    U wont believe it, I just took a test drive of this bike today in Bangalore.. Loved it to bits, but the only issue is the price.. On Road prices of Bangalore : Ninja 300 - 3.91 lakhs; KTM Duke 390 - 3.21 Lakhs; RE 650 Twins start from 3.07 lakhs OTR Bangalore.. Also one more concern is Kawasaki has only one service centre in Bangalore n that's in Jayananagar.. For someone in Whitefield it becomes an issue :(

    • @Tobeon2

      Between Duke390 and Ninja 300, I will go for Ninja without hesitation unless you do only the heavy traffic city riding..

    I ride 2017 Ninja 300 to commute (21 miles or 33 km one way) in Chicago, U.S. In general, it is 30-40 mins of city traffic and 10-15 mins of highway riding. So far, I have been riding 1,500 miles (or 2,300 miles) per month. I think Ninja 300 is a near perfect commuter bike because (1) very light to control, (2) reaching a highway speed of up to 90 mph (145 kmh) is not that hard, (3) riding up to 1.5 hrs does not tire your back or wrist due to the relatively upright position, (4) a full tank range can go up to 250 miles (400 km). However, the downside is that (a) acceleration from 75 mph (or 120 km) takes too long for passing a car on a highway (my top speed with my Ninja is 112 mph (180 kmh), (2) my butts get sore if I ride more than 1.5 hrs straight.😁😎

    Mr.Strell that was long pending from your end since 2016 i was expecting you will review the old Ninja :D . The disclaimer at 6:27 take a bow man, thats makes a lot of sense on Road safety context. That was a great review. And yes the braking from Endurance is not as efficient as it was with KRT and SE Nissin. And i think Michelin pilot street is doing a great job already!

  • @chaitanya5197
    @chaitanya5197 5 ปีที่แล้ว +21

    The problem of wobbling is not because of MRF tyres, because my 2017 Ninja had same problem which was wearing IRC

    The only problem i faced is the bottom scrapping very easily, and when you have a pillion you have to be very careful.
    Easy to ride in stop go traffic and it doesnt jerk like the 390's and its butter smooth.

    I'm 6 ft 2 and I weigh 300 lb and I own this bike right now currently. I started on a ninja 1100 and I've ridden up to 1300 cc's. Been riding 16 years. I absolutely love this bike and it is the most fun that I have had since I've been riding. I put a 15 tooth sprocket to make first gear longer consequently though every gear is a little taller now so it's slightly less torque. I wish we would stop calling these beginner bikes. Powerband kicks in over 8,000 RPMs and then that thing just wants to rip for a small bike that's where the fun is. 8000 - 13000 RPM. Fun little bike. The bike is plenty fast for City riding and she does the highway fine. You won't break any sound barriers and you'll have to plan your takeovers when passing. But this bike is absolutely perfect for around town in the city and through twisties. Still faster than most cars. A smaller lighter Rider will have different results. I'm telling you man this bike is great

      As a tall rider is the riding posture comfortable in the ninja 300? I heard that the bike is good for short riders....

    • @esclass
      @esclass 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@sreejankarn7458 i’ve done 2 to 3 hour rides nonstop 150-170 miles and have had to stop once or twice to stretch my legs a little bit, but that was also due to the fact that I had a lower back and knee injury which made it a little uncomfortable. Also for my comfort I added 1 inch handlebar risers, hush puppy grips and I took the padding from a ninja 400 and put it onto the seat pan of the 300. Super comfortable. However, I should add that the padding from a 400 and a 300 seat is night and day. it seems like a 3 inch difference which is a lot so even though it’s comfortable, it also raised my seat height. I may experiment one day by getting a stock seat to see if that adjusts anything. To answer your question, My posture is like sitting in a chair. I sit straight up. I have absolutely no lean forward on my hands, which is nice. Sometimes I do think about removing the risers so that I get a little bit of a pitch forward. Because of my height and my weight if I need to lean forward, I just slide back on the seat and lean forward, but it’s not a natural aggressive position. Getting into a tucked position is forced. I tried to add rear resets, but that made it uncomfortable. Would I want to go for a non stop 2 to 3 hour plus ride like I’m touring? Probably not. If I had to though, it wouldn’t be a problem as long as I stop once in a while just to stretch my legs. Would it be amazing for commuting to work or around town and just having an overall blast? Yes! I could probably ride the whole day around town. Plus, remember I am 300 pounds so there’s a challenge in there but imagine if I can do it and Enjoy it and I’m telling you this, then imagine what your experience may be like.

    Good Things about this video -
    1. Presentation is good.
    2. Voice is extremely pleasing
    3. Crisp and quick about topics picked.
    4. Too good that you have put the disclaimer about the speed run and its necessity.
    5. Overall good content and pleasing to view.
    Things i noticed, which i feel are not sitting right -
    1. Some technical details were superficial, could have added more in-depth details like the clutch [Developed by racing team] and the super hi-tech throttle. Lot of viewers watch such videos for reviews, yes, but you can cater to some of the petrol heads by giving details, trust me we all like a video where the presenter talks endlessly about the bike. I mean Ninja has a pretty decent lineage which you could have added, would have made it more interesting. Adding few more points like how this bike is performing in international market and what people outside india think about it.
    2. Point about taking this bike was unnecessary, up till that point i was easing into this video. But when you mentioned off-roading, i felt you went out of context.
    I liked your video. Keep up the good work.

    I’m already driving MT15 and want to add a 300cc bike in the garage for weekend getaways and sometimes for an evening chill..
    Confused between
    1) RR310, 2) Ninja 300, 3) Duke 250
    Any Suggestions

    • @Dsvkd
      @Dsvkd 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      1) rr310=low service cost but vibration problems
      2)ninja=good all rounder but costly compare to these two
      3)rc250= personally not a fan

    I'm glad there is a tyre hugger.. I have been behind motorcycles in wet roads and the water splashes all over me when there is no tyre hugger.. So, good that Kawasaki have put it. Just for design, pl don't ask them to remove it because it really frustrates and causes inconvenience to people behind on wet patches. About the grab rail - I guess it is there since it is a government regulation to have saree guard - so they had to put a rail so they could weld the saree guard.

    Is the ground clearance of Ninja300 livable for highway touring?
    I DO NOT intend to do off-roading with this bike but use it mainly for long distance highway touring.
    I always ride solo - so will the ground clearance become a problem or is that something I can easily live with?

    • @iamstrell
      @iamstrell  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes it manageable for single rider.

    If Ninja 250 is launched in India, will it be as good as this? keeping in mind it is more fuel efficient than the 300 and produces equal power as the 300.
