Im also in the north east uk & ordered through flock last time(have a total of 6 kiesles including a Vader). On the flock build he quoted 12 weeks but it took 23 weeks. Ordered jan 4 & arrived June 18th & that was without any holds up on my build. Hope you get yours sooner & enjoy. P.s once you get your shipping ring fed ex & pay the customs duty as they don’t call you, only via letter which causes more delays to it being released & delivered.

This is why I went with an Anderson. Short scale option on every model and you can choose a 5/8 nut too. They also have more neck shapes and are more descriptive as to what they are. Keisel tends to be wide and only offer thin, standard and thick. It isn't enough. But Anderson is $$$
I ordered an Aries bolt on when they came out after NAMM 2016, I can't believe it's going on a decade since I've had it, play it every day. I have never made a single adjustment to the guitar other than a small turn of the truss rod to flatten the neck a little. The hipshot fixed bridge has the finish coming off from resting my palm on it, and theres some shine on the satin finish around where my fingers rub below the pickups and around the volume knob. The neck is perfect, fret ends were smooth as glass, and the fretwork is unlike any other guitar I've ever played, there's zero resistance while bending, and the stainless frets still look and feel brand new. I have always owned ibanez prestige MIJ guitars before I ordered the kiesel; I didnt opt to go for the thinner neck profile, and I'm glad i didn't.. if anything I would order the thicker option on my next one, which will be a headless. Subscribed so i can see this bad boy when you get it. Congratulations! I should add that the reason i woild go with the thicker neck is just personal preference, i have huge hands and I've realized over the years that guitar marketing put the idea in my head of needing a thinner neck to play faster, but i find having more to hold on to helps me dig in more, and get less fatigue. Just a personal preference though, the standard neck carve kiesel uses which is what is on my Aries is still pretty thin.

Nearly got the Leia for that reason but couldn't cope without the 5 way! 🤣 All going well my next may be just that but wasn't going to make my first one a non returner. 5 weeks and counting!
You pay Kiesel their bit for the guitar then the courier will email you for the VAT and import duty as soon as it arrives in the UK and before they deliver.

The story of kiesel for me is, I love this guitar, oh but you can't get "fill in the blank" with the "fill in the blank" for me right now im just waiting to be able to get a sustainer pickup in the A2. right now the only option to get a sustainer you have to pay over 3000$ for the signature model. I mean id love that signature model but i cant afford 3000$+ and pay extra for other things that arent necessarily my preferred perfect specs sound and look. I think the problem here is there are so many options to get yourself in a bind but not EVERY possible option to cover everything. and customers like me just can never decide lol. this bind probably happens for a lot of people. the customer service there must have a hard job. it really is incredible what kiesel has done for the community though. I never would have imagined being able to get a incredible quality custom instrument for the price. back in the day id just buy an mij ibanez and wait years for specs that are so so of what I wouldnt mind. Kiesel is doing amazing things. I hope they continue to progress and push the industry further.

Hearing a devoted customer go on and on (and on) about how hurt he is over abrupt, rude treatment is very sad. Most American businesses and services have minimized actual service to customers in order to increase profits, so it's hardly just Kiesel choosing to dismiss a customer with a complaint. In the world of guitars, particularly with relatively small makers who claim to offer individualized instruments, a dismissive approach to customers is very disappointing. The dual jack setup (Which I don't like; my Parker uses a single "smart jack" to deliver either a combined signal or two separate lines, could at least continue to be offered as an upcharge option for those customers who want it and have rigs configured to work with separate lines for piezos and magnetics. Disappointing a loyal customer who has been an advocate for your guitars, and then just throwing him away because he's understandably upset and angry says a lot. Whoever made that decision does not work in a vacuum, and it is discouraging that whoever made that move was not talked out of it by colleagues. Tampering with customer loyalty is ugly and short-sighted, IMO.
Thanx bro. buy American, buy a Keisel. fuck Ibanez. there build quality now a days is crap. they do not offer stainless frets. what a joke. without stainless, you will have to a refret job. in less than 500 live play time hours. THANK YOU.
