I don't think so. Connor would have had exposure to French by this time. Remember that Canada was heavily francophone in the early days and there would have been plenty of interaction with the Canadian population at this time with new York.

Connor was the first assassin to realize the Brotherhood was full of idiots
He'd have preferred not to kill Haytham, but that stubborn jackass wouldn't have it any other way
Haytham could've seen that Charles Lee was a power player who was looking to take Haytham's place as Grandmaster (come on, a blind man could see that. His fake loyalty and reverence to Haytham was all a facade, hell the tears he cried at his funeral were all fake)
What do you mean ? Their was no Brotherhood it was Destroyed
@@thomascoburn5481 I meant the Brotherhood as a concept, I know the Colonial Brotherhood was destroyed
The first was Shay.
@@deckardshaw6696 fine, the second assassin to realize the Brotherhood were a bunch of idiots
@@mv7966 little late, I already corrected myself and said Connor was the second one
Fun Fact:
Aveline is supposedly a supporting character to Connor in Tyranny of King Washington DLC game but was scrapped.
She was supposed to be his love interest too.
@@elizabethchint6485 damn and she called him brother😀

I wish they got a spin-off were they teamed up the whole game, they have great chemistry as partners. They could give each other advice on their dating woes.
Imagine if all the assassins Creed characters met and they all fought a bunch of Templars that would be really cool I feel like biak and Ezio would be a cool pairing as well
@@MrLoverman7134 All of them fighting their rival templars like haytham, cross and others
@@MrLoverman7134if I ran Ubisoft, the final games of the saga, more focused on the current days, would have clones from the Assassins returned in order to be used by Juno, only for them to turn against her.
I should let you know however, Altair and Ezio for example would, unfortunately, not be included, as they were too wise and convicted to fall for Juno's machinations.
Another one who might not return would be Jacob, due to his chaotic nature, but Evie would.
@@JabamiLain it’s a good thing you don’t run Ubisoft

Connor is underrated. I have my theories about it, but they are not...nice ones.
Do share please i am curious for insight
what's your theory
It's weird but I think most people consider Connor a plain character, when at the same time praise Altair and Ezio as if they had an amazing character development, which they didn't have. Altair got manipulated the whole game (and never found out until the end), while Ezio had much more development as a character, but after 4 games (Discovery was canon for while) and 3 books, so of course Ezio is the one who most people will relate to. In contrast, Connor didn't have as much exposure as a character as him and people considered his revenge quest "simple", forgetting the fact that Ezio had the same goal at a much, much smaller scale (Connor wanted to save his people, an entire race, Ezio wanted to avenge his father and brothers).
So when people criticize Connor as a character, they are not taking into account all of the above. They just criticize the game, and therefore him altogether without considering that Connor as a child was almost murdered (strangled) by the oppressing force that constantly were chasing his race and clan to kill them. He was a child always in the lookout, always in danger and when the village is burnt down and his mother killed, that's when he decides he had to do something, and the whole destiny stuff comes into place. His motives to become an assassin are way more relatable, understandable and interesting than people tend to claim, which is weird because the setting is perfect for an assassin's creed game, but even though sales proved my point (it's the best selling ac game ever according to Ubisoft in February 2021, ac Valhalla is the best lasting one with micro transactions) I think it all boils down to "not being Ezio enough", which is stupid considering what the whole AC point. Could it be because of the whole Europe vs West? Unlikely. My guess is because of, again, some game decisions dragging down Connor, unfortunately. And I won't even mention what happened to AC Liberation because that's a whole different can of worms.
@@fhagane6821 I agree
what are your theories, mate?
Aveline: Connor?
Connor: Where is Charles Lee?
Aveline: Didn't you kill him?
Connor: Yes, of course I did! He's dead...forever.
For you see... you're not dealing with the average assassin anymore. You are dealing with the legendary Kenway bloodline assassin!
@@danteafton4096 haha didn't expect somebody to get the reference so fast
@@MrHyde-ku5qj Its way more popular than you think mate. There's a reason Funimation and Sean Schemmel hates TFS. Unless you're a fan of subs and like original japanese dubs, the TFS version is way better than the funimation dub in every way and aspect while still perfectly following the manga minus all the fillers.
I'm not gonna lie I read it in vegetas voice
I instantly recognize these references lol
Btw you can actually replay this mission and play as Connor which I find interesting.

@@rezafirmansyah9043 WHERE ARE YOU?
This is an underrated game, really. Though… The dialogue could of been fleshed out some. Connor talks a bit about the Colonial Brotherhood, and how he’s trying to do what his father was trying to do. Here, Connor sounds a bit… Generic. Until the end. Just all throughout the game, he sounded like a player’s guide.
Still… I wish Liberation was fleshed out more like Rogue, or 3.
IKR! I was very disappointed to see how Connor sounded here. We know he's not so talkative and does not say generic dialogues, but I guess they made him like this since he's not in "his game" anymore.
Still, I was hoping to see more of the serious Connor that we all are used to.
my headcanon is that he didn't mind the company of aveline and wanted to make some small talk
Love u connor kenway the best assassin u r
Ezio is better
@@Avocado_Ruler personal preference, considering their both completely different
@@Ibrahim-wr5fs ezio is better lol
@@Avocado_Ruler ok i think ur too stupid to understand what personal preference means
@@Ibrahim-wr5fs Ezio is actually the best assassin though. Connor was flat, monotoned, and boring as all hell tbh. The atmosphere and overarching story of AC3 was amazing, but Connor was such a drab lead. I can understand having whatever preference you want, but not recognizing that Ezio is LEAGUES better in nearly every regard to Connor is honestly an insult.
If Connor gets another game they should make another DLC with Aveline, this time with these two getting to know one another.
We need a game where Arno, Connor and Aveline will go after Shay Cormac and put a stop to his Templar organisation. But damn you Ubisoft because they don't have the balls to make it!!!
actully that will be very interesting story... i hope it also
As Arno storyline continues until he found out about Shay kill his father .. Connor will be a good support role for Arno
it's already stated that shay lived a long and happy life, reaching old age since he was able to teach both is son and his grandson to be assassin hunters
and honestly it's better that way, shay wasn't a bad guy, Assassins and Templars share the same coin
Corner is too busy running the America Group, Aveline has no business to killed Slay, and I haven't finished Arno story.
i love connor and aveline they make such a great pairing
They should've banged in that snow to keep themselves warm
I love how dainty Aveline runs
Just a funny thing i realise. Why Connor keep holding his tomahawk in the cutsence
Just in case
You never know when the enemy might show up or attack
The way he said "yes" was pretty aggressive ngl
I've played through this game countless times and I never noticed till now the enemies you fight in this mission are all models of achillies lmao, just look at their outfits and pointed hats.
Meets Master Assassins Connor kenway
Something wrong with Aveline voice acting.
Thats the weakness of this game, a subpar voice acting yet a smooth gameplay subsidiary to Assassins Creed 3
Something about connors line delivery seems a little off for some reason
Connor’s voice delivery has always been pretty poor. It’s one of the few things I dislike about him
@@solbadguy7771 he souded fine in the original game
WhatI was saying about this mission when I seen first seen it I said to myself. Why the heck does Connor have a health bar? He obviously ain’t gonna get hit lol.
The voice acting is so flat
Yeah not gonna lie, liberation just seemed kinda shit
@@Kinzaru Honestly, for what it was being very limited to a side game it wasn’t bad at all. Of course it did fuck all for the mainline story and contributed absolutely nothing at all. But I still enjoyed it as a side game to kill some time.
@@wb8905 liberation was actually a standalone game for the Playstation Vita, it got ported over as a side game for AC 3 Remastered
@@m1co294 I know so it’s not considered a mainline game since it was meant for vita users who didn’t have consoles but wanted to play assassins creed.

Connor, I love you!

I guess you take what you can get, but this wasn't enough of Connor. Only a few lines of dialogue and then he's gone.
Brother she means sister
Connor would have dated Aveline......
But the Creed is a Brotherhood, so, sorry bro.
I loved this mission
Good grief they fucked up liberation so badly.
Some people say they didn't know anyone who bought liberation or bought a title just to have liberation. I did.
And it is the first AC game I've ever put down and stopped playing with absolutely no desire whatsoever to finish.
Everything about it is handled so incredibly poorly. From animations and movement (especially swimming) to dialogue to story to character... Just so very awful.
The only thing in this clip that didn't piss me off was the fact that Connor showed no romantic interest in her.
I like me some French Chocolat au Lait, but the relationship between them was so off that it was only right that Connor treated her as he did, politely and kindly, but walking away at his first opportunity.
some french chocolat au lait.... tell me you're racist without telling me you're racist with 5 words or less...

@@MDK10100 mega wooosh
I wish the game had more of this interaction. Their experiences are kind of similar, both being minorities whos people are oppressed during colonial times and conflicted on who their loyalties should apply too. Maybe Connor could have given Aveline some perspective because he pretty much went through a messier experience with both sides of the conflict.
Dude, tell me how to skip the cutscene on pc

Press and Hold E
They knew what they did
I gave some thoughts about this.
Is Aveline Connor's future wife? Because in the comics, he was living happily with his wife and children after AC3. Also Connor and Aveline both belong to the tribal groups and they are both Assassins. They met and worked together before.
He trained his children at Homestead to become the future Assassins in US.
This theory makes sense.
No it's stated Conner married a woman from another tribe
Also Aveline is African American and French, not native American
@karriemramzy9256 Aveline is French and African not African American.
4:06 Looks like Connor is chasing Aveline
It would been nice if conor and avaline be a couple and Have children together they could train them to be assassin's and keep the brotherhood alive
