A very on point Interview with Justice Markandey Katju where he is very vocal on the condition India is in & this spineless regime, a lot of his views match my own.... I support his take here that a Revolutionary shake up is necessary for India to progress, as right now the country is very much in a pig in swill mode. But India has always been full of sheep who are fine with a minimum needs met 'do roti' unthinking existence since eons, so I have my doubts that the there will ever be a Revolution of masses towards actual progress.... which is sad coz a shake up would change the fate of India & spruce it up overnight.

He was a Supreme Court justice. Whatever happens in a country, a Supreme Court judge is expected to not voice his opinion in public as people can then accuse him of being impartial to one section even if he’s being completely sane and thus in the public’s eye, his opinion would’ve clouded his judgment. Sure he still could have gone out and set it but then he’d create an example out of himself that the judiciary can go rogue and whatever legitimacy was left from the judicial system would also be lost. Kudos to Justice Katju for saying it as it is. A very on point Interview with Justice Markandey Katju where he is very vocal on the condition India is in & this spineless regime, a lot of his views match my own.... I support his take here that a Revolutionary shake up is necessary for India to progress, as right now the country is very much in a pig in swill mode. But India has always been full of sheep who are fine with a minimum needs met 'do roti' unthinking existence since eons, so I have my doubts that the there will ever be a Revolution of masses towards actual progress.... which is sad coz a shake up would change the fate of India & spruce it up overnight.

Indeed, what you say has been clear to a large number of NRI's for decades, however, none have clearly and explicitly pointed it out like you have. THANK YOU, hope this will be the kick up the back-side the nation needs to make some real progress as opposed to turning on the minorities and other useless actions. Another problem has always been: the minute someone speaks up, he is made out to be "Anti-Indian" and dismissed, here, I sincerely hope people can rise above their conditioning / programming of many years and see the truth you have laid bare. Finally, as a person who travels a lot I find most national media educates the general public, however, in India its only purpose appears to be spreading false propaganda and making people stupid in an imaginary world at that, this is hardly realistic nor helps the country excel, would love to hear your view on this.

Whatever happens in a country, a Supreme Court judge is expected to not voice his opinion in public as people can then accuse him of being impartial to one section even if he’s being completely sane and thus in the public’s eye, his opinion would’ve clouded his judgment.
Sure he still could have gone out and set it but then he’d create an example out of himself that the judiciary can go rogue and whatever legitimacy was left from the judicial system would also be lost.
