So, this performance was part of a virtual concert fundraiser organized by Matt Pinfield from MTV and Rolling Stone to benefit music venues impacted by the COVID shutdown. This is the show where he and Lzzy Hale discovered DPA. The rest is history.

So, according to Dany, if you want Dull Knives (Cut Deeper) longer. Just play it the over again. Then it's twice as long. Sometimes as song has left alone.

As others have said, this was from an online stream for charity, to support music venues during Covid. If I remember correctly it was 12 hours long and I saw all of it live. Their were dozens and dozens of great artists from varying music genres. But, The Warning was THE ONLY one that had their performance repeated later in the stream. The first time it was introduced by Jason Flom, CEO of Lava records and after they finished he said, "You've been Warned." After the second playing of it, they were interviewed by Matt Pinfield. Since it was toward the end of the show, Lzzy Hale of Halestorm had just performed and entered the live stream chat after The Warning played. She said, "I want to tour with The Warning!" 2 years later now that shows are back on, Halestorm has taken them on 2 tours this summer. Now they are touring Canada with Three Days Grace! You are correct "Dad", they will be headlining soon. If their new album, "Error" starts getting heavier airplay, and they get a few USA TV appearances, they are going to explode! Future Legends!

Continuing where we left - from Timberwolf7.62 In Dull Knives, the Queen is losing control and seriously considering suicide. In the previous song, Sinister Smiles, she’s already said “. . . grab the dagger. Cut through skin and stain the water”. This is a very “feminine” way to commit suicide-- in the tub, maybe a bubble bath, so that the blood from slashed wrists remains in the tub and does not dirty the house. I assume dull knives cut “better” because they cause more pain, and at this point she is self-mutilating. She realizes that her evil side is winning. She is losing control. Three minutes is the classic length for a rock song, "We learned more from a three minute record than we ever learned in school" And, yes, it is short, but in its way it's perfect. (JIMHO) One of the best songs about insanity and self harming I've ever heard. Well done to Dashy for spotting the shiny floors. Part of that was that they were 2 years older. They started at a high level but have improved every year.
