Great to know I’m not alone. My waterworks start during the piano solo, and really get going when Alex hits that guitar solo. One of the most beautiful pieces of music ever created in my opinion.

Wonderful to see news fans come on board. I remember someone saying, "40 years of making music and they are still relevant". I've seen them live 17 times. Like noted below, this is the last song on their last album. I've been a fan since the 1970's and enjoyed every note. Bless you boys for bringing me the soundtrack of my life. Neil, rest in peace. Heaven has the best drummer ever anchoring the holy hymns now!

Bitter-sweet track. Last song on the last RUSH studio album,😔. RUSH was making great music even after 40 years! thanks much for this one.☮ P.S. Since you have now reacted to the last RUSH song, I think you should try the 1st RUSH song from their debut album, RUSH! The song is "Finding My Way", and it's a real rocker!

Good evening, I started listening to RUSH in the 70s and they were still putting out more of my favorite songs in 2012! Sadly this was from their last album.

The drummer wrote the lyrics , this song means so much to the whole band , the Garden referring to family and close ones , The drummer lost a daughter to a car accident then shortly after his wife passed from Cancer , the singer Bass player parents were survivors of the Holocaust, the guitar players dad was a Siberian political prisoner,

If you'd like to see another emotional performance, I'd like to recommend Ghost Rider from their show in Rio; Neil's lyrics were based on what happened when his wife and daughter died tragically just over 10 months apart and he took a break from the band and rode his motorcycle all across North America as he worked to process his grief. Rest in peace Professor.

I would recommend to you the following Rush songs: Halo Effect, Closer to the Heart, Tears, Cinderella Man and if you don't mind a song that is about ten minutes long, I believe you will be awestruck by The Camera Eye.

This beautiful song is their last song on their last album.
    Halo Effect studio version
Secret Touch from the Snakes and Arrows tour
Natural Science from the Molson Amphitheatre Toronto

Your last two Rush reactions were to two of their most emotive songs. The violins help on this one. Nice picks.

I have a background in Biology, so the passage, "The cells tick away." (we slowly died daily) hit me hard. Did you know that the DNA in our mitochondria only comes from our mother? And that the theory of endosymbiosis proposes that the mitochondria started out as bacteria that entered the body and established a mutually beneficial relationship? And that up to 38 ATP molecules (energy/power molecules) can be made from a single glucose molecule via cellular respiration/the CREBS cycle in the mitochondria?
