The fact the walk and strikeout numbers being so close are what gets me. He has an elite eye and elite contact skills.. can't say I'm surprised. But, wow was this fun to watch all year.
One of the single greatest individual performances we’ve ever seen. 40/70 is something we probably will never see again in our lifetime. Congratulations Ronald!
Acuńa’s 1st homerun of the season, and then his 40th homerun of the season, were hit in the EXACT same spot in the National’s stadium. His 73rd stolen base, his last of the season which set a new Braves record, was against the Nationals at home in Atlanta. Life and its little ironies…😎
@@Baseballislife895 Being a Braves fan makes me biased, BUT.. If I'm looking at just this past season, I feel Acuna was the best in baseball. Fielding, batting, on the bases.. he was unstoppable. Ohtani is a marvel and had another stellar season though so its so hard to say.
41HR, 73SB, 1.012 OPS.. I would be lying if I said the MVP titles weren't clear this year. Still a wild race if you consider MVP titles needed historic performances this year!
This guy rolled all natural 20s when filling out his character sheet. How many tools can a player have?? If you don't like this guy, you don't like baseball!
Ok first judge strikes out 50 fricking percent and ohtani is not even that good of a pitcher and ohtani as a hitter was almost the exact same to marcell ozuna's season

Not just standing out this year but standing out when you take history into consideration. I would have been surprised if it wasn't unanimous. You can stack Ronald's season with some of the best of all time. The runs, batting average, RBI's as a lead off hitter. It was really a season that only Acuna can accomplish.

What a season he had, since the beginning with no slumps! One of the best offensive seasons ever, combining speed with slugging.
That's what I was saying all season. He was locked in from March 1st all the way through 162. There was no doubt in my mind that he would be MVP.

Too bad he slumped in the playoffs

Ronald deserves it he’s the man!!
As a Braves fan this is great to hear After a season like 2022
Was there ever any doubt? Unbelievable achievement, historic season. Congratulations Ronald!
This is literally one of the all time greatest seasons ever.
Beautiful 👏🏻

...unless he does it again next year, yeah.
Next year he will top it with a 50-80
An then the next year with a 60-90
And then..........

Yea I agree
But I think Ronald beats Ohtani out
@@royrobison5983hopefully we can have both on the Braves . Hearing Ohtani wants to join the Braves
enough about ohtani. acuña just had one of the most incredible seasons of all time.

No surprise here.
Wow
Congrats to Acuña on his MVP! But the number of views of his and Ohtani's videos clearly shows the difference in attention between them.😅
It’s funny because Ohtani’s MVP
popped up first when I refreshed the App. I had to look under another video to see Ronald’s.
Lol no it doesn't
