Great vid as usual. Both pieces are great, I didn't care for the movie or I would get one for sure. Vigilante version wins for me. The cape may be unwieldy, but worth the effort to get it right. Love that last shot of you on your throne of boxes, lol
Thanks. I love both statues and it is worth it to adjust the cape but the downfall is you have to adjust it everytime you switch out the portrait. Overall, i'm very happy with how they turn out. Cheers!
I prefer the Champion edition as the gold looks really good, much better than it did in the movie, it was far too saturated in the movie. I don’t like the cape though, I didn’t like the look of it in the movie either. So id go with the Champion edition but display it without the cape.
They both look great without the cape. Its a pain in the ass to switch out the portrait with the cape too.
@@artstatuecollector yeah I bet it is. So yeah id go with the Champion edition as I like the gold pieces, it gives the suit a bit more of a pop, but id leave the cape off 👍🏻

I got the gold armor hot toy coming today! They decided to not include the hood with golden armor, at first I was upset then looking at your hood I’m sure the Hot Toy would be just as awkward. Great pick ups 🤙🏼

The Champion Version is better, the gold and the black in the outfit just pops more making it look way more visually appealing.
The gold accent does make it look better but i still prefer the black and silver tone
Went back and forth but ultimately decided on the Champion Edition myself. Both looks are great, but that version at the end of the movie was an upgrade. Loved it. Also, I think I heard it mentioned in the instructions not to put the crown on the head because it could scratch it. Meant to just sit on the base. Hopefully not a long wait for mine. Either version is good so can't go wrong there. The crown wont scratch the paint since its PVC and it stretch pretty easily.
Champion Version looks lush definitely would go with that
They both look good though. I'm keeping both for now.

The Vigilante Edition is one I would choose; I agree with you on the support system, it looks unsafe .

Great review as always buddy!! I have the Champion in hand and should have the Vigilante soon enough. I think they both offer something different.
lol during the video I was laughing when you didn’t use the instructions and then put the crown on the head that the instructions say never to do 😂😂😂.
I don’t have any light bleed through on mine. That’s what the big flap overhang at the top of the LED attachment. As you’re inserting the head, use that to block the check area with so there’s no light bleed 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Also on the Champion, there’s two grooves in front of the hooks that you pass the cape ropes through, that helps the portrait sit flush.

Haha whoops! I will have to check it out and as for the cape on Vigilante, i adjusted it to my liking. Love both statues as they look awesome and the portraits are spot on!

Yooo what up Art. I'd go with the Champion version, i like the contrast more with the gold. Makes it very eye appealing. I like the cape more on the Champion version as well, the one on the vigilante didn't look good, didn't fit correctly.
Yo, whats up! Gold always go with black. I like both version but like i said, i would choose Vigilante just bc it looks badass.
Liked to had the vigilante . Same worry on the support for this piece. I was expecting he wouldnt weigh much. One thing detering me from buying. Worried it would break or have sagging issues over time.
Same. I didnt think the body would weight as much as it is. Hope i dont walk in one day and find it all in pieces on the floor 😅

You have to have closed mouth portrait with the cape only like the picture.

@artstatuecollector Absolutely. I'm talking more of the function. I don't think Prime 1 shows mouth open with the cowl on vigilante version.
EH, I DON'T KNOW. SURE THEY PUT THE BATTERY PACK IN THE STATUE. ALL YOU NEEDED IS MORE WEIGHT. VIGILANTE VERSION WITH NO CAPE IS THE ONE I WOULD GO FOR. COOL LOOKING PIECE THOUGH. CONGRATS, BRUH. 🤔🧢👊🏽
The battery pack doesnt weight much. Just enough to hold the portrait down in place. The cape does add mysterious look to him. I just dont like the material of it. 👍🏻

It is pretty tough but there is no wrong choices here. Unlike me, most people will just choose one of the character 😆
Mixed Media capes are so annoying. I like the vigilante version but definately wouldn't display the cape.
Yes, its annoying when you have to pose the cape to make it look natural on a statue. Atleast it has an option not to display it 👌🏻

No, each version has its own cape.
