      Thanks John, yes a good size for the two of us. Always looking at larger boats, but they come with larger bills 🙁 best to get out and enjoy the boat you have!
      There is such great sailing around the UK coast we are very fortunate! Let's hope for a good season this year.

    Hi enjoyed the video but hoped you could answer a couple of questions if you didn't mind, as a novice I've only sailed dinghy's but some say the best way to learn but having limited funds I have looked a the likes of trailer sailors and thought about traveling around UK waters but would ask would you see this as a mental idea? it's I just would want to go to the expense of mooring a boat to stand idle and thought about a trip around the top of Scotland from east to west as a starter and somebody pick me up with the trailer over that side or am I just mental for considering?
    was thinking a holiday for maybe a time to gain experience with a view to upgrading, Oh I'm situated in the north east as the name would suggest, some say that alone makes me mental LOL

      Hi Lorry, You could try contacting people through one of the many sailing groups on Facebook , you will likely have one for your sailing area. Lots of people with boats can struggle to find crew. You don't have to be highly experienced, just willing to learn and have a good attitude. A trailer sailor is also a good route to take, but I would personally stick with day sails on a smaller boat. Hope that helps.

      As a trailer sailer myself, I'd say go for it. I sailed dinghy's for years then a few years ago got a small trailer sailer too. I love it, more stable that my dinghy (that I still sail) & I keep it ashore at no cost. I use it on the sea & larger inland waters. Enjoy!

    Great video, but the music is too loud, I can't hear what you are saying!

      Sorry still learning with the video edits, sound can be a little tricky. Will try and get a better mix for the next one.

    You guys need to be authentic. You're trying to be Hollywood with pseudo American accents. IT HONKS ! JUST BE YOURSELVES !!! Add sailing things like navigation, maintenance and docking.

      @Johnson_KB  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      My apologies George, If we ever met in person you would soon find out the pseudo American accent is unfortunately how I speak, personally I blame my parents for this especially my father who brought me up listening to American rock, blues and funk. However, I do agree. Maintenance, Navigation and Docking would be much more useful information. Unfortunately they are much more difficult to capture on film as the camera normally comes out in fair conditions during a relaxing passage. I will see what I can capture next season.
      Thank You for watching.
