One thing that pisses me off in AC games since AC III is the fact that these games don't seem to be connected and plots started in one game don't get resolved or even expanded on in newer titles. These AC games could use some more nuance. For example Connor and Shay should play their parts in AC Unity, as you said. The next game after Unity should have been a follow up to Arno's and Connor's story as two of them play their parts in Napoleonic Wars that started after the French Revolution. There would be a potential for great land and naval battles, assassinations on the battlefield etc. We know that Napoleon held the Apple of Eden and I think that fact should have been explored much further! For example, when Napoleon came back to France after his exile to Elba he managed to inspire thousands of people and a lot of troop regiments to join him. This would make for an amazing scene when he marches with his soldiers holding the Piece of Eden and manipulating the minds of people he comes across! Connor and Arno would help Napoleon in the battles during the Npaoleonic Wars (maybe both characters could be playable). Then they'd slowly learn that Napoleon isn't as good as they thought he was. Maybe they'd learn he's a Templar. That would lead our protagonists to turning against Napoleon and his eventual assassination on Saint Helena. Then Syndicate could happen and it would refer to Black Flag as well as Unity somehow. The precursor and Juno plots should have been expanded on as well.
If they didn't make another assassin's creed game about Arno and Connor I hope when next gen consoles came out ac unity will get remastered and have a new dlc about Connor and Arno
It actually is a great game; the story this guy's talking about could have been the sequel to Unity. Fuck you Ubisoft for putting out Odyssey which has NOTHING to do with Assassin's Creed!
Does the name What If ring a bell? This was great honestly. By interlinking Connor's experience with Arno and their shared connection with Shay it really brings a more coherent story than we got. Connor was by no means perfect but his end speech showed he learned. Arno well, the Paris brotherhood was rather shit and using Connor really helped to give Arno a purpose

Yeessss, 'What If'! Great video James, as always! The monologues of Haytham and Connor & that music in the background still kinda hit me right in the feels man
I will always stand by the fact that Connor is the best of the Assassins. He's like the Luke Skywalker of the universe, learning from the pasts mistakes and dealing a blow to the enemy they'll never recover from. Connor has always been my favorite. It's why I'll name a son after him.
@@LazerzZ As naive as he is, his whole story arc is about not repeating his predecessors mistakes. That's his whole narrative focus, and why Achilles entrusts him with so much.
I always tear up when I hear Haytham's last journal entry. He was a man torn by his convictions and conflicted between loving his son, and loving his Creed. In the end, he chose his Creed and died for it but Haytham's feelings for Connor and Zio were irrefutable.
This would have been a much better story for unity, great job James! Ik these what if videos must be difficult to make but they are so good! Please try to make them more frequently if you can

dude, love the concept. Can't believe I never heard of you before. Added to my watch later pile. Can't wait to sit back, relax and enjoy some, what if AC goodness. Thanks :-)
If this were the events of unity, it would be such a great game. You’d see the developments of Conner which we don’t really see in 3 and Arno becomes a more rounded character. If Ubisoft went in this direction, it would have been amazing to play. Great vid James
@TheLatiosnlatias02 I agree, and now that I've played unity,I have to say that the bugs were minimal, and the story and gameplay were one of the best, same with AC3,and that's a really interesting continuation of their stories,I would love to play them and have a sense of closure with the two characters
It is, only problem with it is that by the time Arno becomes an assassin in 1791 Shay would've been 60 years old, way past his prime. So there wouldn't have been a fight because at that point there's no way he could hold his own against Arno let alone Connor or both at the same time.
@@Thefourthdimensional actually, cononically, shay was still in his prime by his 60s I could guarantee he could hold his own against Arno OR Connor, not both, because being trained by assassins AND Templars made him one of the DEADLIEST templars to ever be alive
I really loved this! It brings a sense of finality and closure to both III and Rogue whilst acting as a major plot point that drives the main plot arc of Unity, that being Arno and Elise. If only Ubisoft understood that, since it would give Unity much more complexity.
This was well done and a lot of fun to imagine. The problem with this idea is that Achilles would have more reason to thank Shay for saving his life (from Haytham) and even to apologise to him, than to wish him any harm. Achilles even admited to Liam that Shay was right all along. There is just no way that Shay is antagonist material, as he is completely motivated by good. For Shay, Arno's dad was just the target holding the dangerous box that would help the Assassins destroy another city. So it wasn't even a personal kill, it was Shay just saving lives. And also, people forget Shay never planned to "betray" the Brotherhood, he was going to jump to death taking the precursor box with him (he even got shot in the back while doing so). He was saved by Templars and only joined them to stop the Assassins killing more innocents. So he was basically the only assassin who never betrayed the creed and ironically he had to join the Templars to do it.
wow this would've been a much better game! just imagine if they took this approach with their games, this would be the right way to go about having different protagonists, by having them sort of cross over in later games.
Man when 4:05 started, I kept reminding myself this is LazerzZ's who always talk shit on Connor lol. Anyway this is SO GOOD! I've always wanted to see Connor's, Arno's and Shay's stories end. Shame we won't ever get this.
Connor: your are lucky i didnt found you sooner... Shay: achilles didnt told you....i make my own luck..... *Connor buries the blade in shay's chest * Connor: your luck run out.
nah Ezio would've gotten his justice, after all Rodrigo got killed in brotherhood, And he would still kill his son by the use of the earth's gravity, and I doubt it would change Ezio that much, and the villa *MIGHT* not have been destroyed
well as he stated it would not changed anything, Cesare would still propably attack the Villa for revenge so yeah... it's also proven by the fact that in the book Rodrigo is dying when Ezio comes out of that room at the end, Rodrigo poisoned himself beacuse he spend his life seraching for that and planning to get to that room and it was all wasted. Rodrigo only asked Ezio what did he saw in there and he replied : "...nothing" then left him to die.
I think this highlights what we the fans want, more meaningful connections between stories, and whilst I enjoy the newer games their is still something missing. your story reminded me of what that is , the personal connection between these characters we've spent so much time with. "It's soul if you will". The real kicker is they had this between Altair and Ezio.
I strongly believe Connor would of been more suited in Unity's game than Arno. I mean Connor chasing after Shay would be more interesting then Arno chasing Elise.
Wow,....this is the first of these series that I've seen and might I say Bravo!!!! I wish ubisoft would have done this as a DLC game. They need you working for them!

You did a great job with this bro.. And seeing unity was co-op Connor tracing Shays movements would had been 🔥 especially with the fact black flag ac3 and rogue all connected...they missed out on a great story involving Connor Arno and Elise hunting Shay and the rest of the Paris templars

Your what if videos make me wish Ubisoft new how to write an interwoven story line at least with the timeliness which were close together, instead after revelations we've got the story of a new assassin each game instead of the brotherhood

Black flag kinda followed plot since Edward is related to Connor
Well the Colonial Trilogy was done with the attention of showing a family line

Still haven’t lost your touch James ! Great video
Daniel Fruman dude, the video has been out for like a few minutes
Daniel Fruman how you watch the video so fast lol
Really loved this video
The narration, the story, the editing and the accent. 10/10 would play this game in a heart beat.
God fucking damn if all this that you talked about actually happend in this game this would of been a fucking great game!
Joyful Gamer lol fr
TONE THE SALT DOWN A LITTLE YOU'RE GETTING SO DEFENSIVE
DARK HAZARD I'm agreeing with James if the game worked the way we hoped it would of been so much better
1783... Davenport Homestead
This scene is a reminder of how much I miss playing AC3 and how much I used to love it, regardless of what people think about it, and always will. I so wish things turned out differently between Connor and Haytham.
*EDIT*

A remastered version will come in March 2019 with all DLC's.
EDIT:
It will come with Assassin's Creed Liberation HD Remastered, also including all DLC's.
The Price will be 39.99 $ for USA and 39.99 € for Europe.
Pov connor at germain's door:*knocks violently* *kicks* *says WHERE IS SHAY PATRICK CORMAC with a berserk voice*
Wow man if only this actually happened, Connor not being in Unity was definitely a mistake by Ubisoft.
Connor would destroy Arno just with his shere willpower.
Connor will break his soul
Arno is way too intelligent for Connor, trust me^^
Brix X not really.
@@markbrix9385 doesn't matter. Connor is too strong
@@markbrix9385 He's studying under Achilles since he's 14. He's very knowledgeable about many things

I'm glad that everyone can still find enjoyment in the old assassin's creed. Amazing video. A true insight into the Ac that we all love.
21:30 are you freaking kidding us right now you're literally saying that they can never be perfect this story was perfect it was amazing the way you actually describe the battle between Arno Dorian Connor Kenway vs Shay Cormac it's really really good your story should be a DLC pack for either Assassin's Creed 3 Unity or Rogue because this story is too good not to be a bonus mission keep up the good work man I'm subscribed to your Channel now
I gotta say for someone who doesn't like Connor you sure understand his character good work mate

Connor never learns from his mistakes... I wrote him that way to actually make him compelling, he's a naive fool in AC3
@@LazerzZ As naive as he is, his whole story arc is about not repeating his predecessors mistakes. That's his whole narrative focus, and why Achilles entrusts him with so much.
YES. ANOTHER WHAT IF!!!
Wait, was this fanfiction? Thought for the first half this was the actual story hahah
LazerzZ makes a better story than Ubisoft
@@Real_NormalGuy True
Always appreciate the time and effort you put into these man! Nice alternate take on the games, and very well done as always.
I always tear up when I hear Haytham's last journal entry. He was a man torn by his convictions and conflicted between loving his son, and loving his Creed. In the end, he chose his Creed and died for it but Haytham's feelings for Connor and Zio were irrefutable.
I think James should have wrote AC Unity...
Michael Benjamin Andrew Naeck Same
Yeah ikr shay killed arnos father
yup i agree
I would LOVE to see this in a Comic or game it would be great in cannon
This would've been sick mate. Great video. Really wish they kept Connor's final speech in the game.

U DIDNT WANNA LEAVE HIM A CHANCE HUH
This would have been a much better story for unity, great job James!
Ik these what if videos must be difficult to make but they are so good! Please try to make them more frequently if you can
That speech by Connor was one of the best monologues I’ve heard from an AC character, why didn’t I hear it in the game? Just finished AC3 a 2nd time with the DLC...
BoyWonder1914 not sure exactly where or when the actor voiced that but it came from a epilogue-comic type thing I think people are saying, not exactly sure
My favorite line from Connor is I may never succeed the assassins will struggle for 1000 years more but we will not stop
Plot twist: Arno's father was a templar traitor
Man I Got Emotional During The End.... I've Played As All These Characters... It Could've Been Epic..
dude, love the concept. Can't believe I never heard of you before. Added to my watch later pile. Can't wait to sit back, relax and enjoy some, what if AC goodness. Thanks :-)
A lot of creativity and effort went in to this video and it turned out great. Well done!
Connor could’ve beat shady alone bloody hell, he took down an army.
shay took down the whole colonial brotherhood
@@Dryllion not in combat all of them at the same time
@@Dryllion Shay took down a bunch of nobodys exept for Adewale. In full confidence I could say Connor would break him

If this were the events of unity, it would be such a great game. You’d see the developments of Conner which we don’t really see in 3 and Arno becomes a more rounded character. If Ubisoft went in this direction, it would have been amazing to play. Great vid James
That's one hell of a story you made. Thanks for bringing this up.
Great research on the timeline during the two games, bravo james
If Connor was in unity,he would've been faceless
It's just a joke,I never played unity
@TheLatiosnlatias02 I agree, and now that I've played unity,I have to say that the bugs were minimal, and the story and gameplay were one of the best, same with AC3,and that's a really interesting continuation of their stories,I would love to play them and have a sense of closure with the two characters
Ubisoft needs to make this story happen this sounds like a damn good story
It is, only problem with it is that by the time Arno becomes an assassin in 1791 Shay would've been 60 years old, way past his prime. So there wouldn't have been a fight because at that point there's no way he could hold his own against Arno let alone Connor or both at the same time.
@@Thefourthdimensional actually, cononically, shay was still in his prime by his 60s I could guarantee he could hold his own against Arno OR Connor, not both, because being trained by assassins AND Templars made him one of the DEADLIEST templars to ever be alive
You deserve much more appreciation to think through all of this .It feels like LazerzZ had a better view of AC than Ubisoft itself . :)
This is exactly where I thought it was supposed to go, but I guess not. Biggest missed opportunity ever in AC
I remember hearing the rumor but in the end connor was only mentioned in unity BUT they are aware of each other, as well a connor meeting Avline
What if Desmond didnt used the temple to stop the solar blast in ac3
I was working on this for a while but I actually just couldn't for the life of me make it work
LazerzZ if altair father was never murdered?
LazerzZ what if Jacob and Evie never went to London?
LazerzZ It’s a good idea, but they kind of already show what would have happened if Desmond didn’t sacrifice himself.
We wouldn't have got the shitty post-AC3 games that's for sure (yes i know AC4 and Origins were amazing bla bla bla, but they are clearly outnumbered)
Every time you skipped ahead I heard the AC1 animus narrator say "fast forwarding memory to a more recent one" lol
I think this was amazing
I really loved this! It brings a sense of finality and closure to both III and Rogue whilst acting as a major plot point that drives the main plot arc of Unity, that being Arno and Elise.
If only Ubisoft understood that, since it would give Unity much more complexity.
This theory is so good, i really wish it was a set of missions in unity
Imagine the fans got to construct a assassins creed game. Holy that’d be the perfect game
nah , would be shit ngl. as good as it seems its a terrible idea
connor is my nr1 character i know people dont like him thats why he needs a sequel.
I wonder why people hate him, like wtf?
@troll I heard some people saying he was emotionalist although he really isn’t.

What if Ezio killed Rodrigo Borgia in Ac2?
MrKBD this would be amazing
he might've went down a darker path i think, imagine Mario turning up to find the pope killed
nah Ezio would've gotten his justice, after all Rodrigo got killed in brotherhood, And he would still kill his son by the use of the earth's gravity, and I doubt it would change Ezio that much, and the villa *MIGHT* not have been destroyed
cool
well as he stated it would not changed anything, Cesare would still propably attack the Villa for revenge so yeah...
it's also proven by the fact that in the book Rodrigo is dying when Ezio comes out of that room at the end, Rodrigo poisoned himself beacuse he spend his life seraching for that and planning to get to that room and it was all wasted.
”Press X to dig”
I strongly believe Connor would of been more suited in Unity's game than Arno. I mean Connor chasing after Shay would be more interesting then Arno chasing Elise.
@TheLatiosnlatias02 That would be the ultimate Assassin’s Creed game.
This was great I wish they told this in Unity, but I mean you know how Ubisoft is.
Wow,....this is the first of these series that I've seen and might I say Bravo!!!! I wish ubisoft would have done this as a DLC game. They need you working for them!

Conner’s speech is so good

Hearing Connor's and Haytem's voice with the video of 1883, made me cry😭😭😭😭😭😭
Not going to lie, UNITY was def. one of my favorites. They introduced the dope new customization feature, new engine, AND the coop multiplayer should have definitely stayed in the franchise.
Yeah, they had there bugs, but I honestly didn’t have any issues while playing.
You did a great job with this bro..
And seeing unity was co-op Connor tracing Shays movements would had been 🔥 especially with the fact black flag ac3 and rogue all connected...they missed out on a great story involving Connor Arno and Elise hunting Shay and the rest of the Paris templars
Another sick and epic vid from a sick gamer let’s have a watch

Connor: CHARLES LEE!!!
Arno: ELISE!!!
The story he said was absolutely incredible! I loved it. This should have been included in the games. It would make them so much more interesting. ❤ Lots of love to you man! You're the best 😍 #lazzerzisthebest
I think I've watched this a couple times before.. I'm a big fan of the channel and this special idea here
Your what if videos make me wish Ubisoft new how to write an interwoven story line at least with the timeliness which were close together, instead after revelations we've got the story of a new assassin each game instead of the brotherhood
