    Your channel will grow really well especially if you keep it non bias and honest. Also you're a nice guy to listen to. Cheers from Australia.

    Try grinding all your coffee for all your shots all at once and bellow and wdt all of it at once then weigh out your individual doses. You will still have variance!

      Yeah it will have some variance. I have tested the grinder for quite some time and usually retention is less than 0.3g.

    Great attempt CY. My approach is to wdt the grind in the dosing cup quite vigorously before putting into the portafilter. The adjustments for taste would then be done by grind size adjustment.

      P.S. The cast burrs in the DF64 are awesome. Sweet and mellow….

      Yes it's is good but rhe super fine powder is affecting the taste in the undesirable way. Nowadays I removed the super fine powder.

      @@CaffeMartellaSingapore Hi. Have you tried without declumper? It seems less fines when the declumper is removed, can it be possible? Because the very fines are always stuck to the declumper and near to it. By removing the declumper I get zero retention. And wouldn’t wdt balance the bitterness you mention? Thanks

    Hi, just wondering if you can confirm whether or not Ascaso will be releasing a Steel Duo Plus model early 2023 and if so what are the features of this new "Plus" model compared to the current upgraded steam model with the steam knob on the right hand side of the machine. Many thanks.

    Hi.
    Are you using the 14g basket that came with the Ascaso?
    Thank you.

    My SSP Ep 83 mm are pretty difficult to screw into the carrier on my Ceado e37s, and the zero point has now changed from zero all the way to 2…should I send them back or will this change with seasoning? Seems like a pretty large jump in zero to fix with seasoning them. So, I’m concerned

      From my experience, all SSP are thicker than stock burrs and hence the movement of the position. I dont see any issue with that.

    Would WDT not solve the issue from having fines on top or ground?

    • @CaffeMartellaSingapore
      @CaffeMartellaSingapore  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't think wdt will solve the issue with the super fine coffee powder. I believe we should eliminate it and don't let it get into the filter basket before you WDT.

    How do you like your electric tamper? Is it made well?

    very interesting, but shouldn't this happen to all the burr then, since all grinders retain fine.
