I disagree to some extent with Nikki on the money issue, but only because I've gotten bit by it too many times. I'm comfortable with money (because I've been frugal and saved/invested all my life), but my sister is perpetually struggling with it. Over the years, I've helped out countless times. Buying her plane tickets, buying her groceries, treating at restaurants, paying her utility bill, I've even paid her rent 2-3 times, but eventually I noticed all it does is give her freedom to spend that much more and get herself back to the edge of struggling. So now the only thing I offer is advice on budgeting and investing (although, I will still treat at restaurants when we go). That said, I'm still willing to help someone get out of a one-time situation, which is a lot of what Nikki is talking about.
My grand father sold his company for 74 million dollars and is hoarding it for when he dies too while my sister and I who live in Denver struggle paycheck to paycheck to make mends meet. Wish he had this mentality lol
I love that Nikki is frugal with buying makeup and isn’t afraid to buy the cheaper brands which are all made under the same umbrella as the wildly overpriced designer brands.. ie. Lancôme =L’oreal which is. The parent company of Maybelline. and NYX 36 other brands You are wasting money if you’re buying $50 Foundation or expensive eyeliner.
I freaking love this chick!! ❤ I agree with your take on having money & spending it on people you love, but you should still look at it as a generous action. Just like if you open the door for someone behind you or someone drops something & you pick it up & hand it to them… everyone should do it, but they aren’t entitled to & when they do you say thank you. Be appreciative of what you’ve done to achieve your wealth & that you’re generous with it because it should feel good. I just don’t like either extreme I guess of most situations so your mom being extreme about it doesn’t make sense & you saying it’s not a generous affirmation bugs me, too. 🤷🏽♂️

I would love a money talk/ finance talk with Nikki and her journey with money and her healthy outlook on it ❤️🙏
SAME!!
Was really excited to see Nikki will be hosting the 2025 Golden Globes. The woman's jokes are killer, one of my fav stand-ups today.
Can Emily be a guest on the pod? We'd all love to meet her!
I also wear wet n' wild foundation/concealer!!! It's the closest shade match I've ever found to my fair skin!
"When I used to be friends with J-Law..."
Damn I wonder what happened

Good for you about helping your family and friends. BTW is that gold ring on your left hand new? Is that for the new name for the pooch?
Is she wearing an Oura ring?
