This theme is used several times in my AU Sherlock Holmes stories which is set in the 1890s where Paul McGann plays Sherlock and this theme plays whenever danger or existential dread is present... and or supernatural villains, including Cthullu, The Headless Horseman, and Jack the Ripper, played by Mark Strong, show up to reek havoc in London, or wherever the story is set. Especially, starting at 0:01
