So do you know what the Romans used to clean their butts with??? They had communal shit houses, and the Romans kept pigs around, to dispose of the "waste". They didn't use rags or toilet paper... when Jesus asked for water on the cross what did the Romans give him to drink???

      Very well done 😊
      But it’s missing something
What 👂 the sword (Isaiah 28:23) has to do with their coming (Matthew 25:1 ancient scrolls) and the revealing of the mystery of the gospel of the kingdom not to mention the love of the truth (Daniel 12:7, 2 Thes 2:10-12)
I chose the shepherd’s comment because he understands what he is to be watching for (Ezekiel 33)
And he is going to have to make a very difficult choice (Matthew 22:1-3)
You both know her wisdom is not in what she sees (Proverbs 3:7)
But rather who and what she hears (Matthew 13:14) when he is coming (Ezekiel 33:33 Hebrew only)
And the revealing of this secret causes A LOT of fear (Isaiah 28:19)
Prophecy we don’t want to face or acknowledge is being fulfilled is and that includes what held him back (2 Thes 2:6) (huh moderators - they are 😡 at me)
It’s nice to meet you both
He always keep his promises (Rev 10:7, Amos 3:7) ) he promised to always send a servant to warn us (Luke 14:17) before he strikes (Rev 7)
It isn’t easy keeping and teaching the least commandment of the king (Deut 17:18-20) until all is fulfilled (Matthew 5:18-19, Deut 4:2) including the book he writes
Because of them (1 Cor 1:19-21, Isaiah 28:9-15)
And hearing the sword definitely doesn’t create peace (Matt 10:34)

      (Gospel of Luke, 2nd century)
Teach them to hear the lamp, shepherds
Because you never know when a servant who wont tell him NO shows up because she 👂 the sword (Ezekiel 33:7, Matthew 13:19)

How accurate is that hidden wisdom they wrote ?

      (Gospel of John, 2nd century)
      Hint: Rev 14:14-16, Matthew 13:47-52
It isn’t just the gospel I believe that is different (Matthew 25:9) my oil is too (Matthew 10:34) I hear the sword and I understood

About the eye of the needle, I know it is a popular interpretation, but most scholars nowadays reject it, because there is simply no evidence the gaye was called the eye of a needle. It seems to be made up somewhere in the High Middle Ages. Actually, it even kind of defeats the meaning of the passage. With this interpretation, a rich person being saved is really difficult, but not impossible. Yet Jesus says that for men salvation is impossible, but for God all things are possible

He took the time in our classes to go over the tougher sections of Scripture and gave us their meanings through word studies of the Aramaic and Hebrew traditional msanings. About the ear being cut off, I understood also that Peter was acting on zeal without wisdom and so forth cut his ear, making his approach, one that lacks compassion. The servant therefore would not have "ears to hear"

Actually it's plainly simple. Jesus told them to get swords for their own protection not for His protection.
Peter cutting off the ear of the man was him acting on his fleshly understanding. Peter was fighting for Jesus to not be handed over to the sanhedrin but God's plan required for Jesus to be taken so that He could be crucified.

40 days and 40 nights in the wilderness was old. Testament example and prophecy. Christ was fulfilling not only the 40 years of the Jews in the wilderness and overcoming temptation in his time. He was fulfilling what was spoken of him in the old Testament by the prophets literally quoting quotes from Psalms and so on.
The legion of Demons chose to go into the pig for a pig has no sweat paws. Demons live within saltwater hosts. They knew if they were in the herd of pigs. There was no way out other than death into the ocean where they dwell. ..
Also recognising Christ and trying to stumble him by calling him the son of God at which point he was only son of man for he has not gone through the resurrected Ascension yet … love Jesus love the word oh and JESUS was cast away from those people where he had shown his power by casting Demons out of a man they found their animals and livestock more valuable than the treasure of what they had just witnessed
The living son of God ✊🏻
The significance of the desert also corresponds with the goat Azazel the fallen angel Satan and a Jewish practice of sending the goat into a desolate place with their sins building on that died on the outskirts Of the temple saving the entire world ,
When the choice was given Barabbas or Christ, a man blameless and innocent lamb in Jewish tradition would’ve been a goat carried the sins as the guilty walked free corresponding with the old Testament and the old way making all things new in him for filling the new covenant his blood !
Hope this finds any reader well and if you found this information interesting please take the time to listen to Hebrews the entire book of Hebrews. It’s the greatest hidden treasure in the new Testament corresponding with old and New scripture fulfilment and covenants and promises and faith. It’s brilliant life changing.

The pigs and swords were new for me. Very intriguing. With the eye of the needle, that view has become quite popular on social media, and is very interesting, but it doesn’t have 1st century support. This gate was not called the eye of the needle till the Middle Ages. It is very interesting, and exciting to find possible different interpretations than we’re used to, but sometimes they hold up and sometimes they don’t.
Something you may want to look into that I’ve found that I think is very interesting is the rock Moses strikes in the wilderness. 1 Cor. reveals that it was a picture of Christ. Check out the Hebrew word for when Moses “strikes” the rock and see how else it is used, especially in Isaiah and see how the cross plays into it, then check out the significance of the water (some key passages are Ezekiel 47, John 4 and John 7).

    • @jaynsilentboom
      @jaynsilentboom 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

Moses name is actually the name given to him by an Egyptian royalty. Which means; “he came from water”, or “water”. The fact that he made water come from a stone, is symbolic as well. He was drawn from water, and water was drawn from him. Also, his people wandered in the desert, and he as the only source of water for them. Also symbolic, and literal. There are so many amazing layers to the Bible.
The one that really gets me is that the Israelites had to be fed Angel food for forty years, and kept a portion in a jar inside the tabernacle. Moses was also, 40 years old, when he started his ministry. And he was given the ministry to lead his people. This harkens back to genesis, when God told Noah to build an arc, because a flood was coming.
But in a miracle, after 40 days and 40 nights, they were given a sign. Here is the kicker.
Remember, Moses means water, and after 40 years. The “water” (Moses) was left behind (unable to enter the promise land). In the same way, God promised earlier never to flood the earth again in Genesis. But also parted the Red Sea (water).
Moses (water) was divided…literally, and symbolically. He himself was also divided (Moses). Remember the 10 commandments? Two stone tablets, which were thrown down in anger at the congregation. = Moses being divided. Red Sea = divided. Moses = water.
God is a God of detail. And if we pay attention. He fulfills layers upon layers of intricate woven details into his narrative.

@@jaynsilentboom You're right about Moses being an Egyptian name, but "water" is not a part of his name, it just means "drawn out," and can even imply sonship. The name Rameses is really Ra-Moses, or drawn from Ra (son of Ra). I love that God supported his foreign name.

      @jesustemple7866 หลายเดือนก่อน

This false reasoning of a gate being so small that a camel will squeeze through comes from man's desire to be saved from eternal discomfort and yet have the temporal comforts of riches.
There are 2 aspects to salvation.
      A. THE SALVATION OF THE SPIRIT: This happens to anyone who believes in the Lord Jesus: rich or poor they will be saved (Acts 16:31). This salvation provides eternal life without being condemned to eternal death. Salvation happens in the spirit realm (Romans 8:16).
      B. SALVATION OF SOUL: A person who has experienced the salvation of the spirit can now see the kingdom of God. (John 3:3). To enter the kingdom of God, they need to lose their soul by crucifying the flesh, fighting satanand, and overcoming the world (Luke 9:23). This happens in the soul AFTER a person becomes a believer of Jesus and is the end of our faith walk (1 Peter This is where rich Christians can not enter the kingdom of God because while being a saved believer, they wanted the pleasures of riches rather than choosing the way of Jesus.
Thus, rich people who trust in uncertain riches over doing God's way will be saved but will not be given access to enter the kingdom of God (Mark 10:23).
There will be degrees of admonition for such (and ALL) Christians in heaven, but the most extreme is weeping and gnashing of teeth (Matthew 25:30).

When you said, "anyone who actually knows these," I admit that I was thinking, "pfff...I watch so much stuff, I'll bet I for sure know them." So I watched.
And I found indeed: I did know of all of them, and then I realized, "pfff...I watch so much stuff," and that I likely have a problem of time management.
I remember learning the eye of the needle thing is popular but also likely not actually in scope, but it's an awesome thought! So I still like to think of it.
    For the first one:
CS Lewis said something brilliant that corresponds nicely with the temptation also:
"We never find out the strength of the evil impulse inside us until we try to fight it: and Christ, because He was the only man who never yielded to temptation, is also the only man who knows to the full what temptation means - the only complete realist."

Exactly...its never definitive ever...the miracle of scripture lies in how it applies to ALL the souls the HOLY SPIRIT has "touched" individually/uniquely....so,any or all verses applies distinctively exclusive to many...its NEVER 1 verse fits all,but all can fit into the verses...but,the morale is ALWAYS leads to GOD/JESUS,somehow...

I dont think the eye of the needle is miss interpreted, but rather the camel, since a camel in hebrew also refers to a thick rope an anchor could be attached to. Similarly to the “gate interpretation”, it is possible, but takes time and sacrifice, so the message still stands either way.

    • @nathas3538

I agree with you. Instead of "camel", we should read "rope" or "cable".

Yes I have heard this explanation too, but the Hebrew word for thick rope only sounds similar to the word for camel. The gospels were written in greek and they used the correct word for camel as they heard it from Jesus' Aramaic.

This is what’s great about God word, we can see others talk about it for clarity yes, but when we read the word ourselves, we find true understanding. We may each have a different perspective on the passage but the meaning will always be clear as day, even if it takes you reading it many times. His word will always break the barriers of understanding and become clear to anyone who takes the time to know it. And in the end we will know the exact thing God is saying as long as we continue to educate ourselves on Him while on earth. God is truly great.

The thing with the sword may also be seen as a mirror to giving us our choices in life- we have the free will to use what is given. In that case, the ability to lay harm.
Though it was maybe seen to be justified (protecting our Lord) it was still a sin.
And despite the act, good or bad, as you said- God lifted the sun and left us clean.

hey mate, great content! keep em coming! i only knew one of the 5 points so i learned a lot from this video. anyway, speaking about biblical events with deeper meanings, i heard a theory awhile long ago that blew my mind about why Jesus had to go through baptism despite being perfect.
so Jesus had to fulfil 3 roles - priest, prophet and king, for the roles of priest and king, he had to check off certain boxes. as king, Jesus had to be of the Davidic dynasty via the lineage of Judah, but as we all know, that side of business was already well established as per his genealogy in Matthew 1.
as priest, it was a little more complex as there had to be special procedures through ordination that could grant him this post. according to OT legislation, there can only be one high priest serving at a time and he had to be properly ordained. a typical ordination ceremony after a candidate had complete his studies at 30 years old would involve ritualistic cleansing, anointing, followed by the laying of hands and the declaration of the candidate's inauguration into the priesthood to the assembly.
in Jesus' time, there were two high priests - annas and caiaphas. the reason for that is the romans didn't like the existing high priest in office, annas so they shoehorned in a second one, caiaphas, acting on their behalf as their puppet to control the jews. This corruption of this sacred office delegitimised their posts as high priest. that being said, john the baptist, who was a levite of the aaronic priesthood (evident by the fact that his dad zechariah was too a priest), had ordination rights.
At the start of His ministry when he was 30, Jesus was immersed by john (ritualistic clensing), had the Holy Sprit descend on him in the form of a dove (anointed) then was introduced to the assembly by God the Father Himself ("this is My Son in whom I am well pleased"). in this, He was legitimately ordained as our great high priest.
Not sure how legitimate this theory is, but it blew my mind when I came across it. Can you verify?

It's an interesting take, but I still sorta think that he meant a literal eye of a needle, because thereafter someone says "Then who can be saved?" And Jesus says "With man this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible". It was not impossible for a man to forsake his money, nor was it impossible for a camel to go through the Needle-Eye Gate. I always took the verse of scripture to mean that God could save anyone, even a rich man. I'm not a scholar though, so this is just a layman's take. But that's what I thought at least.

I learned a few new things from this video, thank you! I would like to add something to the first and second points.
The first: Yeshua was going through the same temptations (in order) that the Israelites in the desert went through. Yeshua quoted from the torah/law aka Instructions to rebuke the devil. Yes, we still ought to keep His commandments.
The second: Israel are His sheep other nations are compared to unclean animals. (see the apocrypha but also remember the cloth with all the unclean animals) The image you mentioned concerning the 10th legion made even more sense to me now. I really liked that detail.

This video is a prime example of why the Apostle James wrote, "Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness." This video is spouting falsehoods as if they were deeper meanings to scripture. This practice is inexcusable. If you love God, you need to take this video down and study for a few more decades before presumptuously attempting to teach false man-invented doctrines as fact.
The problem with this video is that over and over again it teaches as settled truth some very fringe ideas that are demonstrably false through logic and history.
Jesus was not making a reference to his ability overthrow the Roman Empire in any way, shape, or form when he cast evil spirits into swine. Read the account! The spirits REQUESTED to go into the swine. This was not Jesus' initiative in order to make some obscure political point.
The interpretation of Jesus' reference to the eye of a needle as an allusion to a feature of a city gate is patently false...it's as much a myth as the idea that Jesus and Mary Magdelene had kids, or the nonsensical idea that the phrase "sons of God" in scripture refers to spiritual beings like angels who do not possess physical reproductive organs yet somehow could produce physical offspring via women. These ideas have no place alongside scripture. Do your research on the eye of a needle. Take your research back to the writings of Josephus and the earliest church fathers. You will discover there was no common understanding among the people of that time that in their minds connected a city gate to the eye of a needle. There was no gate of any city known as the eye of a needle.
The interpretation of the facecloth is on its face nonsensical. Jesus told them IN PERSON that he was coming back, so there was no reason to send an obtuse message to that effect that then would be superceded by his actual presence over the next 40 days. Besides, no Jew would associate the UNCLEAN burial face cloth with a CLEAN napkin that would touch their lips while eating. (Remember Peter's later objection in the book of Acts that nothing unclean had ever touched his lips?)
How did these myths originate? They all started somewhere in history when some presumptuous would-be teacher jumped to a conclusion and taught his conclusion as a factual "deeper truth". Then undiscerning others followed suit, and eventually the extra-Biblical fake "revelation" was taught as tradition. It all starts when those who shouldn't presume to be teachers decide they know enough to teach.
Why do these myths endure? Because arrogant teachers in the present day continue to propagate the false ideas as factual deeper truths.
And just because some other observations are a surprise to the video's author, such as the nature of Jesus' temptations, that does not mean they are deeper meanings. It just means the author is a beginner in studying scripture. It's arrogance for a teacher to presume that personal incredulity equates to deeper truth, or that their initial assumptions and expectations which they projected on scripture were legitimate interpretations. Distorters of truth always start by misinterpreting truth through the lens of their own patterns of thinking and what makes sense to them. The false teacher arrogantly sets up his mind as the arbiter of truth, not realizing that the truth transcends his mind's ability to comprehend it. Where's the humility in the ideas you present? Where do you acknowledge.that your conclusions could be the wrong, false ideas that they actually are?
The real problem here is the video author's idea that all scripture should just naturally "make sense" to us. That idea is arrogant. The idea that the mind of God should be comprehensible by our minds is hubris. God will always be a mystery to us, and we will always struggle to fully understand, just as the Apostles did who heard Jesus speak in person. We will ponder God's mysteries for a lifetime, and still never be sure. That's all the more reason this video creator currently needs to step down from attempting to teach others what he clearly does not understand and has not spent enough time researching.
Spreading this misinformation is worse than having said nothing at all. Please take this video down, and put a few more decades of study under your belt before you presume to teach the principles of scripture which you don't understand to thousands of others. Put yourself under solid teaching and mentorship first, until you reach the point where you can readily acknowledge, “I don't know.” Though followers of Christ must certainly be able to have dialectic about these things, this video does not present these ideas as merely ideas, but as deeper truths that are settled. That's the arrogance of this video. It's the teaching of false ideas and interpretations as if they were inalienable truth. It's the projecting of oneself as a spiritual authority prepared to teach others, when one's understanding is not fully formed and mature.

    Jesus loves you
    Peace
From just a follower of the way 🙏🏻

Just discovered your channel and really enjoyed this video. Thanks! It must take a LOT of effort. I knew about the 2nd and 3rd meaning, but the others were incredibly powerful. Especially No. 4. Somehow never thought about that... But it's also a reason, why Peter ends up somewhat 'paranoid'. After that whole ear-cut fiasco, you can imagine him wanting to hide. There would have still been soldiers around possibly seeking his arrest. So his denial of Jesus was a 'life-saving' measure. But those who save their lives, will lose it... ;)

Jesus sent the pigs and demons into a lake, foreshadowing the end. Pigs and demons represent uncleanness. Luk 8:33 Then the demons came out of the man and entered the pigs, and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and drowned. Rev 20:14 Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.
Rev 20:15 And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

The eye of the needle gate is a myth meant to soften the words of Jesus. It is, in fact, impossible for anyone to get to heaven. He used a rich man as an example because they believed the rich to have God's favor and it made it even more hard hitting. The point was that only God can save, and when He does, He has done what is impossible for us.
1 John 2:16 also parallels the fall. "So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate." the point is that Adam failed the temptation of Satan (Adam was with Eve and ate as well) but Jesus, the "last Adam" (1 Corinthians 15:45), succeeded where Adam failed. Jesus is the greater Adam.

    quite interesting meanings
for me the turning point is the following verses:
24 Now Thomas (also known as Didymus[a]), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came.
25 So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!”
But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”
26 A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!”
27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”
28 Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”
29 Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
    John 20.24-29

The eye of the needle being a gate (from my research) is pure speculation and have found it very difficult to find the origination of this speculation. Jesus says it's impossible but with God all things are possible. Be careful to not not misrepresent the meaning of the scriptures with pure speculation. Love the animations and you have done a great job and please go for it but i think you need to do more research brother before presenting some of this information.

The one about the face cloth could have another meaning.
Carpenters at that time used such face clothes (napkins) to signify that they were finished with their work (in carpentry)and the next person should now take up their own task on that item. They folded the cloth and placed it on the item to show that the work is finished, just like Jesus said while on the cross. So, it could mean that yes, Jesus is certainly coming back, after completing the work He had come to do on earth at the time. (Dying for our sins)

what stinks is that if you get one of these verses misinterpreted then it creates doubt for the viewer on the validity of the rest of the interpretive claims. I wish you did some more research because your interpretation of the "eye of the needle" is verifiably wrong historically, philosophically, and theologically.
And the real shame is that one wrong take makes the whole content questionable. Now thank the Lord that some of your interpretations are correct and verifiably accurate, but some are not. I KNOW you are not disingenuous nor ignorant. But sometimes we want to see something in the Bible that is not there. We are fallible.

Many false teachers push a hyper-grace, or free-grace, OSAS no matter how you disobey & misbehave. This is false doctrine.
They love to refer to “The Thief on the Cross” as an example to push their heretical teachings and to prove that, to be saved; All You Have To Do is “JUST BELIEVE”.
Let’s take a deeper look, shall we?
The book of James teaches us that even the devils believe and tremble.
So, just believe huh? Is that what the Bible really teaches?
    The Crucifixion:
Luk 23:39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.
Luk 23:40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?
Luk 23:41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.
Luk 23:42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
Luk 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
    1. The thief on the cross was REPENTANT!
    2. He feared YEHOVAH-God & Reverenced His Son-Yeshua the Messiah.
    3. He demonstrated openly that he loved His neighbor as himself, when he rebuked the other malefactor, thus fulfilling the;
👉 Royal Law👈 on which hang all of the law & the prophets.
    The Great Commandment:
Mat 22:36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Mat 22:37 Yeshua said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. Deu 6:5
Mat 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.
Mat 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Mat 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Lev 19:17 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shall rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.
Mat 9:12 But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
Mat 9:13 But 👉go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
    Messiah is quoting Hosea 6:6-7:
Hos 6:6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
Hos 6:7 But they like men have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously against me.

I appreciate your perspective with the the demons and the pigs
But, we surely missed a deeper meaning.....
This story emphasizes the authority that Christ has in ALL creation.
The demonic spirits (spiritual)had to ask for PERMISSION to be casted into the filthy animal (physical).
This act ultimately symbolizes His Kingmanship in both Realms as The Most High and that even the demons 1) recognize Him in all ways, but 2) HAVE TO RESPECT HIS AUTHORITY.
This is also supported in the Book of Acts 19:15 when the demon says "I know Jesus, and I know Paul...but who are you"
    Be forever encouraged 💜✝️💜

some parts of the bible may seem contradictory because we don't understand. thank you so much! I really liked the Camel one... you should do more of those. (helping people understand what these confusing terms mean)

Thank you for the face cloth. This is a very old school Church teaching but I love that you brought it up because it totally dismantles the Shroud of Turin. Which is literally an image that represents that Ceaser Bogaria reprobate depiction. Middle Eastern Jew who had to be picked out of a crowd of disciples who we know consumed wine because they said they say lo a glutton and a wine bibber. He also touched the Dead raising the girl by the hand. He was not under the nazerine vow.
Leaving my pearls because I know your not a pig. Speaking of pigs I love the Roman legion thing, I learned long ago the pigs and sparrows were to showcase God would let many die for the sake of one human being. It's to show his love for us. Which is pretty big after reading Romans 1. They worship and serve the creature more than the creator who is blessed forever amen. I love that legion spin on it. Nice touch.

ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS WOW!!! THIS WAS VERY DEEP! The face cloth revelation is what made me think that everything in the Bible is true.

I may have heard things about those thing, but I never myself got them so clearly as right now! That encourages me to study more about the bible. Not being at the surface, reading a usual, but looking for deeper meanings. Thanks, bro. God Bless you!

Wilderness part was also about “man’s” worldly temptations that Jesus over came. Normal ppl like us fight these temptations everyday falling short of corse.

I really like your sword thing with the ear but I'm going to add it to what I've been taught. The swords were meant for the apostles because the situation was going to be dicy. I'm a second amendment Christian so I use it to show the reason to carry two swords, both which are necessary in combating evil one for the ministry of the spirit in Ephesians 6:12 kjv for the ministry of the sword in Romans 13 kjv.

Brouu..😎 What u think about Matthew 16:28 "Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom"
Some people think its an unfulfilled prophecy, since the people He spoke to all died. cant find anybody explaining this properly. to me, it simply sounds as if Christ meant when He comes back, everyone will see him meaning even the "dead" those who were standing there listening to Him talkin about this prophecy. everyone will see him but some will taste the DEATH OF THEIR SPIRIT
Caause why would Christ be concerned or get u worried about the death of the body???
i know little about the Bible,. so far all the things Christ said are SPOT ON it seems like the fella could never be wrong.💪
