Back in E49, we sat down with brick layer Nathan to discuss how he found his way into the construction industry as a tradesman. Whilst learning to be a brick layer, Nathan quickly realised that he was being exploited for cheap labour during his apprenticeship, as he went over 2 years without laying a single brick. Nathan was very close to quitting the trades after this happened, but instead decided to report his situation to his construction college tutors.
