Thanks guys, brought back some fabulous memories. Five of us approached Scotsail two years ago to run a special two-week itinerary for us with Day Skipper course for three in first week and Yachtmaster for two in the second. We had Pav in week one aboard Stelina and Tony in week two aboard Bolero. We pretty much got 12 days sailing for the price of 10 and the extra two days allowed a longer to trip Port Ellen, Rathlin Island then down the Northern Irish coast to Belfast. The trip and everybody at Scotsail were fantastic! In tricky situations since, we've often asked each other '... now what would Pav do?'. Thanks for a great video.
I was on that boat myself not long ago - teaching style much too regimented for my liking. Considering that we (the crew I was with) were paying, I felt we were treated as if we were fortunate to be aboard. Though you'll certainly have no problem with a genuine MOB after that true-to-life training!😂
Hi Tony Thank you, glad you enjoyed the video, despite the music choice 😬 We did do an online shore based theory course that we had to pass before doing the practical.
Excellent video. I'm sure I've watched this one before on another channel? Do you guys have another channel where you've bought a yacht? Anyway excellent video and very informative on what to expect when attending the DSC, well done 👍🏻
Loved this! Absolutely charming video by very warm and genuine people. Thank you.
Thanks Tim what a lovely comment

Pav was just incredible, her way of teaching is perfect, tell you straight but not obnoxiously.

Your welcome Andy, how did you get on with your training?
I'm looking to do this too, in the future.
love the video pity about the music.
It is Reg, it was a newbie error.
Hi guys, loved the vid. Did you do any other shore based training ie. a theory course before you went on the Day Skipper practical course. Cheers.
Hi Tony Thank you, glad you enjoyed the video, despite the music choice 😬

@@satnavgav4500 I thought as much. Thankyou for replying.
Great video! FYI Definetly not Astute, not even a british submarine!
It is an RN Boomer because they are flying the red ensign, the hydroplanes
are below the waterline and I served on one.
@@Sabhail_ar_Alba The RN flies the white ensign and a boomer is at least twice the length if not three times of this sub.
Did you guys do any more sailing since this video?
We did, you will find it on the channel we did for sailing, search Overland and Sea on TH-cam

Great video content spoilt by the blarring music.
Yeh your right, a newbie mistake 🤦🏼♂️
I wasted a fortune on this outfit. Only interested in grabbing your money, avoid avoid, avoid.
