand ) my figure isn’t that loose. Mine actually has very tight joints Edit 1: wow in 2 weeks 109 likes! 🔥thanks everyone
So, if youd ever want to give Ceruledge another shot, bandai is coming out with a model kit version of it in April, i do believe. I dont know what your personal take is on models, but I love them!
There's upcoming Bandai Model kits of both Meowscarada and Ceruledge here slated for 2025. Bandai tend to kill it when it comes to their pokepla figures if all you want is a good static display of a Pokémon. I definitely recommend them.
Basically all figures in this line are such a cool consept but....all have a mixture of of all of issues such as loose joints, thin joints leaidng to stress as soon as any movemet or pressure, missing articulation completely in some areas or hinges to not block movement such as this figures front armor blocking the legs from going far forward.
@ not sure I just remember during the scarlet and violet release seeing something like the guy who did the megaman zero designs worked on the design for them. I forgot what article it was.
@@Ky_Shiryu I just know him back then when he designing venipede and shelmet line 2, of my most favorite bug type pokemon from gen V He's really great at designing cool loking pokemon And I started digging his work again after found out that he also the one that designing charcadet line, that's my fav rn
The only thing I can think of making it so it can stand is by adding a extra joint thats tighter (as to not make the joint useless and fall over again) to its feet with a clear plate that has a joint pointing upwards to feet.
if able i'd definitely try to exchange him because my Ceruledge figure is definitely not that bad in the joints. the standing is definitely a challenge but yeah definitely just seemds to be a bad copy joint wise.
I'm still waiting for the tinkaton figure and it would be cool if her hammer was heavy. Also i remember getting a flygon from this toy line and one of it's eyes was upside down. And you couldn't tell because that side was covered in the box
This figure looks so awesome, it’s unfortunate you had so many problems with it, though I gotta ask arnt you nervous at all when you do any shots with fire
I actually just did my first custom paint job on my ceruledge figure, just so it can be a shiny version and cause the shiny is terrible, it was really REALLY easy 😂
I actually picked this up a few weeks ago at Target and they had it on clearance for $13 no joke, now back up to $20. But mine didn’t have any joint issues like yours is having, what a bust 😢
Ceruledge is definitely one of my favourite pokemon!! I’m very disappointed about it being a target exclusive as that makes it harder to get in Canada 😔 Still, I wouldn’t mind some loose joints as I think of my figures just like my other toys :P
For whatever reason when i bought him he rang up $13. I didnt even bother with the stand, i just drilled holes at the bottom of his feet and use a peg stand. Joints wound up alright on my copy
Probably just a QC thing. As someone who collects Hasbro stuff on the regular, I always keep some joint tightener handy just in case. Still a shame though
@@heitorsales6659look up “Kiki” 👍 It’s essentially Matt glue varnish, it thickens an area of joint to increase the friction. You could also just use nail polish (clear Matt) but kiki’s is better 👍
Kiki and KBN are two products made to be used to tighten loose joints on action figures. One drop is usually enough to make them stronger without causing damage.
I own some of these guys. Flygon, Ceruledge, Samurott, and Toxtricity. Upset at myself for constantly passing on Dragapult everytime I saw it (I was obsessed with getting Samurott despite also loving Dragapult) and now I can't find it for retail. If anything I hope I can get the others in Ceruledge's wave (maybe minus Rayquaza I haven't decided if I want em)
My copys got nice and TIGHT joints. Nothing is flippy floppy. My only complaint is the very limited leg movement. I would have liked to get a running pose out of him, but his legs do not go forward and backwards at all
I think he came with the stand because he has peg feet. $20 is a good price and even S.H Figurarts has QC issues. If the QC problems with this figure is really common than it's definitely an L.
I was straight up watching Smiths toys here in the IK when i found one, waiting for it to come out. I have it now and I wish it had more articulation but I am happy with it. that said a Figma of any of the charcadet line would be fantastic.
Really hoping this is just a problem with your figure 😭 ceruledge is one of my favorite Pokémon and I love this figures design so so much, hoping when I pick mine up it works nicely
I wish there was a good Pikachu figure that could do a bit of movement while being accurate in size with the other Pokémon. There was one that came with SH Figuarts Ash. But to get that figure, you'll have to pay up the arse for that figure now because it's only on Ebay because it's not available anymore.
I had problems with the mewtwo figure his arms keep on going down when I put him in certain poses. I couldn't even put him in his iconic pose from his base art
The Pokémon figures are so hit and miss. I enjoy picking them up when they go on sale but after the disappointment with mewtwo I’m hesitant to get more
I've had this figure for a couple weeks so I got it out during the video to compare and yeah mine is a bit loose in the left elbow but no where near what you had, like I can full Naruto run with it. I think you just got unlucky.
I think you're being too harsh I mean it did come with a stand meaning he is meant to use a stand we got to admit some figures do need stands and it's just a fact that said with the stand he can pose in any position and looks really cool so so I'm giving it a b+not perfect but better than average
Wh blame the model when the pokemon design itself is already ridiculous like how would you expect that thing to stand up on its own. And regarding the joints, ig you only won the lottery
Why don’t you get another copy and see if that one is better than the one you have I mean, it could just be a defect because this happened to me so I had to go return it and they gave me a new one and the one I had is better sadly it doesn’t stand on its own, but I like it
I’m glad you reviewed this guy. I was holding off on this guy cause I was very concerned whether it could stand or not and yeah your review was very helpful 👍👍
First time I've seen this Pokemon... but I really don't see how it could easily be a good action figure with that horrible base! Its feet are a nightmare to design as a figure! Now Baxcalibur seems like the perfect candidate to be an action figure! XD

My too
Honestly, as a customizer, I’m so relieved that the tightness was the disappointment, thought I would end up hating the figure, but it’s fixable
6:19 "It's kind of a cool pose right?" Also Ceruledge, standing like a fork.

My heart sank when I saw this video, I thought it was about the model kit. Hopefully that comes out good.
YESS, I CANT WAIT!
i hope its good like most of the model kits cause i dont like the loose joints on this one

Bandai also just announced that they're doing an Armarouge kit, too.

It’s so disappointing because looking at the total anime figures they can do soooo much better
Always looking forward to watching these vids on my work break haha
Hey ray! I always appreciate you man!!
Imagine reworking and glueing the joints , giving it a sick stand, and making it a statue, that would be sick tbh
Fun fact he was designed by one of the guys who does the art for megaman
Idk tomohiro kitakaze worked on Megaman before ?
Isn't he just work for super robo taisen and later move to game freak ?

The arm on mine snapped off not even an hour after opening it. It also has stress marks on the elbow joints, I barely even posed this guy.
My favorite form a few previous generations is Buzzwole

Ceruledge and Armarouge will never not look like Megaman ZX/ZX Advent bosses to me.

Do "Motored cyborg runner" next
Yeah the loose joints are a QC issue, unfortunately. My greninja foot is loose and cant face forward on its own
Love Armorouge 🖤🖤🖤🖤

Sorry to see the loose joints. I think Ceruledge looks cool, I just wish he was available in Canada.
By the way amazing photo shoot well done
ceruledge can't do his signature pose...
I wanted to get the dragpult one and hope the babies were removable I doubt it 🤣🤣🤣
They are not removable unfortunately 😭 but it’s a great figure!!!
i luv ceruledge i wanna buy sum pokemon figures but is there stands for them?
All of the figures from this line come with stands!
