For the first time I had good images of my surfing. This video made me realize how much the poo stance has been holding me back. Thanks a bunch.

this tutorial is 12 years old and as relevant as the dad surfers first got off their bellies.
Getting rid of the Poohman is the first step to becoming a stylish surfer.
BTW, got my first proper floater today thanks to your tutorials and they keep pushing me through the motions of progression!
What I didn't realize was that floaters should be a beginner to intermediate transition and I thought they were quite an advanced maneuver, yet here I was hunting barrels already when there was so much more to learn on the ladder of progression.
    Thanks a million!

Have you thought about a video on foot placement? I'm curious whether foot placement varies depending on the size of the board, especially the back foot. I'm just getting good at the pop up on very small unbroken waves close to shore but feel like my back foot is too close to the back of the board and it kills my speed. Love the vids. Hope to visit soon.

I’m intermediate and can pump down the line and cutback whenever I want but I recently saw pictures of myself surfing and realized my stance is way too wide so I’m going to try to have a conscious effort to keep my knees in and feet closer

Same for me mate! It's so important to see how you surf. Recently I had some photos and it was kinda frustrating seeing my stance.

@@itallol.padovani885 I’ve improved my surfing a lot and have been doing competitions for my highschool lately, I like the way my backside looks a lot on pictures and I’m definitely better backside, frontside cutbacks I want to get better at though
