    The enthusiasm and positive attitude of Marcus is the reason so many look at this show. But Randy is not that bad as well. Fun episode and the Boss is sincerely happy for Marcus and with the overall results.

    Deer or no deer, that mountain lion with the little ones would have made the trip 100% worth it by itself. Very cool!

    Started hunting coues in AZ as a nonresident in 1996. Still doing it today. Coues hunting is addicting. Always my favorite hunt of the year. Had a few nighttime run-in’s with lions myself. Closest was about 10 yards while packing out a buck.

    What a great hunt , seeing the beautiful mountain lions was special. And that buck was great , I didn't realize that they were that small lol . Another great video. Thanks for sharing.

    Way to go! I got my 1st coues buck here in AZ too, near Flagstaff about 2 years ago in Nov. The hide was too beautiful to leave, so I got it tanned, it's a beautiful reminder of that hunt.

    I watch this channel because of Randy, I don't watch it when it is the other guys, it's not as good a show in my opinion.
    Getting to see the momma mountain lion and cubs, that would make the whole trip worthwhile. After seeing that I would not care if I got a deer. A truly once in a lifetime experience.

    This is like a condensed version of the usual 3-4 parts series.. Randy got his deer in about 8 hours and Marcus got his in 2 hours, verses the usual; same number of days for each :)

    I have no idea where I fall on the "Kooz" "Cows" debate. All I know is that the biggest thing I've learned from watching "Fresh Tracks" is that 1) a clean miss is a LOT better than a BAD hit and 2) Always make a clean, ethical kill. Randy, ya did both. Don't be too hard on yourself. The clean miss is MUCH better than a bad hit on a deer that small in country that BIG. and 2) your second shot was perfect. Did Marcus shoot that deer in the neck? Nice shot!

    The mountain lion footage was worth the trip without the bonus coues deer

    @7:50, Only the second time you've seen cougars in all your years of hunting? You don't hunt California much, do you?

    • @brushwolf
      @brushwolf 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think that says more about the non-take status Iions have in California and the resulting lack of fear of humans, compared to any of the other western states. Did you notice her reaction when she realized their presence?

    I have seen this before but I drew a muley tag this year so I am getting geeked up to go. Please tell me Randy you went to the UofA 😀 BTW stop telling everyone how great it is here just kidding I welcome all ethical hunters. Drunken poachers who shoot from trucks and do not tag their game I have no tolerance for if I see them I report them.

    Randy. Learn to shoot dude. Too many of you guys don't know how to shoot. Did you even check your zero when you got your rife back from luggage. I bet the answer is no. I have been teaching long range shooting 37 years. You made a rookie mistake. Sorry but it's true.
