Love this video! Helen passed this on to me. We met on the #2 3/3/23. I do see some subtle differences here. So glad we did the trip and very happy to have met everyone.
Oh the spiral tunnels on the CP main line at Field BC. Love that area and have hiked and photographed the area many times which is pretty easy since it's all of a 3 hour drive from home for me. My daughter who used to work for CP Rail has ridden the front end a few times through the tunnels. She has some really great pictures as well.
***** Not the spiral tunnels, alas. The VIA train has used the northerly CN route since 1991. The only passenger service on the CP route is the "Rocky Mountaineer" tour train.
I plan to do that trip after corona crisis is over ... in canadian February I imagine you need to have very good luck to have weather situation like seen on this video?
