Hi Jeremy. I am a beginner drummer that played garage drumming for years as a young man. I recently stated drum lessons. I am 65 years old and I confess my drum teacher thinks I am doing great. Thank you for the lesson! My daughter is learning the guitar so I decided to start learning the drums. Needless to say we make noise most of the time, but it is exciting when it sounds right for a couple seconds.

I've got a band and we actually play pretty good in my opinion considering we are just teenagers it's just that our drummer just moved and now we are left without a drummer, so I (a guitarsist) decided I will learn how to play the drums and I don't even know where to start honestly so I just scroll through different yt videos to find a tutorial and then try to copy it. It's intense 'Learning by doing' also so difficult to understand what is actually happening and most of the time I mail my drummer in absolute confusion but your tutorial is by far the best one I've seen and I actually kinda got it right! :) thanks

how would i do this with a smaller set? I only have one of the symbols you were using, any tricks?
just use the same crash cymbal each time,... you could also hit it in different parts of it to get a different sound.
hello, I’m just a beginner drummer, can you please give me some exercises on how to improve my double kick.
basics of double bass is playing straight 16th notes **Right left right left etc** and having the high hat hit on every right foot. Get that comfortable and faster, then sign up for a lesson to go over the next steps **easier than typing it out**

what are measures
hi!... So a measure is a subdivision within a line... in other words... most rock music is in whats called 4/4 time. every measure will have 4 beats in it. If i show you actual music it makes sense pretty quickly.
It's also called a bar.

thanks Bill!.. So I use a Roland PM 30 amp.. you can use any guitar, bass, drum amp.. recommend 100 watts or more. All you do is hook up 1/4" male - 1/4" male, from amp to drum module. you can also plus laptop in to mix or aux in to play music through the module/amp as well.
