Wow Art what a balancing act with this piece. Glad that you were able to get any broken pieces fixed and congrats on getting things done to ensure a better stability of the diorama. After all said and done it is definitely very impressive. Not sure but I think it would have worked out better if they would have made each character individually on a portion of a base that could then be put together as a puzzle type. That way you know that each one's going to be stable on their own base structure and not have to depend on other things not collapsing. Anyway it is fantastic and definitely deserves its own center type display. I couldn't afford something like that so I went with the Sideshow Spiderman with Ghostly images of the Sinister six overwhelming him. Once again congratulations Art and thank you for sharing this assembly video of that amazing piece.
it was nerve racking putting them together. like i said, i wouldn't have purchased it if i knew it was going to be this huge. as for statue itself, it is amazing once put together. i don't think it will look as good with a separate platform. the illusion of those characters that can fly in the back makes it symmetrical.
i think its friggin fantastic. its extremely ambitious and with that kind of complication its a wonder that it could even be done. the detail on each character is quite impressive. they could have cheaped out on the detail just because there is so much to see when you take in the whole thing at once, but they didnt cheap out. i would totally expect some engineering difficulties and possible issues. but aside from that and some seam lines that of course can not be avoided with a statue as insane as this, iam super impressed. there will never be another piece like this created on this scale and same concept. this is the one and only and i believe worth the price. congrats
Is this still purchasable? I can’t find it 🤷♂️ I’ll prob wait for XM’s 1/6 cuz this is absolutely massive but if it’s still for sale I wonder how much the 1/6 is and if they have made any updates to make it more stable
it is sold out. i think they only made a small edition size for 1/4. they also made 1/6 scale version of it but i haven't seen any photos of that scale.
Great job with the engineering modifications. This is easily the best Spider-Man statue ever 🔥. Love this piece. Hope it holds up with no leans or breaks over time. I would love to see XM do there version one day

This is one sick piece. I had a chance to buy it but eventually passed. Too much $$ but I think worth it plus I didn’t have the space. I think they pushed the limits and kudos for Ace Studios being brave to tackle this. I love this piece. Their are some flaws but overall, it’s insane. How do you move it now? 😂
i give them all the props for even making this in 1/4 scale. the engineering must be a headache to plan out. the video of us moving it will be release next week

I know this piece is probably heavy as hell already but I would have glued a lot of the really questionable parts. It’s not a piece that you’d sell easily anyways

oh yeah. you have to know how to fix things yourself or have a repair guy you know nearby for things like this. lucky there are so many in my town.

i love diorama but it takes up so much space but atleast it's the only diorama i need for Spiderman.
