Price Point ke Hisaab se definitely Xpulse is a more value for money motorcycle. If it is about Highway and city rides then I feel CB200X. But if you would like to real off roading then Xpulse is the motorcycle.
But if you're going to prioritise the road then why even bother getting an adventure motorcycle in the first place? So many better road going bikes in the market

Major difference is price point, 25k difference in onroad price. Nothing except brand value justifies this difference. Another thing is the service and spare parts cost. Hero is dirt cheap in that. Quality of honda vs cost of hero. Looking for your first ride review Bulu bhai.
Honda is expensive, just an adv poser. Don't see it challenging xpulse. Xpulse T is better than this anytime.

However you are bang ON for 2 points-Honda could have used more powerful engine(250 or 350) and longer travel suspension.
Xpulse is almost better in my opinion..cause pulse has bigger cc,ground clearance, and also price fuel tank etc.. I continue to love pulse Its King in this Price range👍❤️
How about road tax and quality from what i know indian bikes have low build quality no offence

I'm a Honda fanboy, I will go with xpulse with my eyes closed, it's is more purposeful,lighter, better usability and I think the xpulse is a better engine overall with the oil cooler aswell. It's more of a sensible option than the cb. The CB200x is for someone who's just getting into motorcycling and looking for a tourer but it's not a off roading bike, you have better options at the same pricepoint

How many days do you go off road? 99% of times we travel on road only. 200x is better ergonomics and dynamics. And in long run Honda engine will outrun Hero due to it's quality.
Hi Bulu Bhai, in your own free time can you make a video going into depth of what exactly do you mean by Honda is better in quality? If possible can you you go into the technicalities, engineering choices/decisions, specific parts quality which are prone to damage and solutions by honda vis a vis other manufactures. I believe it would be a very interesting video, if well researched and presented.
Xpulse gave me what I want I just close my eyes and ride it on any road...
Please get good Health insurance as you close your eyes and ride. Since your eyes are already closed your eyes are safe but not your other body organs
Hornet 150 is a very good bike but the Hornet 2.0 had a major issue of engine oil leakage. Hope that has been taken care off in the CB200X

I'll say this bike is worth every penny.
It's big and looks dashing.
I liked the Honda it looks decent great for city and highway rides but it didn't got any x factor that will overpower xpulse.
But honda launched a decent product that I must say

However xpulse is such fun bike for off roading.

Xpulse is unmatched in trails...Price point matters not for you but it matters to mango people....front 21" rear 18" and ground clearance will kill CB200X in trails...if you drive in ladhak roads xpulse will be the winner definently...I am proud owner of Xpluse bs6..

Price difference,,Wheel difference, ground clearance, service cost, mileage figs, suspension travel, offroad capabilities xpulse will win....and highway Cruise both will be same because of same power figs ...

In mumbai traffic conditions and signal to signal I am getting 38-40 kmpl...In this condition max speed was 80kmph also ...Highway I am getting 43 to 48 kmpl depends on how I am accelerating
Cb200x is just hornet with different clothing bro . I test drove it recently but dint impress us . On the other hand xpulse 200 4v is a complete different machine wow I dint expect that from hero . Kudos they have a real winner there with 200 4v
Wait for the next-gen of cb 200x. I hope Honda would come with better (read, longer travel) front forks and ground clearance

Something similar to KTM 250Adv would have been better for us enthusiasts, this seems to be focused towards urban commuters who want to tour mildly on highways and learn trails.
As a Hornet 2.0 owner I'm highly disappointed. Honda just did fairing job & called it a day. No change in power figures, no change in suspension travel, no change in seat, no change in instrument panel & probably no change is gearing as well since it's a cb series.

Please don't vouch for quality of Honda. I have a long term experience with Honda, they do a little bit of twiching with there old horses and come up with the same old engine specs and charge a bombshell. The worst part is they don't listen to there customers needs as far as design flaws are concerned

@@lol-vn5ro He said the right thing, Honda doest care about Indian consumers requirements. Honda thinks Activa bik gaya to Highness or duplicate cbx v bik hi jaegi, pel hai janta. Xpulse is much more purpose oriented or ye? commuting bike hi hai.
Need more power or else it will be tiresome in Highways. Would be more comfortable if it uses 350 cc engine which Honda already has.
Even CBR250's engine will do the job after some tweaks

As a proud Xpulse owner i can say go blindly with xpulse the bike is very reliable and rugged. You can tour with it without any issues. I agree about the seat but for me ( front seat ) is comfy but back u need to spend 300rs to add cushion. Xpulse is stable on turns too even though it has bigger wheels and soft suspension and the engine is butter smooth. I dont need to say anything about the offroad capabilities of Xpulse i think everyone knows 🤣 Using it for 1.5 years and the honeymoon period is just not going.

I ride Impulse. This doesn't feel like an upgrade. Should have been at least 250cc. Tyres are also disappointing. Could have given 19-17 combination. And ground clearance is street bike level. What's the point of this bike?
City with bad roads (mainly for comfort of long travel suspension) and occasional highway rides
xpulse will be more practical in terms of price to performace
Bought CB200X over Xpulse because i dont do offroads, & for touring CB200x is not a skinny bike like xpulse, its Big so cb200x
Expected switchable dual channel ABS, greater ground clearance for the higher seat hight . More power and torque, bluetooth enabled console. 6th gear for cruising better if they are selling it as a weekend tourer .
This will suffer similar fate as that of 500X .

X pulse is amore of a hardcore offroader, CB200X is still a citybike with minor off-road capabilities
Maximum people are going to ride it in city and highways, I think cb200x has a definite edge in this department. Xpulse 200 has very bad availability in my experience, I waited for mine for over 4 months but it never came, dealership wanted to sell me the test drive vehicle. I expect honda to be much nicer in this regard , wait is on.
Well my hero super splendor have more ground clearence than Honda's so called adventure bike☹️

Ground clearence dont matter what matter is just wether your bike could stand going offroad. Look at rally car races they dont make the cars high instead they are at rather low heights

With no engine refinement, and the engine being short of the 200 mark is never a good option. We don't even get a liquid-cooled engine. It looks like a modified version of Hornet. Even if we turn a blind to all these, its price will make us think twice before going for it.

yeah, but Honda needs to come out of its brand hangover. If one is willing to spend this much amount, then Dominar 250 is a good option any day.
They should have used the engine from CB 300 & launched it, this is not as powerfull as it is needed for the purpose it is built for

Honda CB200X is Honda letting us know about what they think of Indian consumers - they think we are fools. We don’t deserve products created out of research, out of new design, out of desire to satisfy a customer. They think we Indians still only deserve rebadged - rebranded - underpowered vehicles. This inspite of India providing some of highest margins and market share for many Japanese brands.
Just imagine a company like Honda could have easily researched a little bit and got a proper adventure motorcycle in the 300 cc range with a good ground clearance and load bearing capacity suitable for long distance touring.
But no - Companies like Honda want to us keep having sub optimum products because they believe we will still keep buying these products and make them earn margins.
This is a slap on job. Fazer 25 fazer 150 being recent examples. Going by Honda's philosophy, people having 20 year old karizma can just add block pattern tyres and put an X sticker and Voila ! you have a rejuvenated tourer / offroader. Kya idea hai sirji wah.

If we looking for off road definitely design and unwanted parts are like big doom side wing are no need but in this bike honda just done what they doing for their past bikes just concerned only on design if they really prepare this bike for off road the good things they want to do just increase ground clearance and remove unwanted design wise parts

Cb200x is more practicle bike .45kmpl mileage & low maintenance wide 140 tubeless tyres . Best in class riding comfort for long drives . Dual purpose tyres for 20% offroading .
Only blunder will be single channel ABS If honda don't gives at this price this will be blunder on highway oriented bike dual channel abs is a must safety feature .

What we need from manufacturers like Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki are bikes like Serow250, CRF 250, the DR Series of Suzuki. Bikes that can actually do & imply something - not these sterile machines which feel na ghar ka na ghat ka.
All hopes on Indian manufacturers to actually listen to the Indian market.
