I wish every gain pedal had a blend/mix knob to layer in the gain effects, and not just stack 100% into 100% only. People think its wimpy like why need a mix knob? 100% only or go home. I see that attitude as advertisement of empty machismo.
Kinda ironic that what would seem to some as a cacophony of 'noise' is a great way to zone out and get lost in the moment...like your playing style and choices of effects pedals I've seen you using on your channel. Useful videos to watch and listen to too!
@@TheoAndHisPedals I'm sorry. Here's some facts that might make you feel better. 1) my fridge is empty and i don't wanna go buy groceries 2) i am really really bad at math and sciences and also I get restless leg syndrome all the time 3) i also am terrible at making people less jealous Sorry 😄❤️ In all seriousness, it's a lot of fun and that Mix control is very useable. I have not tried it on bass yet, though :) thanks man, appreciate you!
@@PedalsandTeadude if you are in England I will send you food. Hey restless leg syndrome? I thought I had that for a bit! And…. Now I have a Bass War on the way.
What's your opinion on this versus the Mountain Mover? I'm looking at getting a new fuzz, and the Mountain Mover is what I've had my eye on. But I think I may be more tempted by this-- doesnt' have the ring mod though.
@@brycet1505 hmmm the Mountain Mover always has a bit of an octave flavour and is generally a more snarly sounding fuzz. The ringmod is a lot of fun. I think Bass War is more versatile, especially because of the blend control. Both great though 👍
@@PedalsandTea Good to know. I wasn't picking up on the octave sound, but I was thinking this fuzz might (key word: might) replace my 0xEAE fuzz, so it's good to know that the Mountain Mover might venture into that territory tonally. The ring mod also seems like a lot of fun and would represent a new sound for my board. I think I may prefer the Bass War's actual tone, and that mix knob seems super useful for blending in other sounds. I may end up just trying to snag both and deciding from there.
Did not expect it sound so good for shoegaze
@@deathbyaudioeffects it sounds great for pretty much anything :3

@@brycet1505 that sounds like a plan :) can't really go wrong with either tbh. Both are loud and obnoxious 👍
PS..'cacophony of noise' refering to the music genre. Not your particular playing...just to clarify my previous comment lol.
