    What do you say about the nose?

    • @BerthashannonLeonard
      @BerthashannonLeonard  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi Agatha. 🤔 the nose is very tricky. I do believe it can be done safely but I think it is something that requires a good understanding of hyaluron pen, especially due to the realistic ‘effects’ that can be achieved.

    So on the wet line is not recommend to shoot there? And between the wet and dry line ?

    • @BerthashannonLeonard
      @BerthashannonLeonard  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Never go into the 'wet area' of the lip. This area is very vascular and the skin is extremely thin. You can do your shots only in the dry area of the lip. If you are unsure, stay closer to the vermilion line of the lip.

      Hi Abby, my personal opinion is yes, if you are properly trained. I don’t really believe that the treatment will be successful if you do not really understand the treatment or know what you are doing.

    HI Bertha love love your videos, your so pretty as well, love the volume in the top of your hair, do you use a velcro roller or is it natural?, sorry if it is a daft question, I copied your hair and backcombed it.. phew took forever!!
    Question for you, why can we not use the pen in the temples please. thank you.x..

    • @BerthashannonLeonard
      @BerthashannonLeonard  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi Criminista. You are way too kind 💕💕 thank you for the compliment, I think it is easy to get your hair a certain way just for a quick video, it definitely does not look like that all day ☺️. It is natural but I do have a volumizing powder that I like to use. Maybe I used it that day. We don’t work in the temple area because the Depth is not as consistent as with injectables, and even then many injectable practitioners & nurses prefer to not work in that area. We normally stop at the lateral corner of the eye and do not work above it. The device penetration is influenced by the size of the shot you are making, the thickness of the serum, your technique as well as the thickness / condition of your clients skin. There are too many variables that influence the depth of your shot in this slightly more vulnerable area.

    Why i can not inject in the middle of the lips? I want to push it high there. Here in Germany many people do this in the middle without problems... Is there a healthy risk?

    Can you please explain why we can not use the pen in our Cupid’s bow? Thank you

    • @BerthashannonLeonard
      @BerthashannonLeonard  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hi Ashley. I use the pen on either side of the Cupid’s bow and when possible in the Centre but away from the vermilion border and away from the wet line. If you shoot in the Centre Of the Cupid’s bow/ on the vermilion border then you ‘LL push it out and that can look unnatural. This video is just a small piece of content extracted from one of the longer videos 🙂

    • @BerthashannonLeonard
      @BerthashannonLeonard  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Nurgül, this area is very sensitive and it would cause severe bruising & swelling. The tissue is to soft & thin, which also creates a risk for lumps

    • @BerthashannonLeonard
      @BerthashannonLeonard  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Emerita. No, we do not normally work under the eye. Cheek bones or eyebrows - but not under the eye. BUT Im sure that the trainer is not 'irresponsible' so Im sure what every they are going to be doing under your eye will be absolutely fine and Im sure that you can request to speak to the trainer in advance if you feel uneasy about the appointment

    Hi, have u ever seen someone experience swelling a week or 2 later? This happened with a couple clients recently & i don't know why? They're lips go down then blow up again. Please Help!❤

    • @BerthashannonLeonard
      @BerthashannonLeonard  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Michelle. I would want a bit more information inorder to better assist you with this answer.
      Firstly, has this never happened before, and suddenly started happing to your clients?
      When you say a couple of clients, do you mean 50%, 20%, 10%, 5% of your recent clients?
      I have seen it before (due to the product being so superficial it cam happen) if the client is dehydrated and or eats drinks something high in sulphate (like wine, pretzels, salted peanuts etc.) Also if they are sick (on antibiotics) or their immune system is very low, this can also contribute to that cause.
      Let me know what "a couple of my recent clients" means in quantity, because if the percentage of clients who are suddenly experiencing this is high, it might have less to do with them and more to do with you.

      @@BerthashannonLeonard thank you for responding! Ive been doing the pen since November 2019 & as of October 2020 my last 4 clients have had almost all the same reaction. This was a new shipment of filler (that ive now thrown out) i ordered in large quantity but there was no brand name for it when it arrived. It arrived in bubble wrap in a silver blank packaging. This has never happened before. But 4 clients in a row having similar reactions, i assumed it was the filler.

    • @BerthashannonLeonard
      @BerthashannonLeonard  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@micheleg1357 Yes I agree with you. If that is the common denominator, then I would also suspect that it is your filler. Im so sorry that this happened to you. Good luck with finding a good replacement.
      Your clients should give you an idea of what their diet and daily routine is/was like about 3 days prior to the swelling so that you could advise them as to what the filler might be sensitive towards. (maybe it is very hydrophilic and therefore hydration / dehydration levels are being influenced) Is the swelling only in the morning or all thorughout the day...
