If you're looking for a bike to commute, an everyday bike, or just a bike as your only vehicle; i would recommend the 300. But i'm biased; never owned a R3. Very glad i got this bike as my first. I think im in love.

2 years ago,in the RC vs R3 vs Ninja,the ninja was already the heaviest and with the least power ,now 7 kgs more?,7kgs more due to localization so the parts which were used before was of better quality like lighter and stuff and ones used now are bulky and heavy ?

I am riding 2017 Ninja 300 Winter Edition. I love my bike. However, your review is spot on ! For beginner riders though, I would recommend Ninja 300 over Yamaha R3 mainly because of the slipper clutch. My biggest complaints about Ninja 300 are; it does not have gear position indicator (also, it can be added with after market product) and the brake lever cannot lowered due to the master cylinder location to the right fork which is quite annoying..

My thoughts on the 200-400cc segment - Dominar (tourer cum street) - does not excite (even though its a good product with a great price). Duke 390 - Awesome tech. Great features. Crazy fast. But I personally am looking at something outside of the street bike category. However, its a very well rounded bike with loads of features, and there does not seem to be any other such bike. My mind tells me it is VFM. RC390 - Too track oriented RR 310 - Love it. But vibrations, very small pillion seat and lack of slipper clutch makes me think again. Hoping to see a V2 of this bike soon. N300 - With the new pricing, its become really attractive. Solid bike with a parallel twin. But servicing and spare part availability is a big issue. N400 - Too expensive and servicing and spare parts issue. R3 - Solid bike with a twin but price is on the higher side. For the 2019 edition, I would be willing to save for a couple of years and go for it. I do not have any idea on spare parts and servicing. RE Interceptor - Not sure about the long term reliability of a RE. Plus, while I love the cafe racer feel, I would prefer a sports or street bike. Honda CB 250rr - not coming to India but seems to have everything in it.

Crankshaft... Yeah bro that's why I still think LED lights are just gimmicks and old lights are still practical and useful especially for touring and night rides.
Most led headlights used currently have a colour temperature of 6500K. Manufacturers can employ LEDs having a colour temperature of 3500-4000K, which has the same colour of normal bulbs, but with far higher output & less power consumption. In that way it looks permium and is practical.
Note: LEDs are not good in many suitations Kawasaki is premium bike and r3 too but Kawasaki has premium service centres because every bike is 300+ but when it comes to Yamaha ..even scooters get serviced under the same shed.. ninja has 17 litre tank which is a beast❤️ r3 back brake is fuked up
I completely agree with the judgement of this video. If you can splurge, go for the R3. You'd only miss out on the tank range and slipper clutch.
