This place really shows off how massive Bandai-Namco is. I find that a lot of western fans often underestimate the size of the company and how many things they are involved in.
I would also spend most of my time in that back section with all the vintage anime stuff. I love seeing old, obscure franchises like Vifam, Brain Powerd and L-Gaim represented.
Oh absolutely. They have soooo many properties. The only thing is I truly miss the old namco logo 🥲

28:34 The orange juice is from code geass. Lelouch calls him orange man or something because his royal title is Orange. Its a meme that he grows oranges. The character actually resents being called orange.

Great video!! I saw some Saint Seiya and Sailor Moon stuff which were very cool, those 2 animes with Dragon Ball were really popular during the 90s here in México and Dragón Baĺl still is.

I wouldn’t even know where to begin. All those franchises in one big space. I’d be a kid in a candy store. I’d probably collect those cute SD Gundam candy toys and admire all those vintage items. I wish I had known about this place! I went to the one in Yokohama when I went to visit the Moving Gundam.
I would love to go there if given another chance to run back Japan. Last April cherry blossoms with a family trip went to Tokyo and AKihabara and until now my fascination to anime is growing.

Where you saw all the exhibition stuff at the back (that you stumbled upon), there’s an exhibition behind the curtain inside another room, featuring original cels and other merch from Cowboy Bebop, Dirty Pair, Cyber GPX and a couple of others. It’s a separate charge but worth it. I went there in March, and as a cel collector, I loved it 😊

How does it compare to the Tamashii Nations store in Akihabara? Leaving the Tokyo Disney Resort today for Kyoto (and Osaka, Hiroshima, Nara) then back to Tokyo for threeish days before heading back home to San Francisco. I’d love any tips. The G.M.G. are a line of action figures. They are quite small for the prices they go for. The figures come with accessories. I think there was a set with a vehicle
crap, I just remembered that I had that first Gundam DX figure box at 25m24s... god knows where it ended up!

It’s normally PACKED. I went as soon as they opened early in the morning.
I don't think I will ever get into One Piece. There over 1,000 episodes!
I already have a hard time committing to a 52 episode anime.
(my favourite type of anime are single season 26 episode series or old school 6-8 episode OVAs)
I know once piece is so daunting! So many episodes!! I feel the same way, I love short anime and ovas.
