I'm attending my first ever F1 race weekend this weekend at Spa. I was born and raised in this country, but it took me 38 years to go see one of the best tracks (if not the best) on the F1 calendar. I keep hoping to run into you or at least spot you, but I doubt we roam around in the same areas of the track. I'm just a pleb after all 😅 You are fairly easy to spot on TV broadcast though, your bucket hats help a lot 😉 I assume the events in this video took place on Thursday? Because I didn't see any of this. I didn't realise this tribute was done every year, so thank you for sharing!

Kym did you notice there is 2 finnish drivers racing this weekend? Valtteri Bottas and Tuukka Taponen in f3. its a great opportunity for the young driver to get experience in a f3 car
The fact that the tribute for Anthoine is mainly composed of people who knew him is what made the event wholesome unlike the one with Senna where you can see some drivers just being there because they had to. 🤷♂🤷♂

Ah yes, that time of the year again when all the photographers swarm to capture Pierre's emotional and personal moment only to get the same exact photo they get every year. Just let the guy grieve in peace. You'd think there'd be plenty else to go point your camera at during an F1 weekend.
All the people talking sh!t about Lando and Sergio for various reasons, but at least they're goodhearted people willing to stop for just 45 seconds and play Connect 4 with some one.. no one else seemed to give a damn. Maybe Perez doesn't deserve his seat, but it'll still be a shame if he goes. Of course, Ollie and Ocon's interactions were just as wholesome.

(added later:) I re-watched the vid because the crash collected about 6 or 7 cars, and Pietro was one of them, but he wasn't the driver who finished upside-down, which was Ferrucci. That turn1 is a nasty little b*****.
