I dropped 5 scatters and got 20 spins on first stage and got to 3x before the 1x stage was complete and into the 10x during the 2x spins. the one and only time I got to 10x stage on any big bass was on the original. I was on stage 2 when I got to 10x. It didn't even pay 1000x. but it was a good win. something like 720x if I remember correctly. I have hated the game ever since but for some reason I still play every one that comes out

If you get like 8 fisherman in the first 10 spins, you then go to the x2 and then x3, it doesn't jump from x1 to x3.
Regarding the chains on the fish, it's a visual bug, it happens when you previously had scatters dropping down.
