Just found out that Kazuki Takahashi has passed away. Kazuki Takahashi changed so many lives by creating many things like Yugioh that brought people together. Yugioh meant so much to me in my childhood and it still does today. I think we can all say that Kazuki Takahashi made our childhoods awesome and we will all miss him. Rest In Peace

As a Dark magician fangirl I love the reprints. I may pick one up. When I read about Kazuki Takahashi has passed away it hit me kinda bad because I lost my grandma almost 2 months ago and it made me really sad. We'll miss him.

Yu-Gi-Oh, for me more than any other show or game, was a big part of my childhood. I remember waking up in the morning before school to watch new episodes of the OG series on WB Kids. I remember going to the store on the weekends and buying packs/decks, even the og duel disc (pictured) when it came out. I remember seeing the first movie in theaters. While I stopped watching the anime after 5Ds, I continued to play the game and still play to this day, even taking part in locals. I've made many friends through this game and am even a part of a Yu-Gi-Oh team online (we just face off against competing teams online). Thank you Kazuki Takahashi for being a huge part of my life through your work. Rest in piece king 👑

Ever since that first pack I opened way back in 2002, I read that name Kazuki Takahashi in the corner of each card. Knowing that he was the one that brought this game to life. When I had learned that it had been removed from the cards back in 2020 I was very disappointed and saddened by this. But just like I've come to terms with the new copyright in the corner of every card printed since then, I will have to eventually come to terms that after nearly 20 years to the day since that legendary man's name came into my life that he is no longer with us, except in spirit. Believe in the Heart of the Cards.
I just now came around to your channel searching Yu-Gi-Oh and I am both enjoying your content and hope that you keep growing as a content creator for one of my favorite childhood shows of all time. Also gonna miss Kazuki and I hope he rests in peace knowing we love what he brought to us fans.

The UK has the dark magician dice exclusive to GAME in its own gold box. Work there and they arrived the other day. So I did a lil peek and found a promo card that slipped out that I wanted. Put that one aside haha

I wasn't the most excited for this set and with the passing of Takahashi sensei, it has been a real downer. But the addition of randomness in where they place the foils is a great addition imo. And the promos are beautiful in secret as always
I've been a sucker for these legendary duelist sets since the first one! Got Red-Eyes in season 1, Blue-Eyes in season 2 and hopefully (if it is in the back) the Dark Magician in season 3!
I'm so happy that the predap stuff got reprinted, wish we got to see more of it in this opening, but just knowing that they're in the set makes me so happy!
This set is one I’ve been looking forward too solely for the Liquid Soldier reprint for my hero deck. But seeing that it comes with dice and basically mega tin packs, I’m even more excited!
Was definitely waiting to get reprints of soul servant AND liquid soldier in secret rare. I don't currently own them but will soon! It's finally here and this set is actually release on my birthday which is awesome!
After such a sad day this couldn't be a better set to open with Yugi and Bakura on the cover and cards from the first 5 protagonists (mainly Yugi, Judai and Yusei). You were a genius and will always be missed Takahashi Sensei. R.I.P
Even with his passing, its kinda comforting to know he was at least recovered for a proper funeral. Little things like that make a big difference especially with bodies at sea. RIP here's to continuing on loving the legacy he left behind.

This is a fitting video to post given the news of Takahashi's passing... As for the video itself, though, I'm really looking forward to the Bakura and Yusei cards being reprinted! The Evil HERO and Magician stuff is cool too, so I'll probably pick up one or two of this box...assuming I can find any, given how hard it's been to get cards lately. Interesting to see opaque dice this time around, though I always prefer transparent/translucent dice, personally.
Wow! I love Sangan and the other old Reprints. I got an Exodia Deck and it still makes fun to play with my wife sometimes! :D The news about Kazuki Takahashi are so sad for me personaly. Like almost everyone here he created so many stages in consecuence of just created yugioh. And this comment section is a clear example. Same with friendships i made thanks to this game.
