I got to spend about 15 minutes 1 on 1 with Rick back then. Got his autograph and thought I just talked to a rock star. Haha. Back in the 80s I ended up getting to speak to and get autographs from Rick, Larry nixon, Ken Cook, Paul Elias, Tommy Martin, doug Hannon, and Harold Allen. To me they were all rock stars.

I had the wonderful opportunity to share the back of his Skeeter in one of the first Pro-am tournaments B.A.S.S. held.
Think its fair to say Rick clunn was born to fish hes a hammer.. Larry nixon is my all time favorite though
