Yo estaba en el tercer año de psicología en la U y ya tenía varios de sus lp´s en el cuerpo y la memoria, para ese magnífico recital, al que llegaron en lo mejor de su carrera. Tremenda y muy auténtica banda de rock.
They weren´t the band that wrote the song. It is just a cover version and the original writer of this masterpice is Neil Young, who wrote and published the song in 1989. But this cover version is altough played realy well! :)
I remember very clearly walking into my local record shop (Vinyl) back in the day (NWOBHM was in full effect) and Metal Rendezvous had just been released and was playing on the turntable, I ended up listening to the whole album and taking a copy home with me and playing it to death. Sadly I only got to see them once at a Rock Festival in Loch Lomond in Scotland (me and a load of mates drove overnight up from the South of England in an old transit van to get there) Sigh! Those were the days! But what a band LIVE... I've always thought they were criminally under-rated, also for me Fernando von Arb was and is so under-rated.
Their album "Big Rocks" are all covers from Born to be wild to Quinn the Eskimo. I absolutely love their covers, and certainly "American Woman" the most!!!
In case it's the message I'd like to understand.....Godspeed, Krokus! Strong cover anyway. Hope to Rock'n'Roll in a free world one day. Right now it's a sad mess and future don't look that bright at all.

I am Krokus-fan . But Neil Young's Album 1989 (i believe , it was" rust never sleeps") was sensational. I mean, Young's Version is better.
